Lagos airport is a disgrace to Nigeria. Early last year I landed in that airport from Europe - internationa wing. It was a complete disaster. And immediately on leaving the airport to my hotel, everything I saw was an eye sore. Everything was dirty and dustry and looking really really bad. But on landing in Abuja I saw a lot of difference. Imagine most foreigners visiting Nigeria lands at that same airport. It's an embarrassment to our image as a country. Lagos need to do better

It is a right step in the right direction. If NDDC headquarters can be in Port Harcourt, why can't FAAN be headquartered in Lagos? After all, MMIA is the busiest airport not just in Nigeria but in West Africa.

Uncle, NDDC is for South South states only and few others joint it. It is not for Nigeria as a whole. So quick of it.

I think for peace to reign there should be true federalism and devolution of federal powers.

Let each region or states in Nigeria develop its own areas based on its internally generated revenue.

Federal government should not share the money that belongs to the Niger delta region to lazy states.

The federal government should not share the money being generated by the Lagos state government or Kano state government to any lazy state.

Each state or region should work hard, generate revenue and pay federal tax to the centre.

This money will then be used to maintain immigration, police, customs, army etc.

RESTRUCTURING is the way forward for Nigeria.

Unwise decision. The president should not be sentimental in his decisions. Why Lagos? With the traffic jam and all. Why not somewhere else like Port Harcourt? Or even leave it in Abuja which is the capital. Misplaced priority.
