30% waohh that much in a church. Is the sermon weak? If no, it means those people who sleep during sermon are weak in spirit. They come to church but their minds are far else where, when one fall asleep in a very noisy enviroment its because his spirit is not with that enviroment. Therefore, the noise may ve no effect on him. This is not physical battle.
There are distracting forces moving aroung to put some people out of listening to the sermon.
Or, it may be that some do night job and they just ve to still come to church, in this case it is fatigue.
God should be worshiped in spirit.

Several reasons,
1) if the message is boring .
2)If the message is not delivered by the anointing( message of flesh)
3) Demonic attack, demons do make certain people who are not well prepared sleep. But when a man is spiritually charged. It wont happen

They sleep because they are tired, with black out, humid and mosquitoes infested nights nigerians hardly get good sleep. They should be resting at home and making good plans for days ahead instead of listening to pastors that are only interested in the paupers earnings. Those that like to reap where they did not sow.

I cannot believe you will admit that Demons gain such passage into a place of worship to close the eyes of the faithful. Mind you even at Christ Embassy, you will find people been watched for sleepiness grin It is plain and simple. You need more than just knowledge of the Bible to Preach the Gospel, you need
1: Understanding + Wisdom
2: A natty sense of humor
3: A good list of testimonies to slip into the sermon and get people's attention - remember a lot of faithfuls are still babies trying to grow
