I have seen a woman, after having genuinely born-again, decided to be separated from her husband because she is the second wife, even though the union is blessed with 4 children together, because she had to restitute, but this WASCE result issue is hypocrisy.
I implore WAEC to send letters indicating certificate cancellation to the various higher institution of learning where the fraudulent WASCE certificate may have been utilized, to enable them carry out further cancellations from their end, too

Before I consider this as a genuine move towards God, they should also return whatever they v acquired tru d certs.

They will need to format their brains cos the certs must have exposed them to higher corridors of learning.....how r they going to restitute the extra knowledge gained tru this certs?

Good talk. The chain is too long. The bottom line is to pray for MERCY of God, as it is not an easy task to completely restitute

Sweet talk, friend, sweet talk. Are you questioning that scriptural teaching called restitution?

As regards returning this and returning that, please know that God'll tell you through the Holy Spirit what to return.

If it's the Holy Spirit that selectively-directed them to return only the WAEC result, all other result is deemed to be void, since you cannot gain admission to the UNI or POLY without having acquired 5 O'Level credits or equivalent. IF it is fraudulently acquired, any higher certificates emanating from this is a nullity, too.

Ehinafe: I have just one question for those people that have just completed restitution, this is really scriptural. Their academics did not just stop at WAEC level, what happened to other certificates that have been acquired, through the fraudulent presentation of fraudulent WAEC result?
Acquisition of good WAEC result is a prerequisite condition to securing admission to higher institution of learning such as Polytechnic, University, etc.

I would implore them to return other certificates and even letter of employment and all the salary that have been earned by the utilization of this chain of fraudulent certificates as a result of the initial WAEC result, it is then we can say, they have completely restituted

Properties / Re: The Nigerian Tenancy Law On Eviction? by Ehinafe: 4:02pm On May 11, 2013
Big Heart, Listen to the advise being proffered to you by the good Nairalanders, forceful ejection is provocative to God. In-as-much as you are being tutored on what the law states as it relates to tenant/ landlord, you can still be frustrated by the same law that is covering you. Carry out a self examination if with sincerity, you really want to possess the property for personal occupation, or you want to give it out to highest bidder.
Properties / Re: The Nigerian Tenancy Law On Eviction? by Ehinafe: 3:49pm On May 11, 2013
Edenitis: Big heart. You have my sympathy because I am a landlord and I have suffered in the hands of tenants who think like 2ru-talk and nony30.
Another one who thinks like them is the Lagos State Governor who has just passed a law to encourage such thinkers.

They think the landlord picked or stole THEIR money to build the house on THEIR OWN land. So he must make it available to them for them to use as they please.

The law in Lagos states that you are to suffer a tenant to owe you for as much as one year before you can seek to evict him.
Now do not let me drag you into these controversies. Let me answer your query.

While the rent subsists, if he were a yearly tenant, that is to say if his last rent were for one year, you should give him a minimum of 6 months notice which should terminate on the date of the expiration of the existing tenancy. If you now have less than six months to the expiry of his rent you need to be careful. If he is a reasonable person, you could discuss your need for the house with him and have an agreement when he will leave. in such circumstances, it is not uncommon for a landlord to give the tenant 3 months extension notice without pay as an incentive for him to leave as agreed. Such an agreement should be written and signed and registered in court in case the tenant changes his mind.
Where the tenant is not a reasonable person, wait for the expiry of the tenancy and then accept shorter rent as stated by Kamalahmed. Midway into the term, give notice to expire with the time paid for. Notice is NOT WITHOUT PAY.

The only problem is that they may not leave when the notice expires and that is when the trouble begins.

You are to give them 7 days notice thereafter and then you proceed to court.

In Lagos, the court procedure is laborious and fraught with excessive and frustrating delays.
Elsewhere it is better.
I operate in Lagos and Abuja.
I have decided to stop being a Landlord in Lagos because of the unfriendly processes to Landlords in Lagos. It is easier in Abuja.

No matter how wicked or unreasonable the tenants may be, keep your cool and wait. What is yours is yours.

(Although there is an on going case of a serving Governor trying to steal a house from the owner with the connivance of some judiciary officers. In the end, the house will still revert to the owner)

A tenant of mine walked away with more than three years rent unpaid!

I still have my house and he has God and his conscience to contend with. My lawyers are not helping and Lagos state system does not defend the Landlords.

God help us all.

I just want to contribute to this thread. It may be easy for the tenant to manipulate the lapses in our judicial system to his advantage in Lagos State, it is not applicable in Port-Harcourt, where the Landlords promulgate his own law and method of tenant's eviction. The tenancy law compels landlord to give a yearly tenant, 6-month written notice to be served on the tenant exactly on the 6th month prior to the expiration of his current yearly rent. If you as a landlord should miss the chance to do so, you have lost the opportunity to serve your tenant eviction notice. What landlords of a particular ethnicity in Port-Harcourt do is to forcefully eject tenant without regard to the law existing between landlord and tenant.
If your situation falls within the ambient of the law as stipulated above, just proceed to serve your tenant quit notice, if you genuinely wish to re-possess your property.
Politics / Re: 2015: It’s Either A Northerner Or No More Nigeria - Farouk Adamu Aliyu by Ehinafe: 3:17pm On May 07, 2013
Dede1: One of the regrettable drawbacks facing Africans is lack of ability to be specific. I really wonder why Farouk Adamu Aliyu would be upset with the declarations made by Mujahid Asari Dokubo. It is very hard to separate Dokubo from Aliyu because both are goofy and idiotic fellows.

Aliyu in his outburst “if Jonathan, Dokubo and their people want to destroy this country, then we are willing accomplices", one wonders who is “WE”. The same goes to Asari Dokubo when he talked abou Niger Delt or the so-called South-south. Niger Delta or South-south is not exclusive home of Ijo. Also I am sure the northern region is not exclusive home of Fulani or Hausa or Kanuri.

I am of the view it is high time some of these loudmouthed punks in Nigeria started talking about ethnic nationalities and stop hiding behind charade to vomit craps bordering on national issues.

Dede1, I want to state here that Aliyu got Asari Dokubo's statement wrongly interpreted. Nigeria is presently in a democracy setting, where there is freedom of speech or expression. Northerners should also be cautious of making utterances that can further heat-up the polity, as we are sitting on the political keg of gun-powder when the issue of who become President come 2015. Asari was only making reference to GEJ securing PDP nomination and not forcing GEJ on Nigerians. The final decision rests in the hand of Nigerian electorate to take when the die is cast.
The problem GEJ is having today was brought into fore by the North through inciting utterances with the sponsorship of Boko Haram, just to discredit Jonathan's government. 2015, we waiting for you deliver the pregnancy, because it cannot be aborted, as it stands

If we actually visualize it from the status of man, age is just a number, because man is made to be the spiritual head of the family. So shall it be irrespective of the status the woman attains in life. But one can be married to an older woman and the level of submissiveness of the woman will be unparallel

I made the transfer here in the UK and it was from my personal computer which i dont share

I bank with GTBank, too, they keep updating their online banking security, where they are many steps ahead of potential fraudster. In addition to the 6 digit codes generated from the activation code, another 9-digit codes will be sent via SMS to the GSM number registered with the bank, at last stage of money transfer. Anyway, I have never experience this before.
I closed my account from one of the 2nd generation bank( name witheld)due to the fraudulent act of one of the paying staff, when some 100 Naira bill was slotted inside 1000 Naira bill, and did not get to know until I got back home, with no refund after complaining.

Well, I would suggest you employ the services of your lawyer to retrieve your money back, after which you should close that account fort-with. I am sure, they cannot withstand the corporate embarrassment the outcome of the legal war will do their corporate image.

Doris, over to you. We are waiting for your response.

Jonwesley, you are right. I dont really understand how this thing play-out. Some few years ago, a colleague of mine working in an oil-service company in Port-Harcourt got a hint that his wife was always camping a man anytime he goes to the rig and he got all the details. He eventually caught the cheat red-handed and his life never remained the same, as his blood pressure got triggered off and rose to an unexpected level. He never made it, as he is 6 feet below, now

This lady has really tried. Somebody should just advise Wunmi to let this lady be. She should move ahead with her live. She had been antagonistic to the union right from day one. I do not see why she should make such sarcastic comment on twitter.

Family / Re: Why Do Women Hate To Marry Traditional Men? by Ehinafe: 7:44am On Jan 08, 2013
oyb: does afam want a traditional woman?

do nigerian men really want a traditional woman - one that will lie down like log of wood in bed, is not concerned about her weight, will only wear traditional attire, is unable to give any advice, is little more than a child rearing machine. . .

this is a traditional woman? a girl who had a boyfriend? in a traditional setting, that is a slut. a traditional babe is one whose parents marry her off usually at 19 or 20 for a tidy sum.

all this one is double talk and ridiculous attempts at nostalgia

This used to be old-fashioned and is booby-trap. The moment a girl wants to trap a guy into a serious relationship or commitment, the first thing the girl does is to try to convince him that she is well-brought up to be domesticated. If you carry out your research thoroughly, you will find out that your house is not the first where such has been carried out. I remembered when I was courting my wife, who is not from South-West but from South-South, the first thing she tried to do was to pretend that she could speak Yoruba, not to convince me but to be accepted by my mother. Unknown to her, I had already made up my mind about her because I really love her. As soon as we got married she threw all the Yoruba languages into the trash basket. When I jokingly confronted her, all she could say is that she has gotten what she wanted and there is no need to stress herself anymore. There are a lot of other positive attributes that are beneficial to me from her as a virtuous woman she is.

I need to optimize my earnings from the sale of some products which depends on combining sale of certain optimum number from the different market available, in such a manner to optimise my profit, Can Richiez help me out analytically before presenting the problem algorithm?
Education / Re: Nairaland Mathematics Clinic by Ehinafe: 10:21am On Jan 03, 2013
Richiez:

nice try bro, although you made some some mistakes especially at the point where you took log of both sides. e.g it ought to be log(x+y)= log5 and not logx + logy = log5. but i must admit, you did a very good job.

here's another approach;

x + y = 5.......(1)
x^x + y^y =31.......(2)

from eqn(1), x=5-y, hence we substitute this value for x in eqn(2).
(5-y)^(5-y) + y^y = 31.......(3)
now, we have reduced the problem to what value of y that must be inserted in eqn (3) to obtain 31.

a thorough look at eqns (1) & (2) shows that the values of x & y must be positive integers within the range 0<x<5 and 0<y<5
clearly, y=3
i.e (5-3)^(5-3) + 3^3
2^2 + 27
4+27=31
now that we have established that y=3, we shall substitute the value of y in eqn(1) to get x
recall that x+y=5
therefore; x+3=5 or x=5-3=2
hence, x=2 when y=3

Richiez, how good are you in solving Dynamic Programming mathematical algorithm? I need to know because I have one here that I am not sure you can get the answer right.

obi123: you should take it at least 4 times yr in my opinion , we are exposed in a number of ways for eg When a person is exposed to needles that are contaminated with HIV-infected blood in the process of injecting drugs, syringes, razor blades or other sharp instruments like needles at the hairdressers, we ladies have been pricked uncountable times at the hair salon, the same needles used on a million other customers, do you know their HIV status??
Unsterilized or dirty razors, knives, or other instruments are used during cultural practices such as circumcision, scarification, tribal marking, tattooing

Yes, I quite agree that it should be done on regular basis. It's not only after having unprotected sex that such test should be considered.
No matter how clean might think he is, the test be conducted regularly.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Chelsea Sack Di Matteo After Juventus Defeat by Ehinafe: 10:52am On Nov 21, 2012
Manager Roberto Di Matteo has parted company with Chelsea, the club has announced.

Di Matteo won the Champions League and FA Cup as caretaker manager last season and was given a two-year deal in June.

But in the wake of the 3-0 defeat to Juventus, which has left the Blues on the brink of a Champions League exit, he has left Stamford Bridge.

"The club will be making an announcement shortly regarding a new first-team manager," a statement said.

Owner Roman Abramovich has made contact with former Liverpool manager Rafael Benítez to gauge his interest in taking charge at Chelsea on a short-term basis.

The club's Russian owner made contact with Benitez even before the defeat in Italy as he assessed his options.

After an impressive start to the season, the Blues have won two of their last eight games.

They sit third in the Premier League table, four points behind leaders Manchester City, who they host at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Chelsea could become the first-ever Champions League holders to exit at the group stage the season after. The statement continued: "The team's recent performances and results have not been good enough and the owner and the board felt that a change was necessary now to keep the club moving in the right direction as we head into a vitally important part of the season.

"The club faces a difficult task ahead in qualifying for the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League as well as maintaining a strong challenge for the top of the Premier League while competing in three other cup competitions.

"Our aim is to remain as competitive as possible and challenge strongly on all fronts."

Former West Brom manager and Chelsea player Di Matteo, who had been working as assistant manager at Stamford Bridge, replaced Andre Villas-Boas in March.

He took over in the wake of Chelsea's 3-1 defeat to Napoli in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

But they overturned that deficit with a 4-1 win at Stamford Bridge and secured a 2-2 draw at Barcelona in the semi-final second leg despite having John Terry sent off in the first half at the Nou Camp.

After beating Liverpool 2-1 in the FA Cup final, they beat Bayern Munich in a dramatic penalty shoot-out in the Champions League final.

They finished sixth in the Premier League and Abramovich waited until June to give Di Matteo the job on a permanent basis.

And after the arrivals of Eden Hazard, Oscar and Victor Moses, they suffered just one defeat in their opening 12 matches before the recent downturn.

Abramovich is now looking for a ninth manager since he took over at Stamford Bridge in 2003.

What an end to a glorious drama.

During a night vigil in one of the praying mountain in Lagos, we were instructed to hold somebody's hand and pray a certain prayer point. It did not last for more than 2 minutes when I saw strange things concerning the person I was holding her hand, and it was terrifying. During the period to meet with the MOG, after narrating my ordeal to him concerning the vision of the night vigil describing the woman in question, he just confirmed to me that, that was exactly what brought the woman to the mountain. He, also, said that such a high revelation is synonymous with a senior prophet, and that I should allow God to develop such talent in him

There was this dream I had in a particular year which had to do with the events unfolding for the following year where I found myself in a strange land in the midst of people of different color. When I woke up, I found out I only had 50 naira on me but I felt so happy as if I had won a lottery. I was sure that what was revealed to me in the visions was real and cannot be mistaken for malaria-inspired dream.
It all came to pass, as I got a job abroad the following year and replaced my car and also had a roof on my head, everything within 2 years.

My speed was more than that of Usain Bolt. All of a sudden, I woke up and the time 03:30 a.m. The following I commenced 3 days dry fasting immediately due to the terrifying nature of the dream.
