Good day mothers in the house. Pls my 3weeks old baby has this soft spot in the middle of his head. I know about the front and back soft spot but this one in the middle is getting me worried.My mum said his head is open and the baby is reducing in weight despite his huge appetite for food. Doc wt of babies dt don't tolerate ds milk,I really want 2 give my tod of 20 mnths ds milk bt he stools seriously,I changed frm peak 123 to cow nd gate 123 bt d stooling increased,I ws asked 2 stop nd d stooling stopped.I give him Dano adult milk now wt no prob.any advise?

Yes u can..i started giving my LO guinea corn pap with infant milk from 3months...though i usually make it myself...mix guinea corn,beans,dried plantain and fish together..grind,sieve and keep it at home..and she is so healthy and strong.

...firstly,u av to wash all ingredient stated earlier throughly wit water... bt u wont add water wen going to grind it,water will be added at d mill..it will come out in form of paste..u'll use water to sieve it to remove d unwanted nd get d pap..den u'll need to change d water on d pap everyday...

den wen cooking..u boil water in a pot...mix pap wit little water and cook for 15 minutes on fire wit moderate turning to prevent it from forming balls..

Btw, you stay in Ado, do you know where I can get heinz baby food for my LO? she's currently on cerelac wheat with milk, fortified pap and nan2, boiled fish, egg yolk... she takes anything I give her though but I just want to introduce more food to her.

I don't think babies can have dandruff. It is called cradle cap. What I did for my LO was, pour olive oil on his head, wait 5-10 mins and comb out with a fine tooth comb.

There is a special shampoo for it though.

For about four days now the babies changed. Their poo changed, they were running temp on the head at night, they were not feeding well, and had cough and catarrh. I gave them syrups for the cough and cold, and pcm for d high temp.

I was already thinking of taking them to the hospital iF no improvement, then yesterday night twin boy brought my finger and bit me and that's when I felt it. Teeth!!! I checked and saw two rising teeth! I died and rose again out of excitement but at d back of my mind I was like *my niipple go hear am from now on. I quickly dipped my hand into twin girl's mouth to check hers too. No teethed but her gums were swollen and hot. I felt sorry for her. So I've been putting napkins in the fridge for them to chew on to ease the pains of teething. Ill watch closely today and tomoro and decide whether to still take them.
