Hello Mamas. How is everyone doing?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Hope this new year delivers our heart desires to us.

This is wishing everyone who has started their IVF process and those who will start soon a positive outcome.

Believe God and be positive and everything will turn out fine.

I have my first ultrasound on Saturday, 5th. Praying everything turns out well.
Amen...thanks dear. Don't worry, all is well!

oh well that s true. But Dr Moses is very patient and explains in details. I even wanted to pay and start the ivf straight away but he said he s after good results and placed me on birth control pills first to help achieve good egg quality. And I also love the serene environment and professional staff. I once had a failed iui cycle at Grabbo and I regret going there even if her ivf is cheaper than el rapha. Very unorganized and nobody tells u anything. Dr always in a hurry. Imagine starting an iui without tests and bringing semen all the way from the house and taking time to 'wash' it. Everywhere noisy. Haba!

Hmmm! Birth control pills do not help achieve good egg quality. Many clinics use it for their own convenience in order to be able to batch several women at the same time.
Also, 'very unorganized and nobody tells u anything+ noisy environment' - this description is ordinarily enough to warn people away BUT if ebonynelly (very big congrats on your bfp) reports that out of 8 women, 6 tested positive in her particular batch at this same clinic, they must be doing something right! Unfortunately the 2 that were negative may also have had different outcomes if this clinic was more organised so you can look at it from that angle.

However, wishing you luck at your own clinic. Just pray hard and try not to worry. There are no guarantees of success with IVF at any clinic; only He can do that!

Why Birth Control Pills is Used in IVF

First, in a normal menstrual cycle multiple follicles (which contain the eggs) begin to grow, but then one follicle becomes dominant and grows faster than the rest and the remaining follicles stop progressing. In an IVF cycle though, we want as many follicles as possible to grow. By taking birth control pills before starting the oviarian stimulation medications, the follicles are more likely to grow at a similar rate. This leads to a greater number of follicles being mature at the same time, and therefore increases the number of eggs that are retrieved.

Using birth control pills also allows the fertility clinic to effectively schedule retrievals. This allows the correct number and type of staff to be available when needed. It also ensures that the embryology lab does not have too many retrievals in one day; the number of times incubator doors are opened in one day has to be controlled to maximize results in our embryology lab. This type of scheduling also gives us the ability to arrange your cycle so that it does not interfere with business trips or vacations.

Lastly, birth control pills can also decrease the chance of developing cysts prior to starting the stimulation medications. When cysts are present, sometimes we need to drain the fluid from them and that can cause a delay in your cycle.

I had my myomectomy at FMC Jabi last year. When I was researching about clinics for IVF I came across one person that said she knows of two people that used there for ivf and were successful. That was all the review I came across. You know their ivf clinic is pretty new so it's understandable. Generally, they are okay in their service (I don't know about that of ivf clinic). I didn't use them cos of shortage of reviews and for the distance. They were my 3rd choice. I chose Grabbo cos of reviews and closeness.

*WHAT IS DIAPER RASH?*

Diaper rash is a very common problem, paeditricians say. It is caused by irritation in the diaper area and can be very uncomfortable for your baby, experts say.

According to paediatricians, the rash can get worse if it isn’t taken care of properly. Infection can occur, including infection with the yeast Candida.

*Some home remedies for diaper rash*

*Coconut oil*

Coconut oil is one of the most widely used home remedies for diaper rash thanks to its antifungal, antimicrobial properties. It can be used as a moisturizer to heal and soothe the baby’s skin. It is also great for everyday use.

*Shea Butter*

Another excellent remedy is Shea butter which has been used for various skin problems for centuries with excellent results. Its antifungal properties reduce the inflammation caused by the rash and helps with the healing process.

WHERE TO FIND & BUY ORIGINAL RAW & UNREFINED SHEA+COCO MIXTURE FOR ALL KINDS OF DIAPER RASH;

Well, my systoms are just like yours. Sore breast and Nausea. The nausea only became more serious since yesterday. I almost threw this morning.

Fingers crossed for you.

Hello Mamas. How is it going?

Well, I had my scan today...

YAY!!! YAY!!! YAY!!!

1 viable embryo was seen with due date on 29/08/19.

I am so grateful to God for this result. It could have gone the other way as I met 2 people that their embryos has stopped growing.

I pray that this ends up being our so much awaited miracle baby.

Next scan in 2 weeks.

Fingers crossed...

Still sending positive vibes to everyone.

Keep us updated.
