If you're shopping from www.grocerydirect.mallforafrica.com it's free shipping. But there's a $5 convenience fee.
So even if you're ordering for 10 items, the only extra cash you'll pay is the $5 convenience fee.

Size 4 plus is fine. That's what I got.

Size 4 plus has more absorbency and it's 78 diapers inside
Size 4 I guess is normal absorbency with more diapers. Both are the same price
But my son is 8 months. Weighed him last 2 months ago and he was 9.3kg then

The app is fine for clothes. The link is for grocery direct/fashion direct. If you want to order from a particular store use the app.
wholesomegrace:

Ya, thanks. I've done that but I need to start learning how to order things from outside naija, thats was also why i asked if i am to use the app or the link. I have already downloaded the app but will use the link to check the difference.

No vex abeg. I wanted to reply you yesterday when I asked for LOs age then I forgot. Glad you figured it out, only thing I want to say is, try again with a spoon when he's older (5.5 to 6 months) so he doesn't reject spoon completely and become like my friend's daughter that is still sucking only bottle at 18 months grin grin grin

Giddyperson:

Thanks a lot.

More on hair combing. These days I comb my baby's hair straight out of the bath and still dripping wet, you can apply the hair oil or anything you use on the wet hair. She hardly seems to notice and would just babble away while I'm at it, meanwhile it used to be a screaming battle before. Make sure you are using the right toothed comb for her hair length and texture to avoid unnecessary pain. You can gently pat it down with a towel to dry after combing.

Will try this method as well. As for the comb, I use plastic.. The screaming battle no be hear..lol

Yes, they should call it by right name. I'm going through to start saying "vagina" and "penis" very soon.

What is your aim in teaching Sex Ed to the boy, because that's important.

Are you teaching him not to get anyone pregnant or to respect his body (men don't have to sleep around for them to be men).

Do you understand how well his body is changing and what his friends could be saying?

Is there a man he likes or looks up to that you can say "look at him, have you seen how he dresses well, smells nice, he's polite but doesn't expose his body or chase girls, isn't that nice, don't you wanna be like that?".

Are you comfortable discussing wet dreams and saying "it's okay that your body responds like that, what is not okay is how your mind reacts".

Can you say "it's okay to say a girl is pretty, but be polite and don't force her if she doesn't want your attentions and sleeping with her or making her touch your body isn't the best way to prove she likes you, no need for her to show you naked pictures of herself".

Can you say "your friends will tell you it's manly to have a girl touch you or you to touch yourself. If you touch yourself, perhaps you were exploring but don't do it often because you may get used to that feeling and keep doing it until you ignore all the other good things in life" and also joke and say "they used to tell us when we were little that if we touch ourselves, hair will grow on our palms and they will catch us!"

Can you say "pornography is very bad and those people are not really enjoying themselves, they're paid and it is degrading and can mess your life up, you should avoid it". And calmly ask if his friends have shown him any sex videos and not react if they have?

After all this, can you say "Hey let's see what the Bible says about this" and read the Bible chapters, not verses, but chapters together? And don't make it too religious, don't expect a sense of will most people don't have at that age?

Are these enough guidelines for a conversation?

Thank you sooo much.
His practically my son and I want him to be guided correctly.
Im very paranoid .
Hubby has some boys that work for him, that's the reason I didnt want a girl leaving with us.
I made sure he has own room(i do sleep in his room sometimes) doesnt really mingle with them and all that and I think he practically tells me everything .
I don't want him getting info from the wrong source.
Phew!!! I need to get this right

@ Giddyperson, I've remember writing ICAN with a 7 months old pregnancy and it was my best result. I also wrote an exam with a 2 weeks old baby. My mom couldn't come for Omugwo because I lost my dad a month before. I was EBF. DH begged me not to but I was determined and I had the best result.
I'm telling you this because sometimes we bring out the best in us when we seem to be limited. Your brain fxns at its maximum capacity and you maximize your time. Plan out your schedule and be determined. Challenge yourself and believe you can do it.

Tips on combing baby's hair: my baby has long curly hair. What I do is wash/wet the hair, apply cream/oil and use the baby brush to brush it out. The brush kind of detangles it then I comb.

If you always struggling with diaper rash, ditch those Vaseline, sudocrem and the rest. Use cheap and effective coconut oil. After cleaning your baby or at every diaper change, dry the area and use a cotton wool to apply coconut oil on the nappy area. Sometimes I just pour and use my fingers to apply. No business with rashes.

I also use coconut oil for my Tips. No need to wash it off cause it's natural and prevents and treat thrush cause it's anti fungal.

myrygurl,

whether plastic or wooden, once it is a wide toothed comb with rounded ends, it will work fine because it will pass through the hair gently and easily.

in addition to what giddyperson wrote, start from the back and comb the hair tips first.

blocked nose treatment for babies is usually drops of eucalyptus oil around sleeping area or do a steam bath.

Happy Saturday everybody! Trust we are all good? To those who got some kpekus, how una dey? To we who didn't get tonight is another opportunity to try lolwink

I thought of something this morning and felt we could all discuss it! I've recently* developed a habit of inflating bills for hubby and sometimes "embezzling" the said monies! I do it sometimes because I need extra cash which I don't want to ask for and sometimes just for the fun of it and because he's my Husband!

Anyway I got busted and he involved some third parties who of course really scandalized the whole matter and I really was embarrassed and it seemed like it was a totally unheard of thing ie for a wife to chop her husband's money!

I always felt if caught it would be settled under the "I'm your wife -diplomatic immunity"!

What are your thoughts? Was it sooooooo bad of me?

Tried it with my hubby. E no work. The man just said if you need extra, just ask and I'll give it to you.

In your case, I guess you should have told him as some men prefer you tell them.

When my husband complains when I ask for more money, I simply tell him that I'd be glad to write down the list so he can go to the market and do the shopping himself or I simply tell him how much the items are.
