I think the wife-to-be of ur friend is only trying not to wound the feelings of the other man... thats what i think anyway!!! I know women always go for who they love unless the guy is not ready yet and she will want to secure her future first. But, I strongly advice your friend to watch his back cos the text message is a sure pointer that there is every possibility that the lady will cheat on the husband with the other guy!!!!
My second advise is that your friend should pretend and watch her to verify the authenticity of her intentions (as regards the text). this is because if your friend confronts her now she will withdraw and be more discreet in her mode of communication with the other man without any trace behind>>>
**** if the above is not workable***** then MY OGA AT THE TOP**** will advice you more*** THAT's ALL.

Politics / Nigeria’s First Wind Farm Goes Onstream In Katsina by ikmoore2(m): 11:48am On Apr 12, 2012
The Katsina State Government will soon launch Nigeria’s pioneer Wind Farm. The Wind farm located in Katsina is funded by the Japanese International Cooperation Agency and has a capacity of 10 Megawatts.
Minister of State for Power, Darius Ishaku, revealed this when to two senior Katsina State officials on a courtesy visit to his office seeking an end to the incessant power outages in the state.
The Katsina State Commissioner for Water Resources, Jamilu Musa, and the Special Adviser to the Governor on igher Education, Dr. Garba Matazu were informed by the minister that the Wind power project will inject 10 Megawatts into the national grid.
An additional 0.8 Megawatts, generated from solar, will be injected directly to the Umaru Musa Yar’adua University in Katsina to serve the school.
The minister also harped on the planned Zobe and Jiba dams in Katsina, stating they would improve generation.
He added that the Kurfi, Kankara and Malumfashi sub-stations, as well as the Daura lines had been reawarded to improve the voltage in katsina and Kano.
He also advised the State Governments to woo private investors to set up power generation plants in their states.
Politics / How Adamawa Ex-ssg Stole N300m In Three Months, By ICPC by ikmoore2(m): 11:33am On Apr 12, 2012
The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offence Commission (ICPC) yesterday said a former Secretary to Adamawa State Government (SSG), Mr. John Eddie Manassa, is on trial before a Yola High Court for allegedly stealing N300million from the treasury within three months.
ICPC told the court that the former SSG stole the money in tranches.
The anti-graft agency said of the money, about N45million was the state’s contribution to the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF). But instead of remitting the money, the ex-SSG allegedly paid only N28million to the NGF.
A statement by the Resident Consultant on Media and Publicity of the ICPC, Mr. Folu Olamiti, said: “The money was allegedly moved out of the state treasury at separate times between December 2007 and February 2008.
“The commission told the court that Manassa allegedly used his office to demand for, at separate times, N130million, N45million, N44million, N25million, N5million, among others, from the governor to carry out official functions, only to divert virtually the money into his private pocket.
“Although Manassa pleaded not guilty to the 10-count charge of criminal diversion of public fund preferred against him by the ICPC, two of his former staff - Francisca Koji and Fadimat Sheu - who were witnesses in the case, mounted the witness box to testify against him.
“Koji, who was a cashier in the Office of the SSG between 2007 and 2008, told the High Court how she collected cheques relevant to the case from the office of the Accountant-General.
“She said the cheques included a N130million allegedly meant for members of Adamawa State House of Assembly; N45 million cheque for Governors’ Forum; N25 million cheque for peace and security in Adamawa State; N44 million cheque for outstanding payment and commitments; and N5million cheque for Christmas and Salah.
“ICPC, however, led evidence to the effect that the monies were moved out under the pretext that they were meant for the said official purposes but were diverted to his private pocket.
“Fadimatu, who retired after spending 25 years in service, gave evidence on the monies, to the effect that she was collected the controversial cheques from Koji and deposited them in the SSG’s account in Zenith Bank.”
On the N130million cheque meant for the House of Assembly, Fadimatu said after collecting the cheque from the Office of the Accountant-General, she informed the SSG, who instructed her to cash the cheque. She said she did.
“She testified further that the SSG also directed her to take the money to a member of the House of Assembly representing Girei Constituency.
“She said she did not know the house of the member but that the Personal Assistant to the SSG, the late Usman Joda, and Hamisu Idris, the Senior Special Assistant to the SSG, took her with the money to the house of the member.
“Shesaid when they got there, they met some people who asked them to confirm the money, which she did. She was later told to drop the money which she did at the parlor...”

Politics / Origin of BOKO HARAM Exposed!!!!!! by ikmoore2(m): 3:19pm On Mar 22, 2012
I read this somewhere and decided to bring it to your attention: whether its true and not, I believe the information contain therein can not be disregarded.
Warning: The write up is lengthy
Most Nigerians failed to read between the lines when Buba Galadima, National Secretary of the Congress for Progressive Change and right hand man of the party's presidential candidate in last year's presidential elections, Muhammadu Buhari, told the BBC that Boko Haram was more popular in certain parts of the North than the government gave it credit for. In that Late December 2011 interview Buba Galadima had said "The people are sympathetic to certain principles and ideas," he told the BBC. "If people feel they are being denied anything or an injustice is being meted out to them then there is a likelihood that they will take the law into their own hands and help themselves."
Mr Galadima, who is from near Damaturu, where Boko Haram originally sprang from, raised the case of the former militants from the oilrich Niger Delta who were given generous financial packages from the government to keep them out of trouble.
"Why didn't the president crush the Niger Deltans? That's a questions a lot of people in this part of the country are asking," he said.
"Instead they are being rewarded for the economic destruction they brought Nigeria. Why can't the same be true for Boko Haram?"
In the last couple of weeks prominent individuals and groups from the North have initiated a coordinated campaign to agitate for an increased share of oil revenue from the Niger Delta. This strategy has been too coordinated to be a coincidence and the first salvo was fired by the governor of the CBN, Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, who in an interview with the Financial Times of London on the fringes of the World Economic Forum that the 13 derivation being paid to South South states is one of the major causative reasons for the rise of the Boko Haram insurgency.
His exact words at that time were as follows "There is clearly a direct link between the very uneven nature of distribution of resources and the rising level of violence."
"When you look at the figures and look at the size of the population in the north, you can see that there is a structural imbalance of enormous proportions. Those states simply do not have enough money to meet basic needs while some states have too much money.
"The imbalance is so stark because the state still depends on oil for more than 80 per cent of its revenues"
When a stunned nation was still in shock wondering how a public servant could utter those words, the same Sanusi Lamido Sanusi then 'donated' 100 million Naira of public funds to his home state of Kano as the CBN's contribution after the state suffered an attack from Boko Haram.
Soon after this, the Chairman of the Northern States Governor's Forum, Governor Babangida Aliyu of Niger State came out only to call for more oil money to be sent up North pledging that the current revenue formula was skewed against the North.
His words were The revenue allocation formula should be looked at. We are hoping that within 2012, there would be discussions and review of the allocation formula.
But there are other issues that would come. For example, there were oil wells that were over 200 kilometres away of the shore of the country. Those ones before the passage of law by the National Assembly were supposed to be oil wells for the whole country.
But now, they have been made to be given only to the contiguous states in addition to the 13 per cent derivation. So, if you look at that, you will say that it will not serve everybody well if certain parts of the country are not doing well while some parts are doing exceptionally well. So, THE PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE until we are able to find a solution.
Many Nigerians are still wondering what Babangida Aliyu meant by "THE PRESSURE"?
When his call was vociferously rejected by governors from the South south, home of Nigeria's oil production, Babangida Aliyu remained adamant and said no one could intimidate the North over its demand for more oil wealth.
After Sanusi and Aliyu had needed their salvo, the nation woke up to find that some elements in the North had set up a body called Concerned Northern Leaders. This group NaijaPundit gathered was set up by hard liners in the North to counter calls for a Sovereign National Conference as well as put pressure on the political infrastructure of the nation to ensure that a Northern emerges as president in 2015.
In the first salvo fired by the CNL, it's convener, Dr. Junaid Mohammed, granted an interview to the Sun Newspapers where he said that the North is ready for Nigeria's break up. He however insisted that the North would lay claim to Yoruba speaking areas of Kwara and Kogi states as well as Abuja (click here for Junaid's interview).
Many pundits had read that interview as an attempt to intimidate progressive elements who were demanding for the convocation of a Sovereign National Conference and get the Yoruba proponents of the call for an SNC to count the cost of their agitation before it became too late.. In that interview, Dr. Junaid dropped with bile and scorn on proponents of the SNC.
If Nigerians thought that the first salvo from the CNL was bad, the next salvo fired this past Thursday was a bomb shell. After meeting in Asokoro, Abuja, Dr. Junaid read a communique insisting that the revenue formula must be reviewed because the 13 derivation to the South South was hurting the people of the region. According to the Concerned Northern Leaders, indigenes of oilproducing states have become victims because the revenue accruing to their states is far beyond their executive capacity to manage".
Dr. Junaid in the said communique then incredibly called for those funds that currently accrue to the Niger Delta to be plowed to other regions most notably the North
However, Dr. Junaid failed to tell Nigeria's that what Nigeria's founding fathers agreed with the British at independence was that each region should control its resources and that 50 of the resources in each region was kept by the region, 25 shared with other regions wile 25 is paid to the central government.
But a greater shock came the way of Nigerians when the Northern Elders Political Leaders Forum, which came into being in 2010 as an amalgamation headed by Adamu Ciroma to wrest power from president Jonathan in favor of a Northerner resurrected and began holding meetings. The first meeting was held a week ago at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja. A follow up meeting was held between Thursday the 15th and yesterday, Friday the 16th of March.
In their communique released yesterday after a meeting at the Maizube farm residence of former head of state, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar, the group said they would Bring back peace to the Northern region now ravaged by ethnic and religious violence driven in large part by Boko Haram.
The two main rivals for the endorsement of the Northern Elder's Political Forum's consensus ticket, General Ibrahim Babangida and former VicePresident, Atiku Abubakar met with amongst others the immediate past Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Alhaji Yayale Ahmed, including other eminent citizens, such as Mallam Adamu Ciroma, Archbishop John Onaiyekan, among others, at the Maizube farm house of General Abubakar in Minna, Niger State, to proffer solutions to the lingering security challenges bedeviling the country.
Others in attendance at the twoday meeting included former CJN, Justice Alfa Belgore; Sheik Ahmed Lemu; Alhaji Ismaila Isa Funtua; Dr Bello Fadile; Alhaji Tanko Yakasai, Mrs Pauline Tallen; Alhaji Aminu Sale; Professor Jubril Aminu and BrigadierGeneral John Sagaya (retd).
The Chairman of yesterday's meeting was the head of the Northern Elders Political Forum, Also, Mallam Ciroma, said there were certain issues that had become concerns to all the citizens, especially issues of security, economic situation of the country, religious confrontation, as well as the use of government resources anyhow by leaders of government.
However, Ciroma forgot to add that it was the threatening comments for him and us fellows in the Northern Elders Political Forum that had stoked religious sentiments and inspired hate groups such as Boko Haram who may have been inspired by the comments from Alhaji Lawal Kaita who said in October 2010 that "The North is determined, if that happens, to make the country ungovernable for President Jonathan or any other Southerner who finds his way to the seat of power on the platform of the PDP against the principle of the partys zoning policy".
Kaita, founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and close ally of former VicePresident Atiku Abubakar, had at that time warned that the North should not be blamed for the calamity that will befall the country, if Jonathan emerges President.
Now, if Nigerians had thought that Kaita was joking, his own principal, former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, had come out openly on the 14th of December 2010 to say " Let me again send another message to the leadership of our great country, especially the political leadership that those who make peaceful change impossible, make violent change inevitable.
In the light of the above, many are beginning to ask the question if Boko Haram is just a creation of some in the North in reaction to power slipping from the zone and an attempt to have leverage to renegotiate the return of power to the region by 2015.
The facts have been presented. Now make your own conclusions.

Politics / Are Nigeria’s Politicians “black Monkeys.” ? by ikmoore2(m): 12:19pm On Feb 09, 2012
I saw this write up online and thought it wise to bring to your knowledge
the sory is long but take your time to digest it -- food for thought
I have a story to tell you. Wait! It’s no fairytales; it’s not like we have it in several books of fiction. This is real: it’s the story of a group of people. Amongst them are my brothers, my neighbors, and those who have certified themselves as eternal enemies to
me. I know that I was not sent here on earth to make enemies but to bring souls back to God. But to those who would neither enter the kingdom, nor allow others to enter, I say this: You are doomed! The only just thing you have done in your life is that you have “justly” judged yourself because everything you do brings you closer to your reward. It’s that simple. Having said that, I also want to warn that, should any of you or group of you “ever think” evil of my message, your evil thoughts will enchain you like it did Osama Bin Laden. And you will only succeed in destroying yourself. To you who lead Nigeria, I say: calling you monkeys is no crime. You are monkeys born of an evil breed! In fact, it’s an honor done you to call you monkeys because monkeys are not so self-destroying.
You want to know how monkeys reason; I mean, black monkeys? Let me tell you. A man in Nigeria has a lorry with which he plies long routes. He bought a monkey and keeps it always beside the wheels. His aim? The monkey protects his vehicle and alerts him on dangers, and then keeps him company. The man, in turn, feeds the monkey with its delicacies; this time, banana and more bananas. The monkey never tears his clothes or eats what is not meant for him - it simply keeps to the bargain of survival and neighborliness. But those who lead Nigeria are not so; they are like crabs that eat their dead brothers and then, turn around to eat themselves. Let me tell you why:
1.Mandela was imprisoned for unimaginable years for the cause of his people, yet he was released and eventually led his people. Today, it’s a shame to point an accusing finger on the man, Mandela because he stood out for his people though it all. Obasanjo, on the other hand, was imprisoned for his political games, was later released to lead the country. But he led it into the ditch. What he boasts of today are the Otta farm and his oil wells amongst other.
2.In America, former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich was sentenced to 14 years in prison in 2011 for 17 counts of graft which includes trying to sell the US Senate seat once held by President Barack Obama. But Mohammed Abubakar, a policeman indicted with complicity in the gruesome killing of Dr Shola Omoshola and the Jos 2001 crises by the Oputa Panel and the Justice Niki Tobi panel for sack and retirement respectively, was called and enthroned as the new IGP in Nigeria.
3.While American and British embassies in Nigeria are there – defending to the very last the rights of their citizens and their countries’ interests. Nigeria’s embassies all over the world are waylaying, intimidating and passing “guilty” sentences to “Nigerians” in their various countries of mission.
4.Ghana, the rejected of Nigeria, is moving to sell electricity to Nigeria. These Nigerian monkeys (leaders) are moving to buy – forgetting that, to shut down to entire country from Ghana, only a switch is required.
5.America and the rest of the world constantly bring in new people to manage the economy and to lead, and they listen to popular demands; Nigeria’s politicians, on the other hand, are Nigerian-made- full of dirt, corruption; wickedness and evil: they simply rob Peter to pay Paul – swapping and reshuffling responsibilities amongst them with ever increasing number of failures.
6.Malaysia got her independence in 1957 from the very Britain just three years before Nigeria became free from them also. The country of Malaysia today can been described as self-sufficient. While the shameless monkeys are busy signing into law contracts to ship their sons and daughters in schools in Malaysia, US, UK, Ukraine and other countries of the world, Nigeria universities – not mentioning state ones - are ranked the poorest in the world.
7.While it took an undergraduate in the USA to program and invent Facebook, Nigeria’s politicians and their children thrive in PhDs and undefendable, bloated degrees. They would kill or kill the talents of upcoming scientists and inventors than give them a level-playing ground.
8.While Uganda invented a new car and the Republic of Congo invented iPad-rival tablet, Nigeria’s monkeys are busy patronizing their daughters and sons’ age-mates with the country’s funds.
9.Obasanjo, Buhari, Babangida, Yar’Adua, etc: these led the country and traveled to different developed and developing countries like no man’s business. They each entered trains, drove on smooth roads and looked up toward sky-creepers. But, on returning home, only enter their self-made prisons – locking themselves up (against those they have held bound) with gates bought with stolen funds.
10.State governors in other countries of the world do not last a year if they are not doing anything. In Nigeria, it’s a different thing for the black monkeys: they only boast of bulletproof cars, the many ladies they waste the states money on, and on how many enemies they made and how many families they wrecked. For each Nigeria’s state governors, a sum of about $US2, 000,000.00 is given monthly for protection. Can anyone protect himself against himself unless he hands himself into the hands of the creator of all? You have no security and your coverings are leaking with holes.
My God! The list is endless. You do not have to stand close to know that this has nothing to do with monkeys. In other words, their attitude has nothing to do color or creed: it’s a curse – embedded deep down the root of this ill-fated and evil of Her Majesty’s amalgam called Nigeria. You simply cannot beat them once you are clothed on swearing-in with the spirit of Nigeria. You can be anybody but, once you get in there, it becomes a different story - not because they call it politics, but because Nigeria’s foundation was based on an agreement with the devil. The CBN governor, Malam Sanusi was quoted recently as having said that “one trillion naira is enough to bribe anybody to sign anything;” no wonder he signed for Islamic banking against popular outcry and no wonder Igbo governors are looking on while Northerners and the “Nigerian government” are slaughtering their people. This has even gone so far that the Imo and Ebonyi state governors, respectively, denied that Igbo were killed anywhere in the country. Black monkeys!
This is not about to stop; no change to sustain Nigeria will ever work. In the times of old when men were left in the hands and at the mercies of wicked leaders who neither have fear of God nor respect for man, God always raised a messenger and a leader. Then God always spoke. And what He says always stands. Those who lead Nigeria are accursed of God, and they cannot escape. It does not end in killing, imprisoning, bribing and intimidating – these things don’t always work. And, on the thresholds marked with the blood, they will never work. Nigeria must be totally torn apart; it must divide completely. The division has nothing to do with the politics of the world; it has everything to do with God’s purposes for men – which purposes Nigeria as a country stands against and vehemently opposes. When there is a country with so-called great men of God but the children of God are groveling on the ground – looking for salvation – such a country has incurred the wrath of heaven. Every country that errs has its punishment: but, until the last day, the punishment will only be to warn, deter, and build up. To those who wish that Nigeria remains “one” in order to fuel satan’s plots for souls, you have failed. Woe to you! Sin is a reproach to Nigeria and the reproach is not just a shame: it’s a curse which has come with corresponding punishments. To the hands which hold Nigeria together, I say: be you broken in Jesus’ name. And to the chains that kept unwilling peoples compelled under a heaven-accursed name called Nigeria, I say: lose your hold. If there is God whose son is Jesus Christ, then Nigeria is already dividing because He cannot fight Himself – how much more can He fight His Word? Nigeria was set up by Britain under the foundation of selfishness and callousness, and has been carrying the yoke of unbelief. Therefore, let those who believe not be yoked with the yoke of hell. For the sake of the kingdom and for the sake of the remnant, Nigeria must finish its division. Those who work at every length to compel and keep a “One Nigeria,” may heaven rise against you, your health, and the works of your hands today. The children of the West crave for their own freedom but our children crave for God. However, because of these men and women whose hearts have been seared with hot iron, children raised in Nigeria now grow unwillingly in the ways of the evil one; may those leaders whose hearts have been darkened by blood and poison be removed by heaven. The savior of mankind, Jesus, called Herod “Fox;” I call you “Black monkeys.” You shall not escape judgment – this you know so well. The prayers you pay for from different so-called men of God will not avail you; they too are judged. Those whom you go to for ritual protection shall find out that the blood of Jesus Christ does away with every other washing. Unless the blood of Jesus washes you, you will forever remain unclean. Everything which separates man from God and made it difficult to maintain a relationship with Him was destroyed by the sacrifice of Jesus and was symbolized by the tearing into two of the cloth which demarcated the holy of holies from the people: any created being who seeks to keep people enchained after this eternal and once-and-for-all sacrifice will receive the reward of Lucifer. Today let God arise in the lives of those forcefully called Nigerians, and let all His enemies be forever scattered. Amen.
