We certainly need more than one central midfield signing. So yes I would like both if affordable. Say we sign both for under £45 mill, let Ando go and move forward with Bastien, Modric, Tom C, Carrick. Retain Fletcher if he can recover, if not get another young energetic central midfielder or promote Tunnicliffe/Pogba or both if ready. Giggs will provide depth if necessary, since his contract has already been renewed.

Imo it has to be 2 midfielders. I dont believe Bastian is a realistic option. I cant imagine he'll ever want to leave Bayern.

But yes a player in that bastian mould would be preferrable as I can bet SAF will on buy one midfielder. Would love Hazard and probably love Modric abit more.
