U don't know anything about uffiom / ezza people,so stop spreading false information.
I

Is uffiom that accommodated ezza people, because of their small population, ezza people beging to marginalize them.
Go search uffion/ezza history
Nobody is marginalizing anybody but enviousness caused effium people to start buying weapons secretly in other to wipe their neighbors Ezzas.
Again,Ezzas are doing very well in terms of properties and investment...there you have ur answers.

You are very stupid by spewing and writing this trash when you are fully aware that, that land is not Ezza land or does Effium land resemble That hell of a place you call Onueke.

I don't know the Joy you Ezza miscreants derive from fighting over something that doesn't belong to you.

And the funny thing about you Ezza guys is that you don't know how to fight, small Ezillo drove you out and you are here talking rubbish.
One thing you should know is that Ezza have never for once prepare to fight anybody of community... they were always be the first to be attack which also throw them off balance.
So Ezzas are not warmongers as you claim, but won't fold hands and allow little parasite with little or no directions to wipe them.
On a lighter note,it amuses me when you want to compare Almighty Ezzas to a tinye Effium.lol

Every other thing you mentioned is just a hogwash.

But the Govenment has demarcated the land and granted Uffiom indigenous rights as well as recognised their Chieftaincy stool, and only gave Ezza people semo-autonomous status.

Why can’t the Ezza accept that?
Why will Ezzas be accepted to play a second fiddle?
Such a thing will never happen, any day the govt want to settle the matter we will know for now we neither have a working governor nor a village masquerade.

I am an Abakaliki man. Ezza people are my distant relatives. So naturally I should side them but I don’t.

I side with the state government who sided with the Uffiom people. A white paper agreement was gazetted in the ministry of justice this February that Ezza people are guests and Uffiom are their hosts, the traditional ruler in Uffiom is officially recognised and the Ezza are officially recognised as guests but Ezza can’t have traditional stool, however they are part of the land and are semi-autonomous.

I side with State government communique and Uffiom people. Even though I’m not related at all to Uffiom who migrated from Benue and Cross river in 17th century.

Let me tell you the story.

Uffiom migrated around 17th century to meet that land as Ngbo land . And I am from Ngbo. They waged war against us but couldn’t win, they travelled to recruit Ezza warriors who are notorious and popular warlords. Ezza had a deal that if they waged the war for them and they won, they would be part and parcel of the land for 100 years. Uffiom accepted and together they defeated us and pushed us further South and East of Ngbo land.

100 years has passed and Ezza have refused to go back to their land, claiming they’ve buried their fathers in Uffiom land and it’s against their tradition to exhume corpses. And they don’t have anywhere else to go. Quite well, Ezza is enterprising and have connections abroad and in Lagos and together they’ve developed the Uffiom land to a large extent but see the Uffiom aboriginals as having a backward lifestyle with no resources or wealth to develop their segments of the society, left for them they can turn Uffiom land to modern town if they are the sole occupants.

Uffiom people see their land grabbing and overbearing nature and want them out. They refuse. Traditional rulers start to incite locals and fight break out!

Just like what you have in Palestine and Israel at Gaza. Two tribes, one city. Nobody gree for eachother.

So don’t accuse me of siding Ezza when you have read my first paragraph
Thanks for ur straight forward narration,Ezza never started any war in the first place but Effium who secretly arming and stockpile arms to use to kill their brothers.
Being an Ngboman you said you be,none of ur people ever like Ezza people for anything though is natural when you see ur neighbors doing very well in anything they lay their hands.
Ogom I married from Amofia Abrigwe Ngbo and knows how I was treated though my father in-law is a Godsend.
We're Israelites in the mix of Arabs.

Ebonyi state will hardly vote Ezza man to be Governor in the near time future even as Nwifuru hands over to Ebonyi central (Ezza land), in the next 8 years. This is because of the fear Ebonyi people have for Ezza people in terms of land grabbing and massacre in Uffiom that will be heightened, as well as Ezza-Ezzilo war that will be re-ignited with support of the Ezza governor.

Ebonyi people are too fearful of voting in an Ezza man, at least for now. Next 8 years power will likely go to Ikwo again. At least their own war is literally only with neighbouring cross river and they’re largely not known to be as troublesome as Ezza. Watch out for Ben Uruchi Odoh the commissioner for justice.
Ok
But one day monkey go enter market but will hardly look back

You tried in your narration. I served in Effium from 2019-2020, and I can tell you for free that it was a segregated community with the two sides living in parallels. Sometimes, the kids would try to bring the talk and hate to the classroom but I forbade it. Ezza kids would come to me in secret to tell me ridiculous things about Effium and Effium kids too would do same about Ezza. I would only smile. I knew war was imminent because the hate was so deep that you could feel it the moment you step into Effium town. Ezza people regarded Effium indigenes as a backward minority that would not allow them to develop Effium in the name of their indigenous claims on the land. Effium, on the other hand, saw Ezza as invading land gabbers who are there to take their land in the name of development. Ezza people were far richer with many having access to Lagos connections and other resources, but Effium folks are more battle hardened and do not joke with their land or culture despite their poverty. The only way is to partition the land and make laws banning encroachment. The ezza may not be indigenous, but they have made soo much investments there that expulsion is not realistic
you really captured the whole scene.

Ebubu:

Ezza people are troublesome.

When you fear Ebonyi man is easily irritated and can easily pick up a fight, it is an Ezza man.

Their ancestors were warlords.

All these things Fulani herdsmen do, they can’t try it in Ezza land or any land Ezza people have interest.

Uffiom people are not indigenous Igbos, migrated from Cross River and Benue. Although they are now indigenous Ebonyians, they speak and hear Igbo, but speak their distinct dialect which Ebonyians don’t hear.

However their quarrel with Ezza people are decades long, and Ebonyi govt is siding with Uffiom, however Ezza people don’t want to let go and are massacring Uffiom people. Uffiom people massacre them too, but are outpopulated by Ezza people. Ezza people just want to massacre them into extinction or send them back to Benue/Cross river so they can take over their arable land.

The Ebonyi state Government Peace committee instituted by the Governor has sided Uffiom people, but the Ezza people are not having it.
You speaks like someone who knows everything about that war,now tell me where Ezza people are troublesome in anyway,Ezza people are not pushover even though the government of Ebonyi state which they fought to be created are yet to come their way.
Effium people started that war with their neighbors and are now paying for it.

An Anambra man that knows Ebonyi more than you that claims to be from Ebonyi. You should be ashamed of yourself.

I have no problem with the issue you have with Anambra people, mine is, that you Abakaliki people should stop trying to force other people in Ebonyi State to take up your Abakaliki identity. Before 1996, we weren't in the same state. We were first in Imo state, then moved to Abia state in 1993, before we merged with you Abakalliki people in 1996. Whereas you Abakaliki people were formerly in Anambra state, before being moved to Enugu state in 1993. As you can see we were never together till 1996 when we were forcefully merged by Abacha.

Why are you angry that we don't want to be called Nwa Abakaliki when our identity is not Abakaliki? Do you want to colonize us? Sorry, we won't be colonized by mere 'nkotono' people.
Brother seriously you have Clearfield many things to them and I beg to just help and lift Ebonyi state from the caricatures others has been throwing to the state.

I'm a proud Ezza man and not Nwa Abakaliki, Abakaliki is a LGA in Ebonyi state and owned by Izzi people.

This is naivety speaking.

All those items you mentioned are luxuries whose imports don't even contribute up to 4 percent of the pressure on the FX market.

Why?
Those are items that are comfortably affordable to Nigerians that don't number up to 10 million, at this very instant. Taking them off the import list or taxing them heavily is going to have an infinitesimal effect on the current naira/dollar quagmire. And humans have a way of sourcing for things that are out of reach, even if they have to circumvent the system. The moment you raise taxes on those things or ban their importation, they automatically become twice as expensive as cocaine. Importers will put more money into smuggling them in, and those willing consumers will only be too happy to spend even more to acquire them. You have solved nothing.

You people keep prescribing paracetamol for acute malaria. Fuel, food, health care and education are the major drains on our FX right now. Fix the basic rots in those four places with local production, and you have automatically eased pressure on the naira by 50 percent. Those are the things every ordinary Nigerian sweats to afford. If those things are domestically produced in the right quantity and quality, importers will no longer make profits from bringing them in, cause people will opt for what is home and affordable.
you hit the nail on the head

There's a different between beauty and develop.
