Nigerians are not entrepreneurs. They are mainly copy cats who copy others businesses because they think it will profit them too.

An entrepreneur is an innovator, a problem solver. An entrepreneur scans the environment, identifies a problem that is yet to be solved and creates a business to provide the solution to the problem. An entrepreneur seeks better ways to do things by adding value to an existing product.

It is not by jumping into any business that we see others doing that we become entrepreneurs. It is by studying the market to see what problems are yet to be solved and how to solve them. For example, someone brought up the idea of how to package water. Adding value to an existing product.Packaged water is the product of an entrepreneurial mind. In some communities in Nigeria, there is no light at all in any form. What can you do as an entrepreneur to create a product that will address this issue for the residents in some way?

A Nigerian engineer created a phone charger which conserves energy for 30 days and can charge 4 mobile phones. The Phone charger itself is recharged once in 30 days. this is the product of an entrepreneurial mind.

Somebody starts a provision store. The next day, everyone in that locality will open a provision store. That is not the way to do business in this age.
There are needs to be filled and problems in the environment to solve.

There are some major reasons describes that investing in real estate is one of the best way to accumulate wealth.

1- The best strategy to make money in this field would be to invest in upcoming cities.

2- Rental properties normally appreciate in value with inflation.Increased value can mean sale and reinvestment in higher value properties, or provide an equity line of credit to use for other investments.

3- In real estate if you make a good deal then you can end up with 10-35% instant equity.

4- You reduce your mortgage and increase your equity with every mortgage payment made on underlying debt.

Quail Farming,quick Cash:

Quail farming is an uncommon farming business in Nigeria, but the few people that have embraced it are not only smiling to banks, they are also enjoying both the nutritional and health values derived from consuming it
Considering the large number of poultry farmers in Kaduna that have embraced quail farming, it is no doubt one booming farming business that is gradually taking over chicken poultry business in most parts of the north. The high rate of returns and low cost of investment as well rearing them are some of the reasons many farmers are fast resorting to quail farming. In Zaria alone, there are more than 50 farms where quail are reared and sold. The fact that the birds grow and reach maturity stage faster and lay eggs within two months, compared with the six-month maturity period of chickens for whether egg-laying or consumption, attract them to farmers who see the business as a better and more sustainable investment to explore.
From market surveys both in Zaria and Kaduna, a female quail bird sells for N500 while the male goes for between N250 and N300. Its speckled eggs go for between N20 and N25. The bird’s high nutritional and market value encourage many chicken poultry farmers to abandon the business for quail farming. The NEWS gathered that these financial and health benefits, especially the high and quick returns on investment, largely explained farmers’ rush into the business in Jos where it first started, and in Kano, Kaduna and other states in the north where it is booming now. But it is very difficult for people in the southwest who wish to go into quail farming due to the problem of getting quail chicks for starting. Good news the problem has now been solved because you can easily get it now in Ibadan. I started the business just three months ago but glory be to God I earn nothing less than 2000 Naira every day.

This is so beautiful to read now! Wonderful!

Seun:
Well, I find it difficult to call myself an entrepreneur because I have hardly any possessions that are not work-related, the place from which I work is not even mine, et cetera. I'm still a struggle-preneur!

I believe that the web is the best and most cost-effective platform for a technology-based business, and for some time I've been in a personal race to try to really understand and start exploiting this platform (the Internet) before others people wake up to its potential!

My cause is helped by the fact that my current 'competitors' are not as aggressive as I am: the Nigerians that actually have the resources to make a difference do not see much value in the web, and the solopreneurs with website development skills are relatively inexperienced in business. This gives me a little more time to get my act together, which I'm grateful for.

But the lack of any reasonable 'working capital' or 'budget' does not help me at all, and I have certain 'principles' that tend to deny me of opportunities. But at the end it would be worth it by the time I'm running a billion-dollar business and I own 75%-100% of the company instead of the 5%-15% that I would own if I had been able to get people to invest big in my vision!
