Very insensitive and selfish individual. It's always me, my and myself for him. Same thing he did in Lagos for 8 year till date. If not for his personal gains, it won't move him.

Do you think you are on the Positive side ? or by taking side with Tinubu like the way you drolled after Buhari does that put you on the positive side, the last regime had 8yrs to fix the 4 refineries so that if subsidy was removed it would not affect the masses, but instead he borrowed more money than 16yrs of PDP, and actually nothing to show for it, if your leaderd had the masses at heart the writer of that speech and the person that vetted it should know in the implication of that pronouncement, but they dont care and it not today i know you with your grill business that does not grow like Buhari's Cow.
Thank you Ms Gare.

Keep deceiving yourself, how many times did Buhari remove subside? Subside is mainly due to exchange difference as long as we keep importing fuel they will always be subside.

The internet never forgets. If Jonathan had removed the subsidy back then, Nigerians would have adjusted by now

In this life ,intelligence and brilliancy is not enough. Without courage , determination, guts and balls one is going nowhere .
All the accolades and praises been heaped on Tinubu today for removing fuel subsidy could have been given to get if only he had the balls and courage to stick to his guns and maintain his stand then .

My friend go and sit down, subsidy is gone and will never come back.

Tinubu and APC use you people to fight Goodluck Jonathan in 2012 when he wanted to remove this same subsidy.

Now who do you think will pay you to go out and protest? No one because every sensible person want subsidy to be removed.

My only problem was the timing but I have come to realize that there is no perfect timing as the subsidy cabals are always planning ahead on how to sabotage the removal, but it seems Tinubu ambush them as they didn't think he will announce it on the first day.

This apparent confusion is the handiwork of the cabal. During the Jonathan tenure, there was nothing to fall back on as the cabal ensured that no refinery worked. Now, Dangote refinery is on stream so in less than a month the seamless supply of petroleum products can be achieved which leaves the June 30 end date for subsidy properly placed. This idea of issuing license to import products issues from the greed of the cabal who cannot fathom how to live without subsidy. It's unfortunate that the president's pronouncement was unnecessary as he doesn't owe the cabal any explanation nor the citizens as no shortfall will be expected with Dangote refinery being on stream. This is one of those unnecessary "I must make a statement" mistakes people make to be seen to be in charge.

Whether our oppressors kill our children and make our lives unbearable, we don't mind, as long as our brother is president grin

We'd rather have our senile brother be president than have an omo Igbo that is capable of bettering the living condition of our children as president. I repeat, Yoruba ronu grin

Say no to Igbo domination, they are already better than us even without presidency, how much more will they be if we hand their brother presidency to make our lives better. Yoruba ronu oooo grin

U are spitting trash, the very day we divide these nation then u will know why majority of the expatriate in Lagos don't buy house but rent it. We consider Benin republic as part of yoruba so we let them live as if they are in there country. Long story short pray we don't divide cause most of u will forfeit ur property voluntarily due to high tax on property once again ask the expatriate why do they prefer renting to buying of property

Any advocate on fuel subsidy should convince the Nigerian people why President Tinubu should embark on a present illegality that gulped $10 billion of our scarce or unavailable resources in 2022 alone.

Those claiming to defend the right or welfare of workers should convince the Nigerian people that $10 billion injected into the economy yearly will not jumpstart the economy enough as to create massive jobs and even increase the same minimum wage they complain about.

Anything to move our Darling country forward is all we want at .

God bless the sane, honest and hardworking people of our land.
Y'all will eat the fruit of the land.

It will end in praise for us all in due season.
Nigeria will be great in our lifetime.

Is it not you that was supporting Buhari and all of his failed policies while mocking those who were wiser than you in calling out the many evils that you gloatingly supported?

Are you back again with your delusional contributions? Which vehicle cartoon will you use now seeing that the 'danfo' you liked to display in support of your deluded posts has finally knocked engine? Which level of state of desrepair or hopelessness will the vehicle look like? And who will you now blame for the present, hopeless state of that vehicle you intend to use this time with Tinubu standing by to fix it?

The removal can't stand I support NLC on this . As long as our refineries are not working and dangote's refinery is not fully functional , no removal of oil subsidy..

Here are five benefits of fuel subsidy removal:

1. Fuel subsidy removal, according to experts, would free up resources for other sectors of the economy.

2. The government spends a significant portion of its budget on fuel subsidies, which could be better spent on education, healthcare, infrastructure development, amongst other key sectors.

3. Establishments of domestic refineries to produce more petroleum products, reducing Nigeria’s dependence on imported fuel.

4. Availability of domestic refineries will boost the country’s economy

5. Massive creation of jobs for Nigerians.

Tinubu only announced what Buhari has done so don't blame Tinubu or even Buhari. Subsidy removal is long overdue and was removed by law. NLC can only ask for the $800million USD loan that Buhari collected and demand that the money be used to buy Electric Buses for the States and FCT.
