As free-willed being created by God, everyone should be free to accept and practice their faith without any fear of intimidation.
If the Kuwaiti prince accepts and believes in Jesus Christ, that should be his personal choice.

He should not be threaten, but I trust our moslem brothers, they will be looking for his death soonest or even a fatwa is already placed on his head - so much for a religion of peace.

The last time I checked - Islam means 'servant of Allah' and not peace.

In Ninety-Five percent of regions or countries where there are conflicts today, there is a certain number of moslems involved - so much for a religion of peace.

Did a Kuwaiti prince embrace Christianity? Video prompts dispute

A Christian television station broadcasting in the Arabic world has aired a statement by a man identified as a Kuwaiti prince, proclaiming his faith in Jesus Christ.

The videotaped statement quotes Abdullah al Sabah as declaring that he is a Christian. Regarding Islam's prohibition against religious conversions, he says that "if they kill me because of it, then I will appear before Jesus Christ and be with Him for all eternity."

The government of Kuwait said that the video is a fraud, and pointed out that there is no one named Abdullah al Sabah in the Kuwaiti royal family.

A Kuwaiti prince was on Thursday sentenced to death for the murder of another prince, a Kuwaiti online news portal reported.

The Criminal Court found Shaikh Faisal Al Abdullah Al Sabah guilty of the murder of his nephew Shaikh Basil Salem Sabah Al Salem Al Sabah and ordered his execution, Al Aan said.

According to Kuwaiti media, Shaikh Faisal who works as a captain in the Kuwaiti army had gone in June 2010 to visit Shaikh Basil at the Maseelah palace owned by the late Emir. The two princes were sitting together with other people, when the alleged killer told his nephew that he wanted to speak with him in private.

The two princes left the main room and, seconds later, guests heard shots. Upon entering the room, they found Shaikh Basil wounded and promptly took him to Mubarak Al Kabeer Hospital where he was declared dead.

Medical staff said that the prince had been shot several times at close range, according to reports. The police arrested the alleged killer and started an investigation into the case.

Shaikh Basil, 52, is the grandson of Kuwait's 12th Emir, Shaikh Sabah Al Salem Al Sabah, who ruled from November 24, 1965 until December 31, 1977, and the eldest son of Shaikh Salem Sabah Al Salem Al Sabah and Shaikha Badriya Abdullah Al Jaber Al Sabah.

His father was Kuwait's ambassador to the United States, Canada and Venezuela from 1970 until 1975. He then held the portfolios of social affairs and labour, interior, defence and foreign affairs until 2001 when he gave up political work on health grounds.

The Kuwaiti authorities had ruled out any political motives behind the murder as Shaikh Basil did not hold an official position with the government.

My happiness has not been ruined thank you very much.

Since I do not recognise your god, all your curses are meaningless and of no consequence.

And yes I hate radical Islam but I do not hate Muslims since in practise not all of them subscribe to your violent tendencies.

Besides , the origin of this news is a valid Catholic blog. Have you heard that saying, 'there is no smoke without fire' ?

One would have thought he was your relative the way you guys are falling over each other in the dishing out of abuse and curses.

Ignoramuses leaving dumb and silly comments. You all failed to stand up to issues that affect you when it mattered most. You're all shamelessly displaying your ignorance on the religions you are stupidly advocating for OR criticizing while less than 0.1% of the population are feeding fat on your common wealth. Most of you are just dogmatic in your beliefs.
Inspite of the record breaking number of churches and mosques in our God forsaken country, we are still one of the most corrupt nations of the world, we've utmost disregard for human life.
If you disrespct yourself this much online, one wonders what you'll do to yourself if you see each other live, and yet you are brandishing your religion as the best, WHAT ARE YOU LEARNING FROM YOUR CHURCHES AND MOSQUES? How are you guys any different from BH thugs? The fact that you are ignorant of other people's religion does not make it unacceptable, do not judge others.
What baffles me is, all of our corrupt leaders are either christians or muslims, has the teachings of these religions reflected in their actions?
GEJ goes to church every Sunday, Sambo's prays 5 times daily, at least his forehead is marked from touching the floor while praying, he attends Hajj every year, aren't all these the height of hypocricy?
You all should continue the 'internet tiger' and 'comment lion" and wait for how much it will help Nigeria in her present predicaments. Mschew!!!

Some facts i knw.
1. Christianity has been way back before islam.
2. d bible has been that old too.
3. Somebody got d bible in bits and hid in a cave to rewrite it.
**i mean someone with some kind of a weird life, i say he's frustrated.
4. I think while he was there he also learnt arabic but claimed his lips were touched by allah and he suddenly understood arabic. Well?
5. I think he succeed by using sword to establish his religion and he called d revised sub-standard bible a quran.
One this i knw, tomb of Jesus, nations in d bible, river of jordan, king of persia, country of ethopia, land of isreal, d philistines, rome and all other monuments are all there to prove d bible. Is someone is so sensible, then one should ask, what is d quran?
