You are arguing based on sentiments and not facts...Buhari may have come to power through conglomerates of politica powers and parties...but hey thats what every politician needs to consolidate. Buhari as of today has more than 15 Million Votes from the North, super glued and cello taped for him.. waiting for him to contest in 2019.

Politics is always local, an average Northerner after hearing the insults, abuse and names calling by Fayose, ipob yoots and FFK, now regards the PDP as an Igbo party, which is coming to divide the country.. cheesy

2019 election will be purely fought on ethnicity and Governors backings...

I see you counting the numbers doing the permutations but let's get to the basis of governance. has the general performed up to par based on the expectations of 2015. politics aside Nigeria is in a bigger mess than we were in 2015 and the population is growing the numbers are not looking positive. on paper we are out of poverty but in reality the masses are in a hell hole.

think about the poor you see on the streets and the less privilege, they are going through a lot to see a descent meal, job creation, insecurity, National identity, this government is not democratic, yes they might win the election come 2019 but the fact is it would be remembered as a dark time in the history of our nation Nigeria

The demand for sex for roles, jobs, positions has always been a trend that's been since times immemorial.

For you to call out an individual for an alledged crime years after the said event occured is stupid and looking for cheap relevance according to me. Why not then, why now.

Maybe it's my turn, I would bring out my news " Actress Genevieve refused giving me a movie role because I denied her sex five years ago" with that I go dey popular small, as if the thing dey put money for my pocket....

education is not a joke we should not play politics with it, I saw the test results and I was aghast at what the future hold, we both know the north as a problem with education this is one of the ways to fix it.

we need this kind of reform across all mdas in the federation. the civil service is too incompetent

KANU's agenda is a symptom of Nigeria's faulty system. But all you do is encourage the cause and attack the symptoms.

Too bad

now I like what you are saying, we don't have to fight each other before development happens, we need to find a way to break the norms of nepotism, ethnic chauvinism and religion bias and this can only happen when the citizens are active and ask questions not the sentimental ones we see people do. am talking about constructive criticism.

NK is a symptom of the Nigerian problem because in the real sense we are all biafrans, we are all marginalized by the cronyism in our society this turn by turn chop mentality as to change and the youth I mean the well meaning youth who have the nation at heart should be in the fore front advocating for proper restructuring of the Nigerian state. my brother sectionalism can't help anyone or race

people who are born and brought up in Abuja or Lagos but originate from else where, which area do you think they would be more conversant with.. which area do you think they would know the challenges and the opportunities, it is where they reside. that is why you see in Lagos people from other ethnic groups are running and winning political seats. because they have grown in those areas and understand the terrain.

your point of view is myopic and archaic it is retrogressive which undermines development. all you seem to care about is the oil money in the Niger delta which as been a curse even to your own people. I strongly detest and disagree on your stance because it cannot bring forth progress.

That clown came out just a few days ago to say that 500,000 or more millionaires have been created in Kebbi state through rice anchor's programme.
The question now is how many of those farmers given loan have repaid?Less than 20% if reports in the past are true.
What does this simply mean:that the millionaires Audu Ogbeh and this government propaganda machine are churning out are people who collected money and are flexing with it,creating the impression for the likes of Ogbeh that they are millionaires thru farming!
They are simply Ponzi millionaires, flexing on governent funds and not thru farming!
Its probably only in Nigeria and in the minds of the likes of Ogbeh and other slow thinkers that a farmer becomes a millionaire through one season of planting via only the proceeds of his seeds!!

to be honest anchor borrowers was only given to some few cronies in the north, my farm is at ogun state we have been on the necks of cbn and wema bank that was to disburse the counterpart funds for last two seasons production. we didnt see nothing! and that dumb old man comes on TV and start yanning nonsense.

imagine the anchor borrowers scheme was all a lie, it was just given to a few of their cronies and we read on the pages of newspaper that they have disturbed billions for agriculture. to be honest Femi adeshina did a splendid job with agriculture in the previous government, it is still the momentum that is keeping food on the average Nigerians table.

Hardeysolution:
ULC leaders should be arrested

The United labour Congress, ULC, declared a nationwide strike starting from today. The United Labour Congress was a faction of the Nigerian labour Congress and is as at now unrecognized by the Nigerian government.

It should be recalled that ULC broke out of NLC as a result of leadership tussle that rocked the NLC during election of leaders of the Congress. https://www.olisa.tv/2016/12/joe-ajaero-nlc-faction-united-labour-congress/

Therefore, a Congress that is not recognised by the law declaring a nationwide strike is an illegal act that should be dealt with legally.

Union of banks has pulled out of the strike because it is unnecessary at this stage.

If the Nigerian Government should give room for this nonsense, more will come. All sections want to go for strike and take this country to a halt, and that isn't a concern for us Nigerians? The only reasonable fight(strike) is still that of the university workers and all other strike actions against the federal government are mere wickedness and politically motivated actions. It will be unreasonable for the government to negotiate with illegality. Illegal is illegal!

I hereby as a citizen of this country, call for the arrest and prosecution of leaders of ULC.

you have a very valid point at this time of recovery from recession we shouldn't embark on a nationwide strike.

nonetheless I would also want you to name which of the basic needs of the average Nigerian that is being met optimally by the current administration. or the fascism taking place in the civil service or the high cost of living and inflation. we need to call a spade a spade. the nation is at an all time low, this strike could be the rallying point we need to address the loopholes in the constitution and call for a true restructuring of the constitution.

please go out of the country to a neighboring country like Ghana and see what your government as robbed you off

WHY DIDN'T NIGERIANS CONDEMN THE BRUTAL MASSACRE OF IPOB MEMBERS IN 2016

On Feb 2016 the Nigerian military invaded National High School aba venue of IPOB rally and opened fire on people holding only biafran flags dozens were killed.

In the midnight of may 29 2016 Nigerian soldiers invaded a Catholic Church in Nkpor Anambra State and opened fire on ipob members who were sleeping at the Church. The killing continued the following day 30th may 2016 and at the end over 1000 ipob members were brutally slaughtered.

Amnesty International has written a comprehensive report on these killings.

But why is it that there were no mass condemnation of the army from Nigerians as they are doing to Ipob members today?

Is it only ipob members who deserve to die?

We can't be the victim all the time,it's time for u to taste being the victim

truth be told the military was wrong, their act was barbaric and inhumane. on the question why Nigerians didn't condemn the military... NK caused it, his hate rhetoric and tribal bigotry made Nigerians sick of his nuisance. ipob does not deserve every well meaning Nigerians sympathy with all the hate NK as been spilling. ask yourself if you were from another tribe would you allow someone just ridicule your ancestry and heritage because he feels he is marginalized.

to end it all Nigerians are marginalized from the north to south to the east and west.. NK is a bigot and it's people like you massaging his ego and now you have to face the music of the drums of hate NK was beating.

p.s I do not subscribe to military operations in the south east, dialogue and the police could handle this.
