American investors have a pure undiluted Capitalist mentality about everything in comparison to the ideology behind football and fandom especially in a more socialist/ mixed leaning economy like the UK.

I think this aspect is an indictment on the Greater Manchester Police not entirely on the Glazers. The Police (GMP) had credible intelligence report that there is a planned protest of this magnitude yet they did not provide any cover. Infact it took hours before we started seeing police officers.
