Emefiele must be sacked !!!
My sister got approval and everything, yet First Bank did not give her the dollar, one of the staff advised her to better go to black market.

Nigerian banks don't even fair CBN again because of negligence of CBN Governor.
Nigeria Bank like GTB will receive letter from auditor/ CBN for over charging customers and will refuse to acknowledge, reply nor refund customers under EMEFIELE.
God will judge all of them, wicked people.

That's why people never share any 'Update' not cos of selfishness, greed, wickedness or anything, cos they know that 95% chance at the very least, this very precious update will cast!

Not just in traveling and/or education in like this, but in many other things anything at all, in other areas of life
Problem, the fewer people know the better.

I Wonder when they'll wake up to the economic sabotage also going on in commercial banks through Form Q.

Relationship Managers are charging as high as Five Million Naira to process fraudulent form Q transactions.

Everytime I think of the rought in the Nigerian system, honestly, I canot but agree with those who say Nigeria cannot be fixed.

It'll be fixed after when each and everyone of us has eating same breakfast at different time. just wait and watch unless ofcourse if ...

Student visa is not equal to japa. I keep telling anyone who cares to listen. If a person wants to japa they need to make a solid plan and follow through their plan. For the UK if one is unable to meet the academic and financial obligation, they can get withdrawn with their visa curtailed hence mandating them to leave the country. Again if they complete their studies but do not receive clearance from the university, they will not be able to apply for the post study visa. In addition if they are unable to secure a job+workvisa sponsor after the post study visa they'll need to study again or leave the country. While working, they'll need to maintain some work status for 5 years to qualify for permanent resident visa. There are many IFs in this journey and always a good idea to keep as many options open.

How many years does the post study visa last and how may years for the job+work visa?

The man that made this post calling out the bank is part of the people putting too much pressure on banks and making the forex scarce for new students that wants to migrate to go study. Most of them try to act too smart. He is already in the UK why can't he pay directly from his bank account over there instead of expecting a bank in Nigeria to secure the scarce forex for him to pay from here. The reason they do that is very simple, instead of paying directly to the school, they send the money back to Nigeria, then change it at black market rate and that will yield more naira for them, they will now put that naira in their account and ask the bank to help them secure forex at the CBN rate to pay to the school. Greediness is what is about to cost him his graduation, the man should stop crying foul and blaming Nigerian banks, he is in the UK let him pay the school directly from there and stop adding more pressure to the already scarce forex that people are managing in Nigeria.

Every Nigerian wants to go to UK to study. The British are reaping huge profits from our insatiable appetite for their university degrees. CBN should stop subsidising foreign education. Anyone who wants to study abroad should source for the fx himself.

Nigerians love sucking the blood of the helpless and desperate. Tomorrow they blame white men for the rotten fruit Nigeria has become today

You really think its not worth it? We focus too much on the sacrifice that comes with the process, it will be worth it in d end
splashing that much because you want to relocate abroad doesn't make sense I repeat. Put that amount into Investment and in few years, you will be going to anywhere in the world on vacation with your family. Don't forget they will have to start all over again when they get there looking for jobs. Inadvertently, only the kids are at an advantage and that is if they don't derail.

Post study lasts for two years and the work visa lasts for 5 years. However, there are certain conditions/dots that must be met to be eligible for both as well as ILR which qualifies its holder to remain in the UK indefinitely.
