@ yinka , the people who stream into lagos everyday do so for no other reasons than the embassies they need to do transaction, the seaport they need to clear their goods or the international airport they need to go travel overseas.

A deep sea port in warri and akwaibom will change all that , the 4 intenational airports in nigerdelta and enugu will further consolidate that.

The embassies will basically close old redundant offices and open new consulates as business dictates.

I am still baffled and bemused on how a country that is supposed to be diverse operated only a seaport in apapa lagos

However delta indigines are a 1000 times more enterprising than lagos indigines . Niger deltans own 3 of the largest banks in nigeria (zenith, uba, access and they control the largest media empires of nigeria(thisday , guardian) a good number of the frontline hotels in lagos is owned by a deltan , ibru. No, they dont own the banks. You mean they own substantial/majority shares? 1000 times better? Calm down, you making a fool of yourself. No one believes a word of your chest-beating nonsense.

The oil swamp and rigs in delta generate 10 times more revenue than lagos generates and the bulk of it is still used to sustain lagos growth at more than 5 billion nairra alone a month. Kuwait earns petro dollars by the bucket loads, but no one wants to live there,,,except desperate Africans ofcourse. Point is, Lagos has more opportunities for a greater number of people than the ND, and Nigerians are voting with their feet, heading in the direction of Lagos, not Bayelsa or Benin. Nothing wrong with living in the ND btw

The diversity of delta is also unparalled , delta state is peopled by more than 10 (igbos, isoko,ijaws,urhobo,ishekri,ukuwani, agbor,etc) great and diverse tribes while lagos is just yorubas. Delta has been goverened by more than 3 tribes in 10 years while lagos is jus 1 tribe. Exposing your bofoonery again - Lagos is the most culturally diversed place in Nigeria. I'm from the ND (so says the govt), but also a proud Lagosian. Lagos holds no one back!

Eventhough everything in lagos was built by fg , the deltans have built international airports, flyover and ipps by themselves -Wrong again.

interms of manpower delta state has produced more and better human capital than lagos , delta state produced the finest military instructor, ck nzeogwu,who with only 5 majors demobilized the balewa govt without external support from a foreign power this same feat was achieved only by the north 6 months later involving all the northern soldiers and politicians with external support from britain and america achieving what looks more like ethnic cleansing than a coup.

Delta produces more graduates than lagos eventhough lagos embraced western education before delta state.Applaus

Delta has produced better scions and dynasties than lagos the ibru family and dafinone has no compare in the whole of yoruba land. This is laughable
