For all those who are asking for names of such companies that pay that much, I will suggest that you start by learning the required skills and making them available on freelancing platforms like fiverr and freelancer. When you have built your skills level and built a portfolio, you can upgrade by joining upwork and optimizing your Linkedin account, then you can one day laugh at those who argue that it is not possible to earn $2,000 (700k) in Nigeria.

To reach that level, go on those platforms (click here for) fiverr and focus on the tech sections. If you are not good in programming, you can start by learning how to configure different applications like CRM, Email marketing platforms with their automation e.g Mailchimp, insightly, sendblue etc, Automation platforms like Zapier and many other things you can do on these freelancing platforms. Use them as a springboard and leave politics sections argument for 3 months and you will begin to see the difference in your life. You will need to download a lot of tutorials and watch tons of Youtube videos and fail on many jobs before you begin to get a traction. Do not think any foreign employer will just give you $2000 just like that, you will have to work hard to learn the required skills, make mistakes, learn from them and become proficient.

You will need to be patient. Give yourself up to one year or even 18 months. Yes, I said so. It can take that long or even longer to make a headway, funny enough once it starts, you will look back and wonder why you ever contemplated crime.

Finally, if you do not have the mind for coding and programming, start with digital marketing skills and begin to narrow down to specific digital marketing niches that fits your personality and skill level.

All these one of "hook me up to this job", "can I send my Cv", "which company is giving this job", "It is a lie, nobody will pay a Nigerian in Tech this amount" wouldn't still allow you to land such jobs because you actually need to put in the work to learn very quickly and become an SME in those fields he mentioned.


Connections might get you to the point of landing the interview but that's where the buck stops, they'd be able to fish out your inexperience and inefficiency from their basic cognitive skills tests and practical Tech Bootcamp exercises, to say the least.

Nothing like which part of IT can I learn in 3-months, so I can land this kind of work and earn this much. There is NONE , but Nigerians would always feel they can be sharp and game the field. In Tech, there is no WuruWuru to the answer, you just have to know what you're doing. SIMPLE

All of them are deep and take time to intentionally learn about, and become an SME in them; be it a Cloud Engineer, or a CyberSec Analyst, or a DevOps Engineer, or an Artificial Robotics Engineer or even the trickest of all a Software Engineer(which people think they can cram and master within 3 months ).

So choose your path HONESTLY based on what you feel you'd still see yourself enjoy doing in another 6years time. If it's the ~750K($1,700 - using 450/naira) that's tripping you, and you feel this is one of those MMM-typa schemes where you can just put 50,000 naira and reap 500,000 naira in 2 weeks, you'd get disappointed awful quickly, and learn that Tech is definitely not the field for you.

You can't cheat the process of building yourself from the ground up in Tech. Would it be hard? yes for someone that isn't from a Science/Technical (STEM) educational background, but it is still something you can learn if you love and marvel at the Cool Stuff engineers are able to build and how they creatively solve business problems for both corporates and startups organizations alike. So, I’ll start:

Sometimes last year, I got an unbelievable offer (well above #750k) at a remote company. I bought a PC, subscribed for large data and set-up a workspace. On Monday which was resumption day, I turned on my PC, logged in and started the online meeting… everything went well for the first day and I got introduced to my colleagues. My friend and I actually got employed for same position, so we usually chatted while working. To be onboarded, we had to install a productivity monitoring tool on our PCs, we were told everything we did on the PC would be captured if the tool was turned ON but I really don’t know why I cared less.

On Wednesday same week, we had a short and simple test, during the test, I asked my friend for an answer as I wasn’t so sure, he responded and that was it.

On Thursday, I had a quick one-on-one call with my manager, I was fired. Apparently, I wasn’t supposed to ask for assistance while taking the test. I apologized but the answer was a straight NO (you sabi how oyinbo people strict). So in other words, I was sacked because I cheated ☹.

4) BMW M3 E90/92/93, 2007 - 2012. With the fourth generation M3, BMW went full circle, back to the E36. By this, the M3 was available as a Sedan, (E90) Coupe (E92) and Cabriolet (E93). And carrying on from the limited production run of the E46 M3 GTR, power came courtesy of a 4,0 V8 2 x DOHC 32V. This delivers 414 bhp at an unbelievable 8,300 rpm, very high for a V8. Like the E30 and E46 models, the E90/92/93 bodywork is unique to the M3's. The twin polished exhaust tips from the E46 was also carried over. The E92 M3 Coupe also has a carbon fibre roof as standard, just like the E46 M3 CSL.

No Evo models were produced, but the range-topper was the M3 GTS. Only available in the E92 Coupe, only 250 were built, and were snapped up. Most orders had been placed before the cars were even built. The E92 M3 GTS had a reworked 4,0 V8, it now had a capacity of 4,4 litres, and produced 444 bhp. It weighed 300 lbs less than the standard E92 M3 Coupe, due to weight saving initiatives.

The E90 M3 Saloon was available with the same 4,4 V8 2 x DOHC 32V engine as the E92 M3 Coupe, this was designated E90 M3 CRT (Carbon Racing Technology). Unlike the GTS, the E90 M3 CRT had all the creature comforts, though it was 100 lbs lighter than the standard E90 M3 Saloon, due to extensive use of carbon fibre as opposed to steel.
