hi people...I tried to flash the camera hack for galaxy captivate through CWM so as to use power button to snap photos but since then my camera has been force closing. how can I revert or undo the process.

@symbian123,go to settings>application and tick the box that says unknown application or source. then install the file.
BTW, what are you doing with a version 1.5? its as good as having a symbian phone

leo......have done all that...kips saying d same tin.....hw do I upgrade it to 2.1? I also heard it needs to be rooted first.

then it means that all the apps you are trying to install are made for android versions higher than 1.5. that's going to be very limited. search specifically for version 1.5 apps. don't have any idea about its upgrade

I've finally been able to root the Xperia S LT26i on ICS.

Dis CM9 I just flashed is proving to be too buggy for my liking.

........and it has the most horrible start up screen animation of all the ROMs I've flashed so far.
Damn........I just have to look away anytime I want to reboot my fone.

look for anor bootanimation na and change it.
use root explorer or any root file explorer to.switch it. the file is in /system/media

or just remove boot ani entirely.
that one is just editing ur build.prop and adding a line in but i have to look in mine to check for.u as i cannot remember the exact line.

i really praise you guys and these cursive custom fonts. as much as they love-vendor up the phones, when it comes to actually doing stuff like editing docs, or reading text messages, twitter etc you understand why the default fonts are better. well sha una eyes still strong, emi ke!! font size 14 ni oooo
