Zenith bank did not just start having poor customer service staff recently, it's been happening for as long as I can remember, it's even worse inside their banking hall, when those broke, make uf filled faced customer care ladies see u without pot belly, in just shorts and a simple polo top, they already look down on you. Me I have had to put alot of them wer they belong.

Yinmu, I know of two different people sourcing school fees at the moment that mentioned this fast tracking stuff by banks staff asking for 300k. Bank account numbers sit within the banks so CBN cannot push money to individual bank accounts.

CBN can develop an API that will credit any bank account in any bank, thus cutting off any commercial bank intervention in the whole process. And it should be done on first come first serve basis

This is false accusation. No one is fast tracking anything you'll apply online through your bank to cbn. It's cbn that credit your your school on your request though its not always fast.

The only thing cbn does is to credit your bank after they have disbursed the fx to you oga. Cbn does not have direct communication with customers, that's what commercial banks are there for

When Buhari sets the exchange rate, what do you expect?

Again, if the Naira was flexible, shouldn't it be possible to use ones dorm account debit card to pay fees?

All these Form 1 is a waste of time.

Form A takes a long time because there is a long queue of requests and Cbn has limited funds. The fact that your request is with ADB disbursement does not mean Cbn has released funds, it means a low ranked bank staff has approved it for back office to process.Cbn will surely stop Form A soon. It is another oil subsidy that should be done away with

If you must leave Nigeria, cut every ties with it.

But since nobody wants to fight to fix Nigeria, if they like let them run to Jupiter, Nigeria will hunt them down and happen to them. I bet they were nonchalant with events in Nigeria because they had the resources to japa. As long as Nigeria remains the shithole it is, it will continue to destroy lives directly and indirectly.

My sister has 250k naira with them and they refused her to have access to it because of some flimsy excuses.

I don’t know why all sector in Nigeria always collect bribe
Nigeria still have a long way to go

That's because virtually every Nigerian is corrupt and wants to become rich over night!

If tomorrow you find yourself in a position where you can enrich yourself overnight by taking bribes I'm 95% sure that you will also start taking bribes because it's the Nigerian way.

Nigerians are so used to taking bribes that they thinks it's the normal thing to do!

[These services no longer work in Nigeria after ENDSARS quote author=Cmanforall post=118349314]
There are other means to send money to them to pay these fees. The fact is that banks offer dollar and other foreign currencies at way cheaper rates, thus the rush for Form A.
If your sponsors are interested to pay your fees, they can use money gram, western Union etc. to wire the money to them.

Every Nigerian wants to go to UK to study. The British are reaping huge profits from our insatiable appetite for their university degrees. CBN should stop subsidising foreign education. Anyone who wants to study abroad should source for the fx himself.
Lol if you carry out a survey you'll find that most are not interested in the UK degrees as such. Its a migration strategy (tier 4 student visa -> post study visa ->wotk visa -> permant residence). There are some that believe it is easier to migrate to Canada from UK than to migrate to Canada from Nigeria. This is why people are taking loans, quitting jobs and selling their belongings.

Student visa is not equal to japa. I keep telling anyone who cares to listen. If a person wants to japa they need to make a solid plan and follow through their plan. For the UK if one is unable to meet the academic and financial obligation, they can get withdrawn with their visa curtailed hence mandating them to leave the country. Again if they complete their studies but do not receive clearance from the university, they will not be able to apply for the post study visa. In addition if they are unable to secure a job+workvisa sponsor after the post study visa they'll need to study again or leave the country. While working, they'll need to maintain some work status for 5 years to qualify for permanent resident visa. There are many IFs in this journey and always a good idea to keep as many options open.
