Has baker and hughes called the field operator-wireline applicant for interview

Whether its logistic or fleet officer, the bottom line is trainee will drive trucks.. But the company is fustrating, u invited thousands of ppl to interview and u expect to contact them in 2years time to invite them for training, do u think those ppl will sit down and be expecting ur call up letters in later years, when its not a federal govt. Job.... I wonder hw some HR handles matter relating to human resources of their organisation..

@lazaray.. Have u got info about no. of ppl in zaria ? Post it here lets see or are they making folks to sign an oath in the camp

@Dangote... I expected the question umar is from state K.... Lets analyse.. Umar sorry oo I dnt want u to be offended by my analysis.... My instinct tells me umar knw someone in dangote office. Ref. To his previous post, he was in dangote office (lagos) during the selection period and he saw an applicant form.. I hv been to dangote office b4 and for u to enter their HR dept u must knw an official there.. Fine if I was in his shoe u wont expect me to leave that office with pressing some button. From my findings he is the only one in lagos center who got the IV (you can prove me wrong).. My observation is they are handling the selection region by region.....

1. Dangote is either starting his selection from the eastern zone then to the north, north central and finally west.
2. Or the selection is being done state by states so for now they should be in alphabet K.
3. Selection is based on picking his northern ppl first then other tribes join

But the time notice for resumption at training is to short, dont they know some ppl are doing some work and they will need to collect their oct salary and resign properly... I guess its only Umar from lagos center who got an IV.... Any other person from lagos center who got an offer letter

1. Dangote offered u a place.. Is it offering u a place or inviting for a training?
2. Your sms is too lengthy.. If sms would be sent it would be brief and reference would be made to ur email. Check you previous sms sent on invitation for interview.
3. Which credentials u want take go zaria again .. I thought all credentials have been checked.. Abi dem no check ur own on interview day ?

This truck drivers dont know what is called investment and enterpreneurship they change job like cloths and use all their money on drinks and pepper soup joint... So my advice again when u enter the job u will have a lot of money but dont live a frivulous lifestyle ooo.

Its quite true.. Dangers associated with it is worst than Aluu community killing... My late uncle who drove trucks for 30years gave many stories of highway trucking danger.... One of the incidence was when his truck lost control due to break failure and all he could do was to sway the truck to hit an electrical pole.. Angry residence wanted to lynch him and all he could do was run to near by police station that was what saved him... So ppl trailer job no be childs play ooo

I carefully read the dangote graduate driver advert and I ponder on this statement..... ''This initiative will assist

The word entrepreneurship to me meant he is likely to run the programme as Hire-Purchase where u drive the truck for a period of years it then becomes your and you enter an agreement with him to deliver his goods and he pays u for the services.... , My ppl what is your opnion about this statement..

Just passing by Ikorodu (onipanu) today and I saw 4 brand new trucks without container... Numbered on the windscreen was 1514, 1515, 1516, 1517... Immediately my mind ran to DANGOTE GRADUATE DRIVER

Further investigations by News Express revealed that Ph.D and MBA holders are among the applicants.
“It is true,” a top management official told News Express , adding: “We didn’t expect to have Ph.D and MBA holders among the applicants and this has forced us to go back to the drawing board. How can you use a Ph.D or MBA holder as a truck driver? This hasmade us to start working on developing a new curriculum for the training programme. We are now creating structures we initially didn’t have in mind, such as Supply Chain Management and Customer Care. We also have to make the salary competitive in view of the caliber of the applicants.”

@henrywest.... U cant compare oil and gas tanker drivers to container trucker... Oil and gas company pay higher compared to manufacturing conglomerate.

Hmmm....250k.... I learnt dangote-group pay more salary to staff who works in dangote-group than his subsidiary... So if truck driving is a subsidiary of his group,omo... dont put hope on 150k as salary...

@festguy... 65k,...is that basic or gross pay... ur 65k does it include travelling allowance ??

@all... Now that the interview is over what is d salary expectation. I read an article on haulage business, truck drivers are paid 30k per month, for example;
1. A trip from lagos to abuja, they earn an allowance of 20k, and they can cover 3 trips in two weeks.
2. If it within a state they earn 2k per trip. They can cover minimum of 3 trips in a week.

@lemon... There is point in wat u said, wat if he offer low salary with an expectation of increasing after confirmation, yet he refuses to increase the salary of the truck driver ? Many organisation are good at dat tactis
