But one can't really say exactly these days given that city and PSG paid 42 and 50 for calamities like Mangala and Luiz respectively. Guys, its now pretty obvious that no 'top' player would be tempted to sign for a club that will finish 10th in the league, without European football next season. The only players from the top clubs on the continent that would be signed on would be those that are deemed "surplus to requirements". The likes of Witsel, Pogba, Kante, etc would rather prefer to compete in the UCL next season.

I dare say Conte would (FINALLY) have no choice but to promote some of the excellent U-21 players into the first team.
