Time and time again people have been killed in the name of Islam.

Thats means nothing! Moslems dying is collateral damage to them. They were targeting areas to show force. Do you think they can tell who is a christian or muslim in these places they targeted? One thing he can do is to spend an hour reading Nigeria's history, another 2 hours going to Kano, Ijebu Ode, and Aba, and encouraging us to do what is the obvious choice that the whole world continues to laugh at us for not yet doing (after 40 years or so).
Go back to the regions of the North, West, Midwest, and East.

Whatever you think or say doesn't change the fact that Islam does not stand for this. It is very clear. Allah will surely disown whoever is carrying this out in His name. The criminals are well aware of this. Even if they are doing this in ignorance, they will still be punished. Ignorance is not an excuse in Islam. There are evidences for these.

In my opinion, seeing the Boko Haram threat as religious-based or ethnic-based is the lazy approach to this. Did those guys who carried out the attack inquired about the background of their victims? Come to think of it, if someone really wants to kill Christians, why wouldn't the person take the fight to the south where there are a lot of Christians?
