Because its ordained by God & if I go into it for the right reasons, I wouldn't regret it

Many people today dont know why they are getting married, for some it is the in thing, they want to belong, for others it is a societal demands and for others it is a form of security. Agreed a married man is call a responsible man but the truth is that what is responsible if a man cannot provide for his family and show examplary character to his children and spouse. Marriage in itself is good when it is done for the right reasons and based on truth.
Honestly, the way I see it today the marriage institution has fallen apart it is no longer what it used to be. There is so much disrespect and disregard for the tenets of that institution. So much deceit and so much acrimony that goes on in there. The stories coming out of marriage these days does not encourage any innocent by stander to want to venture in but then time is of essence in marriage especially for women. So i think for the purpose of procreation marriage is important so two people who believe in eachother can bring up children in the proper and civil way to be a valuable person in the society.
