Though i may not be a fan of the worst governor of CBN, in this scenerio, though he has part of the blame, he may not have known that his speech writer "copied/stole " an intellectual property. In the first place his speech writer should be a professional, but I guess he must have appointed one aboki from...... Infact this serves him right.....
He should dance to the music he has played.

naijaking1: Oh no, what a baseless defence? He was almost better of keep ing his silly mouth shot. Oh, yes the devil me do it? From Obama to Joe Biden, to corporate and professional CEOs, who would think our own CBN governor would shift blame for plagiarism on some faceless junior staff? Where is your accountability Mr. Sanusi? When you were at that ceremony delivaring a message you did not author and which you now claim not to know who authored, you surely enjoyed the big accolade, and complishments you'd recieved from delivaring a stolen academic work? How sick?

Mr. Oga, some people were employed and paid fat salaries to develop contents for any material, oral or written, that is going to be used in any way by the CBN governor, and even other staff.
SLS has more on his plate than to spend time checking the originality of a speech he may be reading for the first time at that podium.
It's the responsibility of the person paid to do the job. So when the professor drags SLS, SLS must automatically question the person who developed the content. This is not laying the blame on a junior staff (and I am sure the Corporate Communications person is not on the list of junior staff); it is accountability.

Yinkay: Hungary president recently resigned on related allegation of plagiarism but trust Naija bigmen, he will rather shift the blame.Who recieved the ovation when the paper was delivered?

We should stop calling a dog a bad name just because we want to hang it. It's not about who received the ovation; it's about who wrote the speech. If the person had cited his sources and the governor didn't acknowledge it, then SLS will be totally wrong.
If you got an "A" in your exams because you quoted extensively from a textbook you bought from a lecturer, then another lecturer stumbles on your script, saw his work wrongly cited, who gets the blame? You who got the A or your lecturer who sold plagiarised book to you?
