1forall: Idiotic Governor who did nothing but talked to the MD on the phone, hey Mr Governor, the right thing to do was to have warned the appropriate authorities, not the company. All kinds of leaders are bad. Instead of the brainless governor alert the authority to get things done. But do we have any authority like that in good for nothing nation? |

People should stop joining issues and deal with the right offices. A warning from a governor to an MD (not houseboy) of a company is ample! Dana should face the wrath of their madness. Akpabio is not dana technical supervisor but a governor of a state. The aviation industry heard about the incident but did nothing cos if they did, the same plane and the warning would have ensured the plane did not fly ever again. This is the reason Fashola is advocating for state police cos all this federal nonsense doesn't work. 1 Like |

He talks like a child in primary school.That is a governor they say is performing in Akwa Ibom.Careless noise maker who specialises in telling lies.I wonder why he didnt tell the officials of NACA to "come and see"the operational services of Dana.He says he approaches development with anger.Why did he not approach Dana with anger on issues that bother on operational deficiences.We are reliably informed that he chartered Dana aircraft for four days during the SUN Man of the yeear award and i believe that time he did not see anything wrong with the operational services of Dana.If somebody has no reasonable thing to say at this time the best is to shut up.If he wants to donate as usual to show the world that he is doing well,let him go ahead |

The question is; he knew abt the plane faulty engine and all he could do as a gov was to call the director of the coy instead of the aviation authority? Peeps should lay off the Governor abeg. The airplane developed a fault, hence circled for sometime before finally being able to land safely. So is anyone trying to tell me the relevant supervisory agencies weren't aware of this major incident, and the matter logged and investigated as should be the case? If this didn't happen, then i'm afraid our problems are deeper than we can even begin to imagine. The fact he contacted the MD of Dana to caution him showed his proactive stand on the issue, and if anyone is to be blamed it's the muthafucker supervisory body responsible that didn't follow up as they should. He can't do his job and theirs as well. |

I'm just waiting for when una will pass the blame to the real culprit and that is the aviation. If there was a problem with their airplane, they shouldn't have used it. Help me tell those here that just want to display their low IQ's. There was a newspaper article I read; it was an interview with an aviation insider. It basically said that aviation CEO's instruct pilots not to write faults in the logs, but to do so on scraps of paper. This is so that engineers are always faced with clean log files and the planes can continue flying (and making money) till they drop out of the sky. Is that Akpabio's fault? What needs to be done now is to invite that pilot to name names. |

Nobody is blaming the governor for the crash. I'm of the opinion that his warning was of no consequence and that he should not be telling us that crap. He should have warned the appropriate authority by lodging an official complaint and when you do lodge an official complaint usually by registered mail (the governor should have known this) then there will be an official response!
