She's probably helping her relatives and uninformed people like you think Igbos are benefitting. Akpabio might also be helping his own relatives but you want him to help other Akwaibomites he doesn't know. The world doesn't work that way 7 Likes |
Politics / Re: Will Igbo Ppl Forgive Northers If They Take D Presidency by Abagworo(m): 10:30am On Feb 18 |
There is nothing like unanimous animosity among Igbos. We are individualistic in nature and treat matters individually. Igbos have nothing against Northerners or anyone other than individuals directly involved in killing of Nigerians no matter their tribes including Igbo ones. Igbos believe in "Egbe beru Ugo beru" or "Biri ka Mbiri". |

All these things are poisons. If you have dysfunction or you feel like you need something more turgid just go for Viagra, Levitra or Cialis. ED is very rare in Nigeria so most sellers of these "Manpowers" are patronized by teenagers and young adults trying to impress sxually |

longayink: Truth is that only people living in Orlu know these details and Governors have killed the local government system otherwise the LGA Chairmen if well funded are supposed to take care of those inner roads. I've transversed Orlu before but I didn't meet the bad roads because I don't know them and nothing led me to using them. Orlu is quite a developed town and all the villages around it are built up in a very large sprawl all the way to Mbano and Owerri. |

Cjrane2: It is you and others who think like you that have that feeling that someone not from Anambra cannot make known his sincere observation whether negative or positive about happenings in Anambra State. I have always observed the decay in Onitsha but somehow it was a problem for some people to tell their leaders the truth to the face and support the right thing instead of self denial. Soludo is indeed trying but the work load is much so he has to use local contractors with limited funds available. 2 Likes |

Obviously employed by APC to divert attention from the real issue to Igbos as usual. Anyone yet to see and acknowledge this is only but deceiving himself. Assuming Igbos were in control of currency market or even held a sizeable share there would have been an unanimous uprise accusing Ignos of sabotage. 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Sowore: The Revolution They Are Running From Is About To Happen by Abagworo(m): 8:52am On Feb 15 |
They started their government with attack on property of Igbos in Lagos then hiring thousands of media influencers to blame Igbos for every bad thing happening in Nigeria and because people rely on social media for information they were blocked from seeing the implication of such action. They made Emefiele who was just a CBN Governor the boogie man and demonized his good intentions of a cashless economy using compromised telecommunications. If Tinubu government wants to control the brewing crisis most of the ill conceived policies must be reversed especially devaluation of Naira through floating. 1 Like 1 Share |

God1000: Buhari's government wasn't as bad as this. Fuel was 185 Naira after 8 years and Dollar was 500 after 8 years but in 6 months Fuel rose to 600 and Dollar rose to 1,500. The shock of sudden inflation usually leads to civil unrest, coups and wars in every society not just Nigeria 1 Like 1 Share |

“What are the real issues bringing about poverty and rising cases of insecurity? I don’t think it is the issue of new government. To me, this government is a continuation of the former government. It is the same party. So, what really is the problem? I think that is one of the reasons we are here to talk to ourselves. It's bad economic strategy adopted by the new Government from IMF. |
Politics / Re: Petrol Landing Cost Hits N1,000/litre On FX Crisis by Abagworo(m): 10:34pm On Feb 14 |
nairalanda1: The issue is devaluation. If Naira wasn't devalued there wouldn't be any subsidy. Tinubu made mistake in floating Naira after removal of subsidy which proves his evonomic team are not smart. You first of all float the currency and after it has achieved stable exchange rate then you can remove subsidy. 4 Likes |

HNICEARTH: The problem with this you people's Igbo and Benin arguments is that Igbo and Benin shared words in the past especially the ones that developed in later half of last millenium. Can't you see that Ego and Igho are basically the same thing so Aza Ego and Aza Igho should also mean same thing. It's like arguing if TV or COVID is English, French or Italian. 3 Likes |

Anyone following my comments will notice that I made it clear from onset that devaluation of Naira cancelled the subsidy removal so what was dine was general price increase without increasing income of civil servants by same 300% |

Most likely herdsmen cause that's their stronghold. All those Ihube, Uturi, Lokpanta, Umuchieze axis are controlled by herdsmen. Alex Otti has demolished the makeshift shanties at the cattle market but cannot sack those in the bush lest it would be politicized and made to look like he's fighting the innocent Fulani herders. 2 Likes |

Some less intelligent folks will conclude Emefiele is guilty for the drop in foreign reserves despite the fact that Nigeria absorbed the COVID-19 downturn "miraculously". The economic impact of COVID-19 was much on Nigeria and it took the ingenuity of our then evonomic team not to have led Nigeria to its present shambolic state. |
Crime / Re: Gunmen Kill Police Officer, Free Seven Inmates In Okigwe Prison by Abagworo(m): 10:53am On Feb 13 |
The bad thing about freeing prisoners is that death row inmates are easily recruited into suicide soldiers since they have nothing to live for. Most of the militancy and crime that escalates once there's a prison break are carried out by these people. |

marshman293: Owerri cannot be a ghetto. The shine was taken from Owerri the day Ihedioha not Uzodinma started fighting businesses and real estates approved by Okorocha like Empire Filling Station, Market Square and Diaspora Estate thereby sending a wrong signal that land approved by a Governor for business interests could be cancelled by the next. It didn't however stop the rapid development of Owerri but only slowed it down. The insecurity in some parts of the State (not Owerri) affected the hospitality industry but it is gradually returning . Owerri remains one of the cleanest and most beautiful cities in Nigeria and Uzodinma is trying except that he is still playing some unnecessary politics. His concentration has been on major roads and some hitherto unpassable ones like the Toronto road in Uratta, MCC Road and parts of Nekede road. I don't like the way he handled the insecurity initially which created a hostility but he has been trying his best to reverse the situation. That's a very big challenge that has been affecting Orlu zone which is the largest in the State with 12 LGAs. 1 Like |

Truth is that they are looking for every possible loophole to indict and punish him because of the cashless policy which he introduced for the good of Nigeria which the Powers that be felt was against their political interest. 43 Likes 4 Shares |

Slurity: Do you actually believe corruption kills economy? What corruption does is enriching the wrong people and it happens everywhere not just Nigeria but the issue is making your country an attractive place to invest corruption money instead of a place people are taking money away from like Nigeria. Neither Jonathan nor Buhari is the reason for present economic crisis but failure of Tinubu to build confidence among Nigerians thereby leading to what I call economic panic. |
