See this olodo talking about hunger, governments all over the world even advanced countries seek investments from all over the world to create jobs, and opportunities for their people to earn a living and put food on the table, but when it comes to Nigeria, investments and job creation is a bad thing, it means hunger and rubbish ignorant talk about per capita.

Even sef, is it not investments, job creation like this aircraft manufacturing plant that eradicates hunger and boosts per capita income?

Illiterate..

You are an ignorant dunce of the first order. There are poor and hungry people in Brazil, India, Pakistan, China, and even the United States, and it hasn't stopped them from innovation and scientific development, building aircraft and even space vessels, which have provided employment for their people and helped raise living standards.

If you had a working brain in your head, you would be looking to capitalize on the fledgling aircraft industry by setting up a manufacturing of specialised aircraft parts that will feed the new industry.

Tomorrow a Chinese or Indian will enter here and start doing it, while a lazy dunce like you will be on Nairaland typing rubbish out of your anus.[/quote]

Did you know there is something called SSI in the United States?

Kudos to the FG for showing vision with this entry into aircraft production.

Nigeria is not a communist country where govt is responsible for everything. The private sector has a very big role to play in building this economy. The 12 billion dollar Dangote refinery is among the world's largest, and is a Nigerian asset.

My brother, honestly, most of these Nigerian youths are just not right in the way they reason.

They seem completely ignorant of the fact that you need to develop new, modern industries to fill the unemployment gap. To industrialize, and build your technology.

Where do they expect the riches to come from?

I guess you didn't read the body of the message, it's assembly not production.

Where there is no product, and then YOU enter the process of creating the product via the manufacturing process of 'assembly', at the end of which there is a product, you have PRODUCED. You are a producer.

So if for instance, you ''assemble'' 1,000 planes and offer them up for sale, in industry you have PRODUCED 1,000 planes.

No one in the industry says ''oh no, you didn't produce anything. You just ''assembled'' them''.

There is no categorization known as ''assembly'' in commerce or industry. IT IS CONSIDERED THE SAME AS 'MANUFACTURING' and PRODUCTION.

I think you are seeing the glass half full which is entirely your right. But when out of hatred for political personalities or because of an election you look only at the negatives to score points - you are frying your brain neurons.

Anywhere in the world national development is not linear. There is no checklist. You don't have milestones to check off. You use your advantages and import the rest. Is the UK not having an healthcare crisis as we speak? Does that mean they should do nothing else except fix it?

It's election season and everyone is behaving like a rabid dog. We all need to remember that the election does not define us and that for millions of people, the loss by their candidate will not derail their upward trajectory if they do the right things in their personal lives.

Nigerian economy is not doing well and yet Nigeria is advancing. If one is not polar, one should be able to hold two contradictory statements in ones head and make sense of both of them
You really think it's about elections? You Nigerians are irredeemable. I won't even dignify you with an argument. May you APC dolts never happen to Nigeria again.

We shouldn't build airplanes because we are not producing aviation fuel even though we have planes flying all over the country with aviation fuel in them..

Why is it always hard for you and your mentally backward anti-Nigerian kind to make sense?

Serving food already cooked by someone else is a totally different skills-set from preparing and cooking the food yourself.

You obviously have no idea of what you are talking about.

If you want to “manufacture” them you dismantle and learn then design your own, patent it.
You start making efforts towards meeting laid down safety standards.

In conclusion, a simple “General operative” (secondary school level education with ability to read and follow a manual) is all you require in assembling.

For manufacturing: aeronautic-engineers, electrical engineers, AI & robotics are minimum.

Tell the clowns.

The Nigerian College of Aviation Technology IS in Zaria, Kaduna State.

That is where we have the expertise available to build aircraft.

Where should we build the aircraft?

In your village?

Primarily, the art of production is consist of taking a raw material to finished stage or designing a product by yourself, which one have we done?

The problem with many of you is that you try to present your pessimism and inferiority complex as 'common sense'.

Nigeria produces 650,000 tonnes of steel per annum, which is more than the output of Israel, Singapore, Denmark, Croatia, Morocco, Bulgaria, and many other countries.

https://wisevoter.com/country-rankings/steel-production-by-country/

Bulgaria manufactures aircraft, but produces just over 500,000 tonnes of steel per annum.

Denmark and Israel also build aircraft, and Nigeria produces more steel than them.

Pakistan and India have not ''fixed their power situation''. Daily power cuts are the reality in both countries.

But they both manufacture aircraft, and even spacecraft, while still trying to sort out their developmental issues like power.

But Nigeria, according to you empty heads, should not and cannot do anything UNTIL she has provided 24/7 light to everyone, fed everyone to their hearts' content, and until she has a ''booming steel industry'', and all these other excuses to cover what is really your RACIAL INFERIORITY COMPLEX in which you feel that only ''white people'' are qualified to be innovative and technologically proficient.

THAT is your real mental problem to deal with.

You all need major national re-orientation to rid you of your racial inferiority complex.

Have you compared the GDP of Nigeria to Israel, Denmark etc.

Plus which steel plant in Nigeria is working?
So we're do we produce steel?

Have you checked the power generation in india. .

Before you run your mouth..

Nigeria needs to set a foundation for manufacturing before manufacturing can strive else it will be short lived projects.

Like p&g plant in agbara that closed. We need to fix power, get access to raw materials and others

What stops YOU from going into power supply business to help meet that 'need'?

Do you know that your juniors are making a killing supplying off-grid power to Nigerians today?

what makes you so sure I haven't tried and was forced to close shop like the millions of businesses that have seen their demise under the most rudderless govt in sub Saharan Africa. Again why should I be doing the job of the people that were voted into power, who's helping them spend their fat salaries? which country uses off-grid power supply to power their economy? Including ones who invented off-grid energy. are you a toddler? you must be birds of the same feather with the silly sirika guy..

that's how you end up eating scarce resources when clueless people are in every sector
