That Okechukwu must be an efulefu, no true son of his father would ever dream of joining ENDSARS protest at Lekki
If I happens to be his brother, I will just go straight to the station and tell the men in black to lock up and throw the key inside lagoon
Okechukwu, your brothers dey alaba, ikeja, ladipo and trade fair dey hustle to better their lives, u dey here dey protest for waiting no concern u. Let those that brought this monster protest
Are you really a Nigerian youth? I ain't really sure you are even an Igbo descendant, because it's only a cow that would reason the way you just reason! Perhaps you are one of these cow from the north, because they are the ones who kill at will. They are blood sucking demons.
"They should lock up your own very brother in a cell and throw the key into a lagoon.Your just act tells more about your personal person. I wouldn't say more about your situation and character. I would leave your conscience to judge your action".

You are a big fool. A protester was ransacked into a Blackmaria as if he is a criminal or a terrorist, and all could come out of your skull is tribalism! I am so sure you are a Northernal. Do you see why many always ascribe you you all as cow?

The worst thing that can happen to any Nigerian girl is to marry a poor, frustrated Man. For your own safety Marry a rich wealthy Man.
In order word, Marry Money grin
Emacipate yourself from this mental slavery. I would rather you work hard yourself and make good money. Money does not bring happiness and success in marriage. Not even your beauty. Wanting to marry a rich guy or man at all cost is a poor man syndrome. It's high time you jettisoned from such. God already knows whom you are going to marry. Better you channel your energy(prayers) to that marriage instead.
pansophist:

Personally I won't marry a woman (Nigerian or not), that is only bringing herself to the table. As far as I'm concerned, yansh and breast is not a contribution, something women shamefully think it is. Good men full everywhere, if you can't find one, it's most probably that they are avoiding you.

Jackson parked his car a few yards away from a beautiful big black

gate. Having arrived Lagos over one hour ago, he has been driving
aimlessly around the streets of Lagos to buy time and to ensure that
everywhere was dark. He couldn’t risk driving around with a wanted
criminal hiding behind the seats in his car.
“What are we doing here?” Sharon who has been the only one
chatting with Jackson since they left Ijebu Ode asked.
“We are meeting an old friend of mine.” He replied.
“Who is he?” She asked.
“A she actually.” Jackson replied with a smile.
“Can we trust her?”
Even though the questions are necessary, Jackson thought they are
becoming too much. But he is not in a position to complain. They
deserve to know every of his moves.
“She is a private detective. She can help us on this case.”
Jackson replied just in time when the gate swung open and a young
woman who couldn’t be more than thirty five walked out. Clad in a tank
top and a yoga pant, a pair of tennis trainers ardoned her legs.
Everything about her screams fitness as Sharon could make out what
looks like muscles on her arms.
“Let me go talk to her.” Jackson said alighting from the car. “If
you see anything strange, drive off.” He instructed Ojo who
immediately climbed into the driver seat.
The young woman by now was walking along the street like she wasn’t
expecting to meet Jackson when he walked up behind her.
“Hi Miss.” He greeted.
“Hello.” The young woman replied.
“Can I have a minute of your time?” Jackson asked.
“Crazy man, you haven’t changed a bit.” She replied hugging him
tightly. “I haven’t seen you in how many years?”
“Just five.” Jackson replied smiling.
“Just five….” She said emphatically. “See how you said it as
if it is five minutes.” She added. “Just five years ago when you
eloped with Michelle, breaking my heart in the process.”
Jackson smiled to cover his look of regret.
“Anyways, what do you want from me after like five years?” She asked.
“Did you hear of this guy’s case? A certain Ojo who killed Barrister Joe
Olukunle.”
“The Barrister who was killed by his driver?” she asked.
“Yes, I need your help.” Jackson replied.
“I have been out of service for a year now. I can’t help you.”
She replied.” Without battling an eye. “If you will excuse me, I need
to return to my son.”
“Wow! You have a son?” Jackson asked.
“Wow, yes! I have a son. Were you expecting me to remain sad
after you left me and not get married?”
“Of course not. I’m happy for you. I really am.” Jackson replied.
“Good to hear. Can I leave now?
“Can I at least say hi to your kid and your husband?” Jackson asked.
“And what would I tell him? Hi, meet your supposed father, the
man I was supposed to get married to.”
“Come on, I am just an old friend.”
Together, the two of them walked back into the compound.
“This is a great edifice. You must have done well for yourself.”
Jackson remarked after seeing the beauty of the compound and the
mansion in it as well as the cars parked inside the compound.
“I did get married, but my husband and I are divorced. I got
half of his properties including this house that we are in. And that’s
it.” She explained.
“Why have you been out of service?”
“The reason I am divorced. My husband was attacked because of
some case I handled back then. I wasn’t willing to drop the case and
my marriage suffered for it.” She explained. “But I was forced out of
work because I needed to look after my son.” She added.
“I will just take my leave.” Jackson announced. “Enjoy life with
your son.” With this, he made to turn back.
“You need my help, don’t you?” She asked. “You won most of the
cases I cracked back in the days. It’ll be an honor working with you
again.”
Jackson smiled as he dialled a number on his phone. “Sharon, you can drive in.” He said into the receiver.
“Tell your gateman to open
the gate for my car.”
Ojo drove into the compound and immediately, Sharon alighted.
“Sharon, meet my friend, Eve, she is a detective. A badass
detective.” Jackson said.
“Good evening.” Sharon greeted.
“No, this is not happening.” Eve whispered to herself as her
attention was on the advancing Ojo. “You brought a criminal into my
house. Not just a criminal, but one who evaded justice.”
“Stand where you are young man.” She said to Ojo who stopped
in his tracks immediately.
“I can explain Eve. He is innicent.” Jackson stepped in.
“Every criminal is innocent until proven guilty.” She has said
before she realized what she got herself into.
“Exactly. He has not been proven guilty. And I need your help.”
Jackson replied.
Eve thought about it for a while. “Come with me.” She said.

@Felixadded,Barr Jackson might be ignorant of how deep his wife's ties with that SAN is. Maybe what she meant by 'this is the first time he is asking us for a favor... has to do with a scenario that has seen the SAN helping her in some ways and not really Jackson per se. And also don't forget that the SAN has some dirt on her that Jackson might not be aware of...

Ordinarily,if my wife tells me that someone has been nice to her,it is just courtesy to treat that person right and be nice when such persons call for favors.

The ELIMINATE part is dicey though...

Make we wait abeg for the next jare
I greet you brother.

@D9ty7, I owe you a bottle of wine. Please give us update mbok!!!!
More ink to your pen bro.
That is the point, bro. How would my wife tells me to get someone kill just to show allegiance to someone or to murder someone in name of paying back a kind gesture, tufiakwa!. The only reason why my wife could suggest that is only if we were ........ I hope you understand
Literature / Re: The Murderer: A story by d9ty7 by Felixadded(m): 8:07pm On Sep 24, 2016
bencarson007:

@Felixadded, there is no painting for that word eliminate in this context...that SAN and his cohorts eliminated Barr Joe because he was not falling in line to their criminal tendencies. And soon that Barr Joe's arrogant son might also be a victim of the SAN's schemes if he is not careful. Remember. What the SAN said in his meeting with Barr Joe's son...
'that young man needs to be kept in line...that was how his father started until he was...'

Now they want to make an innocent soul pay such that the case gets closed and finally too.

Barr Jackson's wife is the card they have in their hands right now because they have some dirt on her which Jackson don't know about. And they count on her to persuade her husband to stop helping Ojo and assist in eliminating him or they will spill on her. Simple.

Come to think of it,this Ojo is too dull sef. When I know say Ghana and Togo no far...haba as a pure Warri boy wey no do something wrong na and running for his dear life, I for don fly into Ghana or Togo since. Dem go find me tire.

@D9ty7, more ink to ur pen o
Abeg serve us more as e dey hot.
We need updates o
@Bencarson007, From your epistle, though you might be right, but only time would tell if you're hundred percent.
I am still in a dark on one thing, and I like you to reason along. Let ponder on what Mrs Jackson said above, " This is the first
time he is requesting something from us and the least we can do
is do it for him. Eliminate Ojo." Since Mr Jackson is not partisan to them and neither is he aware of their game plan, how would his wife asked or to tell her husband to terminate someone's(Ojo) life? This is really puzzle!
@D9ty7, the suspense in the story is superb. We are patiently waiting for more updates. Thanks.

Pity Ojo embarassed some women are devils sha..i can't imagine how she said it so bluntly without mincing words, 'Eliminate Ojo' even in her pregnant state. Nawa ooo, keep it coming D9ty7 cheesy more wisdom to you.
I think you're wrong on what the writer's meant above. "Eliminate Ojo" from that context might not simply means to get him killed or to kill Ojo so to speak. In my own opinion, I guess what the writer or the woman suggesting is that her husband should stay off Ojo's case.
I like to commend you, D9ty7 for your wisdom in penning this novella. More power to your elbow. Please keep it coming. Many thanks.

Pls be candid for once in ur life time! With the way he's handling corruption, what do u think of Nigeria in the next couple of years? I don't mean to insult anyone here, I just want u to be sincere with urself and tell if he really has that charisma to lead us up from (2015).
