The term North is a geographical term AND a political one as well. It is not a tribe (by the way, the use of this term is derogatory and should be avoided. Nobody describes the English, scots or the welsh as 'tribes'.) It is also not an ethnicity or an ethnic nationality.

The South East and South South are also not 'tribes'. These terms are geo-political in nature.

Getting the terminology right is the first order of business.
