You don't want the thread derailed but you can post senseless lies because you are a foolish Igbo filled with hate for the superior Yoruba tribe but you don't want to be countered with evidence exposing your lies.

Asiwaju carry go,the man with the midas touch. This is a man that worked years in Exxon Mobil and rose to become Treasurer.
It is a phonecall and all IOCs will gladly listen to him because he knows which buttons to press.
In as much as I am gladdened by this news,I want the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum to desist from continuing with the so called repair of the Refineries. Please let them sell those scrap of metals draining our commonwealth
Let them keep two of the scrap metals and work with Dangote Refinery and other modular Refineries to start operations

Story for the gods.

Sell to who and why exactly? That's how Nigerians believed that the sale of NEPA will improve power supply. What has been happening since after the sale of NEPA? Artificial scarcity of prepared metres, outrageous bills for those billed with estimation, no rapid response for areas where estimation billing is dominant, physical abuse of Nigerians by the staff members of the electricity distribution companies, houses connected to electric polea are billed every month even if those houses experience blackout for a year.

This is also how it is claimed that Dangote Refinery will make fuel affordable for Nigeria. How cheap are cement, salt, sugar and flour for Nigeria?
The sale of NEPA was the wisest move ever, however we need tight policy to hold thos it was sold to accountable,1st of such policy should have been the complete outlaw of estimated billing, by now we all should have pre paid meters so no light no bill.

You’re the one spewing rubbish. The university clearly said the president graduated with first class honors. Even David Hundeyin had to shamelessly admit that the president truly attended and graduated with first class from CSU. Stop lying about others to make yourself feel good. It’s even more annoying when you’re lying about an information that’s publicly available and easily verifiable.

The university didn't say Yorubaland has gas..

Same igbos they are sending out of Lagos is the same Igbos gas a yoruba man wants to sell..

We will show you were are not Niger Delta militants

You will only and can only wail online

It can't be the wisest move since the required tight policy is lacking.

No government provide electricity in the developed world. It has to be private, take for example imagine if Nitel was still providing us telecommunications, we wont even have internet.

But those countries, unlike Nigeria, have good policies to protect citizens against outrageous bills by the electricity companies. You yourself pointed out that the required tight policy is lacking in Nigeria. So, privatisation of electricity distribution in Nigeria is undoubtedly a big scam.

So they give nepa back to govt where bureaucracy will destroy it most

Imagine how nnpc is now

Re: Tinubu Approves Sale Of More Oil And Gas Fields by spiSeyi: 9:54am On Nov 23, 2023
Nice way to go NNPC should be fully privatized to solve the Oil deficiency just like the Telcom sector was fully privatized by selling off NITEL undecided . PBAT economic reform is on the right part may God guide our leaders right according to the first stanza of our National Anthem.

You either shy away from the obvious truth or you ignorantly use the wrong analysis here. The sale of NEPA has not improved electricity in the country. Let me explain. Energy supply increased by like 20 or 30 or 40%, but the bill increased by more than 100%. The about 40% increase in the energy supply would have meant improvement if the increase in the bill does not exceed 40%. How much was the electricity bill during the time of NEPA compared to now that electricity distribution has been privatised?

If not for privatisation by now,U wont even be talking of electricity, you would have to provide your own electricity for months on end, it would have vanished NITELl AND NNPC
Right about now FG needs to force them to provide Prepaid Meters as the only source of billing, that will force thier hands into i nvesting in the sector
