At the station, the DPO of the station, CSP Segun Fabunmi, explained that his men had to shoot the young men playing football on the street because they attempted to disarm his men who rushed there when they learnt that there was disturbance in the area.
He described the youths as hoodlums, adding that his men acted in self defence.

It will be a step forward if the sick policemen can be brought to book.(not at the back door) where they will transfer him to a remote village till all die down.

He should pay with his own life, there's no way one unarmed guy could be a threat to three armed policemen!

Just got information that the person killed was not even protesting, 4 of them were playing football on the street and the police came and shot the 4 of them in the legs after some argument and that led to the death of 1 of them and people around are now trying to get police report to treat the other 3, what is brutal incident, the police are just too ignorant, God help us

What is the difference between these acts and BH's? The same objective is being accomplished.

Are you sure about the emboldened above?

Do i need to remind you of the case of Rear-Admiral Harry Arogundade  of the nigerian navy and Miss Uzoma Okere

some  few years back?

Remember how three armed navy personnel beat the unarmed medium-sized young lady and her friend

Abdulahi Abdulazeez up and stripped Okere Unclad, for "blocking his way on the road." . It was claimed by the naval

ratings attached to arogundade that Okere was trying to disarm them hence they reacted in SELF DEFENCE!!!

I MADE A POST SOME DAYS AGO BUT IT DIDNT MAKE FRONT PAGE COS I WAS ASKED TO PRESENT MY EVIDENCE,
WELL I HAVE NO EVIDENCE, BUT I WILL RE-PASTE THE POST I MADE AND I WANT YALL TO SPREAD ALONG,  SPREAD ALONG PLEASE
ITS NOT ONLY IN LAGOS THAT PPLE WERE SHOT, PPLE WERE SHOT IN ALMOST ALL PROTESTING ZONE

----IF YOU OBSERVE THE GUY, HE WAS WEARING AN OCCUPY NIGERIA SHIRT WHICH INDICATES HE WAS A PROTESTER!!!!!!

Abuja Eagle Square Protests: We have it on good authority from a very reliable source from one of the Nigerian security agencies that at least one person has to be killed amongst the protesters that would appear tomorrow to protest the petrol taxes. The top hierarchy of this service concluded that the best way to stop the protests is to kill at least one of the protesters.

On my honour and dignity I write these words, we have very credible and trusted information from one of the security agencies (we will not name names) that they should ensure that at least one protester gets killed tomorrow to scare the rest and other potential protesters from across the country. You would recall that protesters have been killed in Ilorin and Gusau. Is it impossible to have peaceful protests without casualties? Yes. Why do we have casualties during Nigerian protests? There you have it. It is intentional and premeditated.

You need to share this information with as many people as you know. This is the truth and nothing but the truth. Now that this information is out, we will make it difficult for them to go ahead with the planned killing(s) tomorrow. If they go ahead even after this, you can fairly conclude that your government has declared a war on you.

Please share! Thank God this information got out. Please never go to a protest without your cameras. Ensure that there are people at very good positions to take video recordings. It will help to convict the prospective murder(s).

If you ever wondered why your president remains mute about these protests and deaths, this is it.

we will not tire, we will not falter, we will not fail!
