Rochas Okorocha has really done well and I doubt if any Governor in history of Igbo land can match him project to project or free education to free education. Eziokwu bu ndu.

NeduLuiZ:
Chidinma is the correct spelling

Beauty or good is spelt as "nma"
While an old woman or mother is spelt as "mma"

Chidinma means God is good.

Chidinma and Chidimma are not the same name even though they are close in spelling..

Chidinma - God is good

Chidimma - God is good to me

Chimdinma - My God is good

Chimdimma - My God is good to me

The statue isn't more than 500k and the entire hall of fame with 14 statues, cenotaphs, brick house and walkways is not even up to a third of that fake concocted figure. No matter how they try to downplay it, no Governor in history has ever attracted leader of any country directly to his State.

so u term his visit to Nigeria or ur state as an achievement for APC, Nigeria is suppose to be the giant of Africa, south Africans shld b celebrating us and not d other way round, from ur write up sir u use statue sign memradum of understanding, u use over 600 million naira to erect a statue and yet u can't pay salaries and pension , sir I know say u senior me but sorry to say u are a curse to Nigerians, how I wish ur parents knew of family planning Dis disaster and curse would have been averted

Keep manufacturing figures and lies instead of facing facts. If Buhari visits a hinterland State in South Africa to launch a foundation and bring Nigerian investors, he will be so honored.
Politics / Re: I Honoured Jacob Zuma To Attract Investment To Imo State - Okorocha Gives Reason by eziokwubundunuwa: 9:18pm On Oct 18, 2017
But I already knew these reasons and so does every sensible unbiased adult. Igbo adage says "if a road is good, one will use same road again" and Zuma with his entourage will always appreciate the Imo hospitality. If President of such a big nation visits any other State in Nigeria, I am sure schools and markets will close.

Nigeria keeps running in circles. Until we privatise all our highways, we'll keep constructing and reconstructing every 5 years. Nobody that plied the once beautiful Owerri-Onitsha road in 2012 will believe that road is so bad now that vehicles drive against traffic.

As regards the language, Igbo is a recognized official language in Equatorial Guinea and it has been confirmed that the people still speak the Igbo language which has some form of deviation from the modern Igbo spoken in Nigeria. Some people who have seen them say they say, 'bia ikaa' for 'come here'. Anybody who has been in contact with these people as regards the language?

Finally I think that Igbos of Nigeria do need to reach out to our people in Bioko to re-strengthen our ties and the language.

Imo Businnes Community on Zuma's visit

The Imo State business community, under the aegis of the Imo Economic Development Initiative, has said the visit of South African President Jacob Zuma was a major boost to the state’s economy.

The opposition has criticised the state government for spending public resources to host the South African President.
But a member of the business community and Chairman of the Germaine Group, Chief Jerry Chukwueke, told The Nation that the benefits from the visit far outweighed the cost and whatever the state government went through.
According to him, there was a robust engagement between the business community and the South African delegation, led by its President, where mutual agreements were reached in the power and gas sector, as well as the agriculture and hospitality

Chukwueke said: “As part of the outcome of our engagements, the South African President approved the setting up of a consulate in Owerri. This means people travelling to South Africa from the Southeast can process their visas and other related business documents directly in Owerri with much ease.
“The President also approved the establishment of a payment centre in Imo State, where all business payments are made and credit card obtained. This can be used for business transactions in South Africa. You can imagine the volume of Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) that will accrue to the state and the number of jobs that will be created.”
The businessman also said President Zuma agreed on a partnership between the South African Airline and Imo International Cargo Airport.

Those in the Imo State team included Chairman of Diamond Bank Plc, Pascal Dozie; Chairman of Zinox Computer, Chief Leo Stan Eke; and Chairman of Innoson Motors, Innocent Chukwumah.

Chukwueke said: “We have, as a matter of fact, set up a 10-man committee made up of five people from each side. We will be having our first meeting next month in South Africa. We are looking forward to further engaging the South African government to see how we can harness their huge expertise in agriculture, mining and the automotive industry.”
