Military personality in the USA have social media presence, as long as they don't compromise their units and give away sensitive information..
So tell me, how dose military personal celebrating one of their own in his own marriage, pose as a risk to the military
Oga the Nigeria military should focus on it's primary duty of defending the country from external aggression and internal subversion,.. Which so far they have failedq
It is like na you push into problem with Nigeria Army Etiquette and Disciplinary Board.

Meanwhile you dey ya lane dey maintain focus
They are the ones going to hear from the board

Showing off on social media. This is one of the reasons why they dont have respect in the eye of a common Nigerian like before!

Soldiers with Baby mentality everywhere......
Gone are those days where u hardly see soldiers anyhow. By then seeing them alone, u will be shaking as if they were coming for u!....

Yeye, here in the USA one of the most emotional thing you can find in the net is footage of military personals
Surprising family members in school's, parties, gym,

While in military uniform, you must never prostrate to anyone or kneel down to greet or respect. What do people like you even know apart from comparing your developing country to developed one. Take care of your inferiority complex

There is no superior officer in the army that has the power to allow the junior officers/orderlys to flaunt military etiquette.
They know what will hit them
....

You are right...but why contradict my opinion ?

During burial and wedding ceremonies, the army sometimes do crossing of the sword ⚔️ and shouting of gun during burial to pay last respect for colleagues who died.....my question is, the display of uniform in those occasions are usually permitted by a superior authority ....so why contradict me ? Where did I mention senior officer in my earlier comment. ? Or you just want to oppose ?

Oga I was born into a military family...I have stayed in 4 barracks in this country...from ogun, venue, warri and Calabar....na who you one correct ?

You better relax

You think it's just by compromising unit and giving away position grin

And like people said if you cannot abide by their rules don't join the military

Dude keep shut, they were not knelling
They were doing push ups to show how gallant they are, even the groom did it. They were celebrating.
It was a celebration not anything to do with respect.

I applaud the Nigerian army for sticking and adhering to its norms and ethics.Otherwise the military will be rendered unorganized and undisciplined just the way the civilian corrupt system has disorganised the public civil service and rendered it a corrupt and most undisciplined government machinery the country had ever known. The average Nigerian most especially the youth of today do not seem to understand the difference between a society without proper ethics and norms and a properly organised society with ethics simply because most of them were born in an era that corrupt politicians are having sway.To most of them corrupt and unethical acts are what they have seen from the time they were born and so to them these are normal acts. The army to me should go further by completely dissecting its members from the social media otherwise the new officers will end up patronising the social media so much that the service will be affected by the lies and lack of etiquette of the social media practice.Long live the federal republic of Nigeria.

Well Military etiquette for burial of it's officers is tricky!
It comes with rules which like you said will require the Permission of a superior officer of a certain rank upwards! This set of officers will inform the council so that "gbege no go happen"
But you see that wedding.it is not as straight forward o
The officers will officially inform the Nigerian Army they are about to get married and all kinds of documentation
Before they are permitted to go out
It is not just about telling a superior personal o
Then there is the problem of use of social media...if you go and post somey your superiors are not meant to see.. undecided lipsrsealed
Omo all you are going to explain yaselves oo

You see this missing in action complaint is very serious in Nigerian Army
This one I admit
The only statement the ogas have released is that they are working to make it .... undecided
I pray families get the due and perfect response from NA

But you were in Nigeria to know they didn't flout the military social media rules right?

People like you are reason the country isn't moving forward. People like you supported cute Abiola against the military when he flouted their rules as well.

If you can't accept the rules, don't join it, simple!!

You seem to misunderstand the whole gist sir. It is not because of their use of the social media that they are been punished. Rather, they were in their full military gear and postrating to civilians. If they wore natives, it won't be much of an issue.

The groom was a military personal, they weren't prostrating, it was push ups, push ups are ways the military shows gallantry.

With Islamic terrorists sympathizers too many in the Nigerian Armed forces, the force is already most disorganised.
If you talk of Armed forces aiding Jihadists, yes, talk of many Jihadists in the armed forces of Nigeria.

Don't waste your time...go to coursera...study UI/UX design for free...get certification and start making money...then you can go to university of your choice abroad. You can do all this in 3 months depending on your speed of understanding. Thank me later.

It is very wrong for them to prostrate for their inlaw while donning the uniforms of the Nigerian Armed Forces. This is a descretion of the uniform and an affront to the authority of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

these clowns need to update their antiquated rulebook

can they claim that when the children of their ogas at he top get married, it does not get to SM?
It's not a matter of taking pictures but the rascality they displayed in public glare with their uniforms and still go ahead and post it in social media
