I heard about this story this morning on the radio, then I heard it on BBC that there was a video of the whole incident. What I found...I was unable to watch more than 10 seconds of it!

They are not reliable, expensive to fix, consume loads of fuel & getting parts can be a nightmare experience.

I really wonder why everyone here is so surprised? Don't you know that the Jews were the people that financed the slave trade, first and second world war and countless other wars? Every race on this planet hates black people, even black people in America hate their own kind. Indians, Chinese, Arabs, Jews, Whites, Hispanics...etc all of these races still view the black race as useless, lazy, dirty, worthless and would rather kill their own sons or daughters than see them marry someone who is black.

I happened to be at the beach about two weeks ago and had the radio on...suddenly this song that was not in English, probably a song from South Africa came on and this woman sang the most beautiful song. It was a combination of vocals and drums. I hear it almost every other day on the radio but I always happen to catch the song midway through. Can anyone help? I want to get hold of the artists name...please people help me out here.

They should do it now, let us see what will happen. Considering that the government of this country has proven in the past that it is unable to deal with so called terrorist attacks, we as Nigerians would be better off letting Boko Haram kill a US ambassador & letting the Americans come over and eradicate our Boko Haram problem.

Ok you have a valid point on the cost of towing it to a port in the States & shipping but clearing, anyone who brings in cars from abroad would not pay 210K to clear it, more like 110K to clear it. I know people that clear cars for that price by the way! Secondly not all cars brought to Nigeria are from America, you have places like, France, Germany Belgium, Spain, Portugal & even the UK, yes the UK were cars are cheap to buy.  Thirdly the pin head named Nicols or whatever his or her name is should be more mature and act like an adult when involving themselves in an adult conversation and not say silly things like "childish", if you have not brought anything to the discussion. Not all cars for sale are bought from dealers abroad & are regularly bought from individuals residing in Nigeria, so what is with the heavy marking up in price?

1 million naira = 6,240 Dollars
1 million naira = 3,947 Pounds
1 million naira = 4742 Euros

Now take these respective amounts and go car hunting in these respective countries, continents which ever you like and see what you can buy.
Unfortunately in Nigeria you will hardly ever find a car that you like and that is in reasonable condition for under a million naira. So which leads me to my next question, why are Nigerian car dealers so quick to raise prices of vehicles that are for sale, and why are people stupid enough to actually buy cars at extraordinary prices?

Personally they come off as lying, cheating, stealing, adulterous individuals, which usually take advantage of the fact that most people are religious here in Nigeria, to help further their cause in churches where there is more of a power struggle going on behind the scenes than there is in the government. Trinity House, in Lekki is one such example, the head Pastor whose name I won't mention, has a tendency to ramble on and on about his wealth, (House in Ikoyi), cars (Mercedes Jeeps) & trophy wife more than he does about the word of GOD! In the end he will expect you all to donate to his church, right! All I can say is if you have the money, invest in a church and you can have what he has, a very successful business!

ALL CLASSES START AT 11AM & EACH CLASS IS 1 HOUR!

Tuesday:  Boxing (1 hour) + Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (1 Hour)

Wednesday:  Kickboxing / Muay Thai (1 Hour) + Wrestling (1 Hour)

Thursday:  Wrestling (1 Hour) + Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (1 Hour)

Saturday:  Boxing (1 Hour) + Kickboxing / Muay Thai (1 Hour) + Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (1 Hour)


A minimum of 4-6 students per class and all lessons must be booked in advance before the day of the class either by telephone or in person at the UCK Gym.

REGULAR CLASSES

500 Naira per martial arts segment, i.e. Boxing= 500 Naira, Boxing + Kickboxing = 1000 Naira, Boxing + Wrestling + Brazilian Jiu Jitsu = 1500, etc

PRIVATE LESSONS

Private lessons can be requested and are 2000 Naira per martial arts segment, i.e. Boxing = 2000 Naira, Boxing + Kickboxing = 4000 Naira, Boxing+ Kickboxing + Wrestling = 6000 Naira, etc

You do not have to select all martial arts segments in the day you wish to train and can choose to train only one or as many as you like.

NOTE: All students must bring their own mouth piece, shorts, two pairs of T-shirts, water & face towel for training. All equipment for classes will be provided and will be available for every student in attendance.

The wheels in Lagos turn very slowly but this thing is for real.  Apparently UCK will be hosting bigger shows as of early next year at large venues all over Lagos & Nigeria. I don't know the exact address but I know both the UCK Gym and venue are both in Illupeju. I heard about it through a friend who is training boxing and BJJ there.

Mixed Martial Arts is already in Nigeria my friends. There is a company called UCK (Ultimate Cage Kombat) that holds fight tournaments every two weeks & the first one is this Saturday 19th November.
