Students abroad also make huge forex remitances

I personally don't like Student studying abroad taking our petrol dollars that we got through Niger Delta.

If you feel like paying your tuition abroad, then go to Aboki BDC and buy at the blackmarket price

We Spend atleast $2billion USD or #1.4trillion Naira annually on paying Tuition fees abroad.

Give this money to ASUU and give Nigerian University a full turn around, we will have some of the best Universities in Africa and also attract Students accross Africa

.
how do you mean ! The dollars are not giving free . They provide Naira for that effect . A Nation that can fund religious travels to Mecca and Jerusalem funding education is far better

Okay!

Fix the damned economy and see things get better or is that a rocket science, and for your information, why do you think people are leaving, it's because the Nigeria dream is taking it toll on them. The earlier generations says it would be better, years later, their labours and beliefs lie in the grave.

So get the work done and stop trying to defend the failure of the leaders. It's a social contract between the leaders and the followers, everybody should abide by the Ts and Cs and get the flying job done.

A subsidized rate sees Nigeria Lossing 50% of the value

Both foreign education and Religious tourism are for rich people and don't need subsidy

It's not as easy as it seems.

CBN and the commercial banks don't have enough Dollars to carry out these transactions.

Where would they get it from when our dollar inflow from oil barrels could barely serve half of the nation?

The same place black marketers get the dollars to sell to individuals??

Yeah. Why do you think, the Nigeria government today, is looking for one way or another to put a stop to this Japa that's currently the trend in the country. They know the implications, and the threat it will pose on their embezzlement metric.

The higher the numbers of persons fleeing the country, the higher the risk of sustaining embezzlement. The same scenario played out in France in the 17th century. Try to read about the revolution that happened long ago in France. You will understand. Look at China, India, and in recent time, Saudi Arabia and Iran.

It's seems the Central Bank policy is flawed. Put restrictions on how people can access forex from commercial banks citing huge expenditure abroad as a reason. As a result small import business died quickly. And import duties and taxes plunges significantly. What Nigeria gain from Nigerian traveling abroad for school or medical reasons? What Nigeria gain from restrictions to access forex for import business? What they will focus on should be items of luxury that are unnecessary. Not what one needed start a simple business. If I were Buhari I should have fire Ememile or whatever his name long ago
