MojAyo are you not the nurse lady? ORS is administered with zinc. Just buy a big eva water and a sachet of ORS then pour in the water n give to your baby. Betterstill talk to ur pead pls.

my brother tnx 4 asking.. he's fine but still stooling he's not dehydrated tho. & as active as ever just occasionally fussy.
still refusing cereals and meds. I usually force d drugs down ni o. I noticed he's teething tho- felt it wen I put my finger in his mouth. if it's teething causing d stool, how long will it take b4 it stops?

...give her formula .....#i wish i listened to this advice three years ago.

My own challenge is that my son throws up alot. He cries, he laughs, he jumps, he runs, he throws out every thing in his stomach.

i have been to several hospitals, children's hospitals, seen several peds, done several scans, xrays, uncountable antibiotics/malaria meds...

Yet i still deal with this. And yes he is very lanky and active. When this started, people encouraged that he would out grow this. But after 3 years ...we are still here. Although i am hopeful that this will come to pass. He threw up all though the night. Slimy greenish saliva with so much force.


After praying for him this morning... I feel i should vent here.

Pls see a Gd pediatrician, I recommend premier specialist hospital if you can afford it. Infant gaviscon is usually prescribed for the milder cases. Your son's own doesn't sound mild though.

I don't know how long o. My son didn't stool but ran mild temp in d first phase of teething. Be given him ORS/enough fluid would do. Was told that attempting to control d stooling of a teething baby isn't good.
Don't worry, only first phase s usually 'tedious'. Subsequent ones would b mild.
It is well with OUR LOs. God's healing power will b on LOs going through development/growth processes of any sort. Fear not, because all is well.

hello,ORS is different frm ordinary water,ORS makes up frm what the body loose due to diarrhea or vomiting,while water can't make up for dat,so try to force ur baby to take some when he or she is stooling,bye

Vick, like mojayo has said, try n get him to take some ORS. He nids to replace some of d lost fluid frm d body. Tis well. Laroyal highness it is well wit ur baby.

if ur baby s having diarhoea, then pls gv ors and zinc. dont wait till dehydration sets in first. did u gv rotavirus vaccine?

its actually 1 satchet of ORS to 1litre of water. 1 big eva is 1.5litres, so u ll need to reduce d water to abt d upper label on d bottle.

i think its normal. as ur womb, contracts and goes bk to its pre preggy state, u may b having lil drops and even some vague pain in ur tummy.U cld still talk to ur dr tho to rule out any problems
