It's easier to just release Nnamdi Kanu than cause more avoidable deaths. To some people it's a war of ego while others it's a chance to annihilate the tribe they hate but to the wise dialogue is the only solution. The immediate cause of the unrest is Kanu's arrest and detention so common sense tells that his release ends it abruptly. It is not cowardice but wisdom 2 Likes |

Once again another politics being played by the army. Why announce your intentions? why not set thr enforcers up? army/DSS should wear plain clothes and pretend like traders on that day, lay ambush for them, neutralize and impersonate to neutralize more. This battle has gone beyond conventional warfare. 3 Likes |

legitnow1: LOL, one thing about Nigeria I don't like is they always fell for traps. An average igbo man is more afraid of Nigerian army that UGM. You see that August sit at home will be the oga kpatapata of them all. Even market women don't like seeing Nigerian army. The system is not going to work 1 Like |

Another Buratai in the making? I hope not. Our army should only be called in when a security matter escalates beyond what the police and other security outfits can handle. Truth be told, I don't see why ipob issue demands army intervention. 2 Likes |

Ethnic cleansing will definitely cleanse you. Had it been your family was one of those that have suffered from this menace called sit at home you wouldn't have been spitting non sense here. The same people that complain of ethnic cleansing are the same shouting why federal government not doing anything about sit at home. Cursed people helinues: 2 Likes |

That was how kidnapping started with only foreigners and expats being kidnapped years back, Nigerians kept mute until it morphed into the monster it is today where every tom, dick and harry is being kidnapped. Any evil you tolerate and pamper (no matter your justification for doing so) will eventually turn around to consume and destroy you. This is the case of ipob. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Oloki:He is not controlling people in the South East he is simply terrorising people by unleashing gunmen and imported mercenaries who kill people randomly to enforce his sit st home and the FG under Buhari allowed it by ensuring that their was minimal federal presence and tactfully ensuring that the security agencies failed in dominating the area leaving many known spaces ungoverned by security agents |

seunjungle1: This was why I was insisting igbos should protest first, before sending army, by the time you know what is happening, they will change like chameleon and term it ethnic cleansing. That is why protest and allow them cry very well for army to come to there aid, when Nigeria army now comes, they will be appreciated and they will help them get information. 8 Likes |
