The bolded is also one more reason you should apologize in addition to others, but that'll be much later. For now pls concentrate on your lo getting better.
Don't be so confident hubby is on your side cos such families know how to sway one another's mind & manipulate things their way and before you know it, he's speaking a different language.

Apology won't take anything away from you, it'll rather put an end to a seriously looming crisis.
Also next time, try to carry your baby bumper to bumper especially when you see things you don't appreciate.

My question arose because I kept reading about using iron fortified formula for babies and looking through various brands, I found it difficult to make a choice.

Alphahandmaiden, does that mean that when giving formulas that lack certain ingredients e.g. iron, the mother can supplement by giving multivitamin that contains iron to the baby?

I would be very surprised if formular did not contain iron and the usual vitamins/mineral. Such as calcium, zinc, iodine, magnesium, vitamins A, B, C, D, E & K and the like.

Some higher end brands tend to have other specialist formulations that they claim makes it superior or better than your usual formular it is very much like pregnacare, pregancare max and all the other pregnacare suffixes.... with every suffux is a price increase. It doesnt mean if you take the normal pregnacare your baby will come out with 2 heads and 3 eyes.

The difference may just be an additional ingredient or higher doses of the same basic ingredients so if aptamil for instance has 33% of your daily dose of riboflavin per serving, and sma only has 16% in it at half the price, if you cannot afford aptamil, you can buy sma and top up with multivitamins if you wish.

It is by no means saying sma is an inferior product because they are at least providing your daily minimum requirements. Anything on top of that is a bonus.

Fry my eggs sunny side, sprinkle some flaked pepper and salt, fresh tomato, onions , lettuce etc/ avocado toast with salt and pepper and lettuce/ make a sort of grilled cheese sandwich

Stir fry mixed vegies with shredded beef /chicken, prawns or whatever protein that catches my fancy.

You nailed it @ feddy27. I wouldn't apologise for any reason whatsoever. After putting my baby's health in jeopardy then i should say sorry...nada! Would have even gotten her arrested sef. She is 47 years old for pete's sake not 4 or 7. TTC is no excuse for endangering a newborn.

I usually have that sensation and the pouring out ish so I use a breasst pad and my breast towel to wedge it when am outside.

I count it all as blessings cuz it means my baby is feeding so well only on my breast milk.

These are signs of teething and ur baby is not too young to teeth. my sons first two teeth came out when he was 15weeks old so don't understand what that ur Dr is saying. He had all these signs except stooling. No need to panic and don't give any drug. She will get her appetite back.

thanks mama. the stopping has reduced but signs of teething still there. she weighed 5kg at 10wks but today been her 14wks immunization she weighed 5.45kg.
I know her weight will come back in no time.
