nice topic, hope you wouldn't mind my narration: chasing a 2002 toyota avalon and a nissan maxima 2.5 whose egotistic drivers earlier on, thought blaring their horns behind me in an irritating manner on a bad ph/warri road would make me a pushover in my very sound '95 bmw 320i the avalon took me out from almost zero... on hitting a good stretch of the road. chased him ...even though he kept widening the gap up until 150km/h after which his family sedan got tired...he tried all he could with his hazard starting to blink at 160... (at this point the maxima had let off a bit) i pushed easily closing up to hit 190km/h taking him outta the way same time giving him my hazard as a polite way to pay back....trying not to be more than 5cars behind,he kept tryin to close in but couldn't do nil as he let off and with the road still silky smooth with a good view ahead, i cruised for a while to make sure this family car gets small in my rear view mirror before i restored some civility to the road... 59 Likes 4 Shares |

Emperoh: 200km/hr Benin - Asaba highway = 2002 Toyota Avalonemperor, u know the maximum speed of that avalon is 209km/h, how come i beat you in my 2.0 6cyl, yours is a 3.0 v6...at 200, you should begin to feel the aerodynamic drift, slight power loss cos its li mited to 209km/h my bmw is limited at 214km/h maxing out 250 |

I can't go beyond 140km/hr with a Japanese car. Simply, I don't feel safe. May be with a more heavier European car, I can ONLY test run up to 170km/hr. 3 Likes |

Fastest I've done is 140km/hr on the long bridge into Lagos, but my friend has taken my SUV up to 160km/hr on a good stretch of the Lagos-Ibadan Express way and I nearly crept under the seat  while seated beside him. I will usually never go beyond 110-120km/hr on the Lagos Ibadan-Expressway.3 Likes |

Yungboss....mehn ur story sounds scarry.that road is so freakin bad.a whooping 190km/hr!I carry ynash for u.well I was travellin with a family friend...a woman...from abuja to kaduna in a mercedes benz v boot when we overtook a bank's bullion van armed with security men.I then said to myself y is these people goin slow.it was at dat moment I turned and looked it the speedometer.mehn! She was almost hitting 200km/hr...sharply! Nine omo boy belt up and still hold the car seat very tight! 23 Likes |

Emperoh: 200km/hr Benin - Asaba highway = 2002 Toyota Avalon Wow. same constituency my bro. Mine was Asaba - Benin expressway. Felt like testing how good the speedometer indicator was. Toyota Corolla(not sure what year is that model that has double round headlamps). Turned on the AC to the max and revved up till slightly above 180km/hr. 3 other guys were cluelessly gisting in the car with no idea that I was zooming them to heaven. But one thing though, make sure you know the status of your car(i.e. everything is working well, of course you cant guarantee that anything wont go wrong), know where to try that kind of activity (definitely not on Sagamu - Ore road), know when to try that kind of activity (definitely not during and after rain), and know when to pull back(not when they are using axe to remove you from accidented vehicle. By then its too late, GOD FORBID). Love the feeling but I NO WAN DIE YET, so I rarely drive beyond 120km/h normally. 18 Likes 2 Shares |

Last year I drove 220km frm ikeja 2 island on top 3rd mainland bridge with my G Class 550, around 3 am . Although I waz tipsy Thank GOD nothing hAppened 2 me becos it waz such a big risk. 5 Likes |

110mph (177Kph) on the M1 at about 11pm on a clear, dry day with light traffic and 5 adults onboard. The car was ready to go all the way to 144mph (230kph) but my liver fail! Back in uni days, I was in a friends car and he floored his Corolla (180kph) on a downhill section between Ilishan and Shagamu in Ogun state, I was scared. I was in another friends car, a BMW 323 Ci and if I remember correctly, he reached 140mph on the A13 in Essex 1 Like |

I do 65 miles/hr on NC I-40 everyday going and coming from work. I have done 96 miles/per hour on I-85 in Roanoke, Virginia to connect I-95 towards New Jersey. But I was issued and punished with speeding ticket that cost me more than $600 with $250 for lawyer fees. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Done 200kmph twice. My 1st time was on M6 (Manchy to London) thank heaven those motorway police no catch me, I for land jail big time. The second time was on this newly constructed road between Ilorin-Ogbomosho with my 406. Men, that car is strong and very stable on road. 2 Likes |

160km wif ma honda civic 98 model,that baby could have sunk me in2 the ground mein bur the ride was incredible just staring at the dashboard then. I no fit try am now sha!!! That was a suicide move. |

160km/ph Deawoo lanos 2002 model on 3Rd mainland bridge in 2004. Was rushing from Airport to ikoyi on that saturday morning so as not to be cut up in the Environmental saturday. Left Airport 6.40am and environmental starts at 7.00am 150km/ph Scoda Octavia 2002 model on Lagos/Ibadan expressway in 2005.
