Unlike some of the descendants of ancient Egypt (most of whom can be found today
further down the nile valley in present day sudan, Kenya and the HOA)
there are still Cushitic/Nubian peoples who still live in the upper Egypt
areas and still carry on the traditions of their ancestors.

Regal Ancient Egyptian music in the Nubian language.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iK4oDi2bEYk

It is unknown to many that the descendants of Ancient Egypt to this day carry along with them their culture, languages, religions, and music.

Naturally such people will be ignored by so called "anthropologists" lol.
For they'd expose what we already know wink and they don't want that..esp. not that Hawass character.

LOL!!!

a white caller says that they discovered back in the day that inside the Sphinx of Giza
there is the statue of a black man inside...

the radio host says: NOW LET'S DEFINE BLACK grin grin grin

he goes on to say that he "heard" Egyptians were "dark Caucasians" grin grin grin

and the other white guy was like: no...he was a black man grin

looool.

it's common sense...there is no race with such protruding jawline like that but blacks (those who fall under e1b1a) except for the Polynesians and some native americans - NEITHER OF WHOM had anything to do with Egypt.

I know she is female but check out her profile side ways.

According to Wikipedia

Despite conflicting evidence and viewpoints over the years, the view held by modern Egyptology at large remains that the Great Sphinx was built in approximately 2500 BC by the pharaoh Khafra, the builder of the Second Pyramid at Giza...

Can anyone...
show me any ancient white or Asiatic person with the names Khaf, Sneferu, Khafre or Khufu please grin grin grin grin

^^check ur inbox.

@topic: considering the nile is the only river that flows "upward"...this explains why their concept of north and south was different from what we accept to be north and south today.

hence why upper Egypt is in the south, and lower Egypt Is in the north.

in the eyes of the ancient Egyptian this would be the true shape of Africa:

now many eurocentrics would claim this proves Asiatic/meditteranean people started Egypt because they ventured inward and did not go too far in. FALSE.

For one thing back then the Saharan desert resembled tropical Africa. Second according to the papyrus Hunefer it states: we came from the beginning of the nile where god hapi dwells at the foothills of the mountains of the moon. wink

this means that they FOLLOWED the beginning of the nile on downward (upward by our standards today). wink wink
Re: What Is The Race Of The Ancient Egyptians by Nobody: 7:37pm On Aug 18, 2013
smh...

@topic:

my guess is that their beginning was present day Khartoum in Sudan.

another possibility would be in Ethiopia.
Personally I think Lake Victoria is out of the question but hey I could be wrong.

Masai are considered Nilotic because of the language they speak. You are right though that the Afar are Cushitic and may have picked up certain cultural elements from neighbouring peoples because they are nomads

some masai clans are actually more cushitic while others are more nilotic and their languages/dialects reflect that. in fact some linguists still have trouble properly categorizing their language to this day.

@bold that is a possibility.

Oh, that's interesting, I thought that all Masai spoke similar languages/dialects
Re: What Is The Race Of The Ancient Egyptians by Nobody: 3:20pm On Sep 29, 2013
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maasai_people#Culture

Many ethnic groups that had already formed settlements in the region were forcibly displaced by the incoming Maasai,[11] while other, mainly southern Cushitic groups, were assimilated into Maasai society. The resulting mixture of Nilotic and Cushitic populations also produced the Kalenjin and Samburu

as well as the rendille people!!

The Maasai's autosomal DNA has been examined in a comprehensive study by Tishkoff et al. (2009) on the genetic affiliations of various populations in Africa. According to the study's authors, the Maasai "have maintained their culture in the face of extensive genetic introgression".[25] Tishkoff et al. also indicate that: "Many Nilo-Saharan-speaking populations in East Africa, such as the Maasai, show multiple cluster assignments from the Nilo-Saharan (red) and Cushitic (dark purple) AACs, in accord with linguistic evidence of repeated Nilotic assimilation of Cushites over the past 3000 years and with the high frequency of a shared East African–specific mutation associated with lactose tolerance."[25]
Y DNA[edit]

A Y-chromosome study by Wood et al. (2005) tested various Sub-Saharan populations, including 26 Maasai males from Kenya, for paternal lineages. The authors observed the E1b1b haplogroup in 50% of the studied Maasai,[26] which is indicative of substantial gene flow from more northerly Cushitic males, who possess the haplogroup at high frequencies.[27] The second most frequent paternal lineage among the Maasai was Haplogroup A3b2, which is commonly found in Nilotic populations, such as the Alur;[26][28] it was observed in 27% of Maasai males. The third most frequently observed paternal DNA marker in the Maasai was the E1b1a haplogroup (E-P1), which is very common in the Sub-Saharan region; it was found in 12% of the Maasai samples. The Haplogroup B was also observed in 8% of the studied Maasai,[26] which is also found in 30% (16/53) of Southern Sudanese Nilotes.

fulaman you are right the masai speak Maa. (nilo saharan)

The rendille were the ones with the mixed dialect.

Rendille (also known as Rendile, Randile) is an Afro-Asiatic language spoken by the Rendille people inhabiting northern Kenya. It is part of the family's Cushitic branch.[2]

The Ariaal sub-group of the Rendille, who are of mixed Nilotic and Cushitic descent, speak the Nilo-Saharan Samburu language of the Samburu Nilotes with whom they cohabit

The best person to speak to would be Ahmed Said Abu Amna, he is a Bedawi historian and he has an amazing musical talent.

I have heard one Eritrean guy claiming that 90% of Eritreans have a Bedawi origin.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proto-Semitic_language

Proto-Semitic is the hypothetical proto-language ancestral to historical Semitic languages of the Middle East. Locations which have been proposed for its origination include northern Mesopotamia, the Arabian Peninsula, and the Levant with a 2009 study proposing that it may have originated around 3750 BCE.[1] The Semitic language family is considered a component of the larger Afroasiatic macro-family of languages.
