I'm just curious, I know Nigerians take these things to heart. The story of meeting a partner is more glamorously fabricated than the love for the partner gan sef.

Especially for those that met thier partners at a bus stop or a night club, or other less glamorous places. lol!

I still dont get why peopler cant be honest with it, wouldnt that give single people hope that one can meet his/her other half anywhere?

Anyways I will like to meet him in church or a matured birthday of a 30 something years old man/woman or at singles meeting or at the supermarket(probably some of my possessions fell down n he picked them up for me) or at a classy/fancy restaurant or company's end of the year party or at my pastor's house or in the train/bus or at work or at school. As for online encounters, I reserve my comment

I think everyone is always proud to reveal where they met their partner on their wedding website or at the wedding. But they are always too shy/embarrassed/shallow/proud to admit they met online or through hookups/fix-up/arrangee, so they make up some fairytale that is obviously not true just as to avoid criticism/bad comments or so as to give them some credit.
