Soon, nigeria will totally hijack amapiano from south africans.
S.A invented it but we are perfecting it.
All nigerian amapiano songs are hit.
Imagine Kcee's Ojapiano.
He mixed he's with local ojah, behold, its now a hit.
Amapiano came to nigeria throw davido and focalistic's KeStar Remix.
The remix is even better than the original song.
Now look at champion sound.

We are getting it.
Asake confirmed it in his new hit "Amapiano".

"Amapiano,
Diano,
Is a big vibe, all the girls dem know,
Steadily, Steadily,
Heavily We Are Getting It
"

In the world, Nigerians have the sweetest melodies in every genre including rap and even indian songs 😂

Time will prove this statement to be true.

I wouldn't oppose it that Nigerians are improving in this Amapiano shit but the truth still is SA is still the Boss. Talk about the dance step, the crazy beat and the, although meaningless lyrics, flow. I think it's very easy for them. I actually love amapiano, too much. From kamo mphela to Daliwonga, boohle, young stunna. SA na baba.

Tell your bro, to stop deluding himself, there's literally no Nigerian amapiano hit in SA, not one! what you call amapiano over there doesn't even sound like it

Amapiano is Nigeria actually sounds different tho.
South Africa amapiano is just beat and little lyrics plus slowpoke dance move.

Nigeria added lyrics, tho I'm tired of amapiano tho, give me anything afro, gimme omah lay.

I sell effective herbs tho, check siggy, put calls

As for what you deem meaningless lyrics, try to think of it as types of Hip hop, there's lyrical hip hop and there are club bangers, it's the same with amapiano, there's a lot of lyrical amapiano, vocal r&b- like songs that speak of love etc, and then there are club bangers...tell me the songs below have meaningless lyrics

Lol, You're just forcing yourselves on the genre because of your country's inherent and insatiable need to be noticed, you have perfected nothing, you're simply riding on the bandwagon. Sit down.

Amapiano is not a Nigerian thing let's be realistic and respect what/who should be respected.
What Nigerians have done with it is just to take the most common elements then created something else which still isn't the real thing...we can call it something else tho but if you'd ever refer to the sound Nigerians make as "amapiano" then it should be placed after the real thing and not before... anything otherwise is to call it something else maybe "Afropiano" or "Amafrobeat" or anything that sounds right but let's be realistic.

Take it easy bruv...the whole country ain't saying the same thing, don't make it bigger than it is.
Ignore what needs to be ignored.

What seems to be consistent tho, it's the Nigerian arrogance. It really rubs me the wrong way

it's just excitement that happens to most Nigerians... People misunderstand that a lot.
Nigerians are great people that do awesome and very prominent things without a doubt they(we) know this and it's the reason for the special feeling amongst others most of the time.
Don't take it the wrong way...
Whenever you see a Nigerian "showing off" just take it as them having their moment...try as much not to get involved.
I truly understand where you're speaking from.
