I went home this year and i will never forget the experience. There are average of 3 churches in a street.Level of poverty is something else.I can't imagine that a sensible human being can sit down in a church where the pastor has a jet.something is really, really, really wrong with christians in Nigeria. |

Lagosboy, don't mind all this Fashola supporters especially Eko-ile and otapiapia or tpia whatever. I assumed they are paid to attack fashola's "enemies".I personally travelled to five LG in lagos, i did not see any roads without holes. What a shame |

Eko-ile or whatever, tell yor boss Fashola to stop all this publicity and do something about lagos roads i spent 3 weeks in lagos last month and it was hell. From ago to ikeja takes about 7 hours. Traffic in Ago(Okota) is very terrible. I cannot imagin why lagosian like you still cherish fashion.Have you ever travel abroad?Eko has Baje terribly compare to a decade ago. |

Romance / Re: I Hate Housework And Cooking by keeptrying: 7:40pm On Sep 07, 2010 |
@poster some of the people giving you advise here do not really know what it takes to live comfortably overseas. can one income pay all the bills? probably not. you have to sit down with your husband and discuss this issue. he MUST participate in the house choir especially during the week when you are at work since he normally comes back earlier. At weekend you can prepare a meal that will be sufficient for the rest of the week.Do all your laundry at weekends and arrange your children cloth by then. |

Religion / Re: What Does It Mean "to Pastor" Or To Be A "pastor"? by keeptrying: 4:34am On Aug 20, 2010 |
i think some people in niga became pastors due to economy hardship and unemployment.right now i am sooo sad to comment further, just want to go to bed. |
Religion / Re: Trust No One But God by keeptrying: 4:15am On Aug 20, 2010 |
i will never trust anyone again especially our fellow niga "in christ". I don't know why someone who profess as a christian and hold a very respected post in the church can be dubious and silly. i am just lamenting due to recent experience.sending money and not accomplishing ones mission is very annoying.any problem should be shared with God alone. But if married it can be shared with ones spouse because the two are now one. |
Health / Re: Maternal Deaths In Nigeria, Who Is To Be Blame? by keeptrying: 3:59am On Aug 20, 2010 |
The Nigerian goverment is definately to be blamed.thier wives and relative normally come to the Europe and Us to deliver thier baby whereas ordinary nigeria citizen are left in the mercy hands of unequiped hospital facility. i will never forget when a close friend of mine lost her mother who was in labour due to a strike in LUTH,although it is several years ago,but i will never forget.i also lost two of my friend like that.Nigerian leaders are just selfish and i think they are the most wicked human being on earth each of my child labour and delivery cost over $10,000 but it is being paid by medicaid. i don't know the role of the nigeria goverment.Labour and delivery in Nigeria is even a risk. You see pastors and families praying fervently for safe delivery of the mother.with all the nigeria revenue i don't know why a woman in labour should pay for her hospital bills.hisssssssss |
Health / Re: Doctors In The House Please by keeptrying: 12:27am On Aug 20, 2010 |
you can book appointment with an ENT who will use a scope to see what is going on. your primary doctor can also order for an X-ray of the neck.if you feel pain you may want to go to your doctor sooner.did you have difficulty with swallowing, did you feel like a lump in your throat? how long have you been experiencing it.(note: i am not a doctor, i am a nurse.doctor in the house may answer your question better) |
Health / Re: Hiv Help by keeptrying: 3:36pm On Jul 29, 2010 |
pls my friend go and see an infectious disease doctor. There is no cure for HIV for now but through proper medication and adequate diet you can live a fulfilled life.anybody that send you a mail and claim that he has a cure is just a scam.they will promise you heaven but give you hell.your doctor will help you to manage your disease. All this illiterate claiming to cure all manners of disease including cancer, diabetes,HIV etc are just looking for way to make a daily living. Read extensively about your medical condition, join forum or groups and overall live a happy life. |

Family / Re: Is It Proper To Make My Wife Next Of Kin? by keeptrying: 7:45pm On Jul 11, 2010 |
I read some of the replies and i was very furious.how can a guy's parent be his next of kin? African women are still been marginalized and degraded. It is time all african women rise up and figth for their right. Is it not possible for a woman to have more assest than the man in nigeria. Is their no law backing the institition of marriage in nigeria. so african man that is even doubting who should be his beneficiary concerning his assest will never think of buying any life insurance for himself and make the wife his beneficiary .This is ridiculous . If my husband divource me i am automatically entitled to almost half of his assest and if he dies i am entitled to all our assests including a life insurance and vise versa, that is U.S for you. That is the way it should be.Problem with our country is poverty, culture and lawlessness. In a country where a man can have more than one woman at home what did you expect. institution of marriage is not respected and women are regarded has a machine that produce children. Poster use your wife has a beneficiary |

this is not related to the topic, but has anyone read the post of LAGBAJA is dying.it is about a helpless man sleeping on the main road.is he still alive?what kind of govermnent do we have in nigeria? i pray they all rot in hell.I can not imagine that happening in the states.I live in the state they are not super human being but they have adequate planing. How can a citizen be sleeping on the street and a politician in nigeria just wire about 30 million dollars to a girlfriend account here in american. That is pure evil.I hope all the pastors in the county talk to God about all the lucifer leaders in nigeria. |

Health / Re: Doctors And Hospitals In Nigeria by keeptrying: 12:05am On Apr 10, 2010 |
well,i have read all the comment and recommendations on this particular topic.I joined this forum just last month.I live in the states and i could tell that every country has there own setback in terms of healthcare delivery. In the state if you did not have insurance and you are very ill, it is either you stay home and die with the sickness or you go to the hospital and incur debt that you will pay for the rest of your life.Even if you have insurance, treatment that normally takes 4 weeks can be extended to 4 month because doctors want money from the insurance. Some doctors will not give you adequate treatment due to fear of lawsuit from the patient. i have staph infection, i have been visiting my doctor every week for the past three month.I always pay $30 co-pay with no result.I just decide to travel in the summer to nigeria to see a private hospital specialist.Doctors here spend few minues with patient (from my own experience) all they are concern about is how to pay for their student loan. with the poor facility in the nigeria hospital, some doctors are still trying theirbest, let us all encourage them |
