The latest news going round in the FCT is the request of 18million naira by the AMAC chairman Hon Christopher Zakka Maikalangu from residents of WUMBA village before he can Approve a transformer for them, the most populated area and economic part of WUMBA village has been without electricity for two months, after their transformer was engulfed in fire on the 3rd of February. the AEDC have refused to provide another transformer for the community, urging residents to contribute money to the tune of 20million naira to get a new transformer or 9million naira to repair the damaged transformer, without any hope coming from the AEDC, The residents decided to seek the help of the AMAC chairman "Hon Christopher Zakka Maikalangu" who got majority of his vote from WUMBA village which happens to be his constituency,

I need to hear the policy that made him demand for such amount, meanwhile the electricity bills we are paying where does it go? |
