cool

Emefiele abi wetin be ya name...

Students abroad also make huge forex remitances

I personally don't like Student studying abroad taking our petrol dollars that we got through Niger Delta.

If you feel like paying your tuition abroad, then go to Aboki BDC and buy at the blackmarket price

We Spend atleast $2billion USD or #1.4trillion Naira annually on paying Tuition fees abroad.

Give this money to ASUU and give Nigerian University a full turn around, we will have some of the best Universities in Africa and also attract Students accross Africa

.
We subsided University education. That is the problem.

Federal universities are underfunded. FG should give them their own Autonomy.

The media can call it 'blame'.

Let's not forget to add Obi's children.

The fact remains that in typical years, the average number of students to UK from Nigeria was 8k, but in 2022 .

Even the UK announced that 2022 was the highest they had had in a single year - over 500 thousand.

Can't you guys take statistics for what they are and try to analyse bereft of sentiments?

I'm less concerned about the UK-reap,,ok? My concern is about the dieing populations. That means, amongst the over 150 million impoverished Nigerians, only 66,000 could find their way within 3 years; that's low na, abah! I want to see/hear figure like 10 million people Japa in 6 months.

Then, in three years, 60 million is out. So, that in a not too long distance, Nigeria will be left with just around 100 people, for the likes of Tinubu and Atiku, alongside moh247, seun and their likes to govern, do you get?

A cat in the village won't turn a lion in the city, you people with your Japarian mentality are free to migrate as it's your right.. we the progressive would stay and build this country slowly and steadily with Infrastructure like rail, ports , refinery as witnessed in Tinubu's Lagos master plan

There are plenty of Nigerian PhDs who do nothing but lie to Nigerians on a daily basis. Their highest qualification means nothing to me if they are not using it for good.

I think for autonomy to work, we need more technical and vocational colleges (university isn't for everyone especially in a developing country)

We need more affordable student loans

And mostly we need more Scholarship and grants for only the seriously qualified and deserving

Who creates budget and allocates funds for education in the whole nation? Truly u are a product of a failed education. You sabi nothing? The federal appropriation for education on a yearly basis is for a purpose. You don't even know.
So the Federal Minister of Education that Mumu Adamu is responsible for the education in your state, or education ministry in Abuja allocated money to your state for state government schools?

Sorry for you, these are the kind of oblivious people that blame President Buhari.

This is what at happen when you're playing with the future of education, how on earth will a country that just recovered from COVID-19 lockdown decide to go on 7months+ strike?
While the governors are celebrating graduation of their kids from schools abroad, not to even talk about that mumu we call buhari, junketing up and Down
Vote for APC or pdp next year, and you will see dollar rise like yeast

Is The Federal Government in charge of education, I thought those powers is vested in the various states of the federation?

Not everyone must go to Federal Government institutions.

Even you don’t even know what you are talking about, a victim of the failed educational system.

A total of 633. 3-Billion naira was said to have been spent in education in Nigeria in 2022. Can you wrap your mind around this? Have u ever thought of a thing like this. I am lost how to really engage u now because u have not shown one sign of understanding how government works. I am sorry, did you go to school?

he is partly correct. He carefully ignored the hoarding of the dollars by black market operators and also the lack of transparency in CBN dollar operations

This government is the most useless government in the history of Nigeria, always ready to blame. If truly those Nigeria going out to study are the cause, why didnt you guys increase the standard of education in Nigeria so that they won't travel again rather you give them more reason to travel out by destroying our educational systems with your negligence

If not hypocrisy, what concerns you with money spent on education in Kano or Gombe State for example?

Be more interested in how much your own state spent on education , can you provide the numbers?

Nonsense Almijiri.
