The Italian consulate are not diligent and accurate on sharing information with application. I got to the consulate yesterday, only to be told that I need to pay visa fee at the point of submitting my application How about someone who doesn't have such amount at the moment?

Anybody going for his/her visa interview today should pls update the house.

A naija student over there already told me he didn't do any insurance. He didn't submit that.
If you carefully read the line where insurance was included, you would notice it isn't compulsory. (See my next post)
Foreign insurance is for people who aren't entitled to insurance in italy. But as a student you are entitled to one. you are going to be a resident so u can get one.
Also check your school's website. I'm sure you would confirm this.
You can get it in Italy. Foreign company insurance is optional.

Hello house, thanks for the urgent replies. I just tried printing an appointment I booked for August 5, 2016 since july 1, 2016 and to my surprise it has been cancelled by the Consolato. I really don't know why and what exactly to do now as all the dates for August are filled up. Pls help...what can I do. Thanks

fine ya way too lag oo.. embassy u can meet those guys around or better still the security guys to help u.. they have booked it and will sell them 10k ooo. bear that in mind. . if u dont have any options den move there..

What class of VISA?
If it is class D, you can enter France with it
If you fly Airfrance, that is another possibility

I was at the vfs last week friday to pick up my passport from the spain collection centre but I was surprise to see that I was not granted..their reason was that they re not sure of my returning bak after my visit.....

It's a pity, staff at the Italian consulate in Lagos are so inconsistent. You won't get clear information about their processing, they won't give adequate information, and sometimes misleading information. You will hear different version of information from the lady who receives calls for them, different one via email and different one via online sometimes. I hope these people change for good.

If you intend going for an international programme which gives you international qualification ( i.e European Bachelor's degree Prog) in Italy; you don't need pre-enrolment. If you fall into this category, please signify here. It seems most students here are going to public universities which requires pre-enrolment.

Well, they didn't ask for the DOV during submission.

those that have gone for visa application, please give us info how it went oh. Should the visa form be filled by hand or typed? And were you able to submit without DOV?
