Yorubas on this forum should stop discussing the BIAFRA episode, its not in Yorubas best interest. Remember the Igbos lost a lot of things in that war and it hurts more when you get reminded all the time by a particular set of people. I don't see northerners going back and forth on this BIAFRA issue on nairaland. The issue in western region, after 1951 regional election, was centered on the political control and the premiership of the region. The federal representatives were appointed until 1956 federal election which Zik won in Onicha.

Ita and Udoma were politically disgraced at the polls by elementary school teachers. In fact, both were treated to a deceitful Yoruba political cocktail by Awo as all promises made by AG and Awo came up empty.
