The shareholding structure of the Port is as follows: The Lekki Port Investment Holding Inc. (international consortium) owns 75% (China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd 52.50%, Tolaram 22.5%), the Lagos State Government owns 20% while Nigerian Ports Authority owns 5%.

What kind of math is this? All the percentage put together is supposed to be 100% who wrote this na? This is the more you look the less you see😭

And how is that not 100%? Can't you see that the 75% was break into two

You are the one who doesn't understand the math:
Lekki Port Investment Holding Inc. (international consortium) owns 75%. The consortium is China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd and Tolaram! So when you add the percentage of each member of the consortium, you get 75%.

At Least the evil landlord is one of the facilitator of this port.

What does the useless landlord in your state bring to the state.

Stop blaming Tinubu for your failure, Tinubu is not the cause of your poverty.

How?

Lagos state government will ensure that the port is 100% maximized even at the detriment of Apapa port considering the fact they stand to make profit from this business

This is how some of your type will easily fail simple exam questions. The rush to write sth without further reading to understand is a bane of today's woke generation.

China Harbour- 52.5%
Tolaram- 22.5%
Lasg-20%
Fg- 5%

Total -100%

I guess this is clearer to you now.

In case you're curious about TOLARAM, they are the international company of VASWANI. They also own DUFIL the company that produces Indomie, power oil, minimie chinchin and many other things. They've been in Nigeria for long. Na their name they mispronounced to be ANSWANI

Who is behind Tolaram?

I know that will be the question on people’s minds.

If FGN through NPA owns 5% only, this again has confirmed again that the handlers of our National treasury does not know how to negotiate.

There must be a place in your village where they manufacture ignorant and illiterate people.

Nice, they should prevent Tinubu from hijacking the accrued revenue.

He will earn a large chunk of revenue from it. With the port operation, IGR will increase and AlphaBeta will get an increased consultancy payment!

All he has to do is allow the State Governors attract investments that will increase IGR.

I think Tolaram is Indian. A conglomerate that is into many things in Nigeria (basically consumption products) and externally. Run a check on that name.

MODIFIED

I think it is an Asian Tiger company afterall. Regrets. I had an Indian Director that worked with them leading me to thinking its an Indian company

They negotiate to benefit their own pockets not the nation's.

Let's thank Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe that secured Nigeria's independence with other notable Nigerians.

Therefore we give Late Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe the credit for this new Lekki Port and all other things that had been happening in Nigeria for helping Nigeria get independence, because without Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, Nigeria would have still remained in the hands of British colonial masters. God bless Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe for allowing Lagos state to enjoy numerous privileges in Nigeria.
