Sports / TB Joshua's Message To The Super Eagles by NicolasN: 12:45am On Feb 12, 2013
Nations Cup Final: Eagles Will Win, Says T.B. Joshua
The General Overseer of The Synagogue Church Of All Nations, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, says Nigeria’s Super Eagles would defeat Burkina Faso in Sunday’s final of the Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.
T.B. Joshua, who warned Eagles’ coach, Stephen Keshi to avoid conceding a late minute goal in their AFCON Group C opener against the Burkinabe, told P.M.NEWS that Nigeria’s case in the Nations Cup final this year is like the biblical Jacob who wrestled with God, saying that “on Sunday we’ll tell God unless He gives us our heart’s desire we’ll not let Him go.
“The cloud is darker over Nigeria’s Super Eagles, but with God we’ll scale through. If it were not to be the final, anything could have happened. The first match we played with Burkina Faso, it was just by the grace of God that it ended in a draw.
“On Sunday, our opponents will play defensively because they will be looking out for penalty shootout at the end of the game. They will also play through three of their strikers upfront; one of them very tall and huge player and two others.
“What I’m seeing I don’t want to say it because it would be too frightening, but I want to assure that we’ll scale through the challenge on Sunday.”

The prophet who established a football club, My People FC to groom young players, however, warned the Eagles not to allow Burkina Faso to score first in the final, saying that “if this happened the Burkinabe would fall back to defend the goal, which will be very dangerous for our team. I still repeat that no matter the situation, we’ll scale through.
“The Burkina Faso that we played in the group stage will not be the same team we’ll play on Sunday, even though some of their players are out of the squad due to injuries. They are still a team. But I hope for celebration.”
Joshua said as the giant of Africa, Nigeria last won the Nations Cup 13 years ago, which was too long ago for a great football nation like Nigeria.
“I think God should give us this cup to make the youths of this country happy. Winning this cup at this time of religious intolerance and violence will calm down the youths. I want to appeal to all Nigerians to pray for Eagles’ victory. I would have told you the scoreline but I would rather delay it till Sunday morning in order not psychologically distract the players and their coaches and not to demoralise the losing team.”
Prophet Joshua concluded that he would not want Keshi and his team to come to his church to celebrate their victory after the match because he is not the only one praying for the Eagles to win.
“My voice may be the one louder among the men of God in the country but this doesn’t mean that the team should come to my church to celebrate. I would rather prefer that they celebrate their victory with all Nigerians,” he said.

Sports / Keshi - Why I Love TB Joshua... by NicolasN: 10:29pm On Feb 11, 2013
TB Joshua: I Saw It Coming

The victory of Nigeria’s Super Eagles over the Stallions of Burkina Faso at the final of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa yesterday did not come as a surprise to the General Overseer of The Synagogue Church Of All Nations, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, who had on Thursday last week predicted that Stephen Keshi and his team would defeat their opponents to lift the Africa Cup.
Sunday Mba’s brilliant winner ended Nigeria’s 19-year wait for the Africa Nations Cup title. Mba flicked the ball over Mohamed Koffi of Burkina Faso before volleying home five minutes before the break.
T.B. Joshua told P.M.News before the crucial final that though the match would be tough, the Eagles would win and they indeed defeated Burkina Faso to win the coveted trophy Sunday night in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Speaking shortly after the match last night, T.B.Joshua noted that the Nigerian team won the match as he predicted.
“I told you that the Eagles’ case was like the biblical Jacob who wrestled with God, saying that unless God blessed him he will not let Him go. I saw the victory coming,” he said.
Prophet Joshua had churned out a lot of football prophecies that came to pass. He predicted that the Satellites of Ghana would win the 2009 World Youth Championship, WYC, that was hosted by Egypt. He also predicted the outcome of the matches between Ghana and Nigeria at the Nations Cup in 2008. Another preidction was Nigeria’s loss to Tunisia in the 2004 Nations Cup in the semi final. In the qualifying matches to the South Africa 2010 World Cup, he predicted that Coach Shuaibu Amodu would qualify Nigeria for the Mundial and it came to pass.
Even at the just concluded 29th edition of the Nations Cup in South Africa, the Prophet told the Super Eagles that they were going to concede a late minute equaliser against the Stallions of Burkina Faso in their Group C opener, which came to pass.
He was also able to predict correctly the outcome of the second semi-final clash between Burkina Faso and the Black Stars of Ghana, which saw Burkina Faso, beating Ghana through penalties.
His two predictions will live to haunt the Elephants of Ivory Coast for a very longtime as he once told them that they were going to reach the final of the 2012 edition of the Nations Cup in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea, but they would lose the trophy to the Chipolopolo of Zambia.
The second prediction that jolted Didier Drogba-inspired Ivory Coast was that the Eagles would send them packing from the South Africa 2013 Nations Cup which came to pass when they lost 1-2 to the Nigerian team.

Religion / Keshi: TB Joshua's Anointing Water Saved Us From Mali's Juju by NicolasN: 10:19pm On Feb 07, 2013
For those that don’t believe black magic plays a part in football, an official with the Super Eagles has informed how the Eagles of Mali players broke two eggs on the Moses Mabhida Stadium turf as they came for the warm-up section in Wednesday’s Semi-Final clash.
The official, who begged Sporting Life that his name should not be revealed, said: “I have never seen such a thing in my life though I have heard time without number that ‘juju’ can play a role in African football.
“As we set the pitch for the Eagles stars to begin the light warm-up section before the semi-final game, there I spotted two Malian players stoning to the ground eggs as they prepared for their own section.
“Another official who also witnessed the incident, called me and gave me a bottle of Anointing Water (from T.B. Joshua) to sprinkle to the spot. That I did. I was not surprised when the Malians made the Eagles look ordinary in the opening 15 minutes of the game.
“My joy is, God showed He is above every evil when, after the Mali Eagles dominance, we countered and scored our opening goal.
“We then went on to score four goals before they got a consolation.”

Sports / NFF Thanks T.B Joshua For Eagles Victory by NicolasN: 12:39am On Feb 05, 2013
Top officials of the Nigeria Football Federation have conveyed their deep-rooted appreciation to Prophet T.B. Joshua of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations for what they described as his special support for the national team, Super Eagles leading up to Sunday’s 2-1 defeat of the hitherto dreaded star-studded Elephants of Ivory Coast in the quarter-finals of the on-going Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.

Prior to the epic encounter on Sunday in Rustenburg, South Africa, the Super Eagles were merely given an outside chance to prevail over the Elephants who were loaded to the brim with superstar players including Didier Drogba and Yaya Toure.

But Stephen Keshi’s team who went inot the game as underdogs, stunned thw orld including with a magnificent display of amazing skills, grit and team play, to edge their West African neighbours out of the tournament at the quarter-finals stage.

Apparently on cloud nine, Nigeria Football Federation top brass and Coordinator of the Super Eagles, Emmanuel Atta was lavish with encomiums on Prophet T.B. Joshua for what he described as “his wonderful role in the 2-1 defeat of Ivory Coast”.

Moments after the encounter, Attah sent out sms text messages to The “Synagogue Man of God” thanking him for standing solidly behind the Eagles in the game against Ivory Coast.

“We’re very appreciateive of him. He was wonderful and we can’t thank him enough,” Attah screamed excitedly.

“T.B. Joshua was fervent in his prayers for the team. We observed all that he asked us to do, starting from a day before the game. This is a special victory for the team and the nation and we cannot thank God enough.”

Attah also expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their support and prayers for the senior national team. He assured that with more of such support, the Eagles will continue to work hard in order to make Nigerians happy.

Religion / Reminding Ourselves Of This Year's Prophecies by NicolasN: 2:06pm On Jan 28, 2013
Let us remind ourselves of the Prophecies For Individuals In 2013 – Prophet T.B. Joshua
as many have begun to come to pass.

“Let me give you six out of many.

The prophecies for nations, continents and for those at the helm of affairs shall be announced during the next Sunday Service.

1. A year of surprises – I am seeing many great, famous, popular and rich men and politicians will become helpless and in need of help in matters of sickness, disease, finances, death, etc. One of the causes: They have failed to reward those who helped them to succeed. This is the year of judgment, especially for politicians who use youth to support their political ambitions without reward after winning power. Tell your neighbour: Reward those who help you succeed now.

2. Those in the foodstuff business will have a field day this year. Farming and agriculture will be the order of the day and will help greatly to be the source of solution this year. People engaged in it will be greatly blessed.

3. Those anxious about God and who hate sin – the faithful - your prayers for many years are not lost. This year, there will be instant answers to your prayers, especially those who have been seeking for the fruit of the womb. The long-time barren will become mothers of many babies this New Year.

4. Natural disasters will be many this New Year, such as motor accidents, sea/flood/air disasters, fire, etc. Let us move to God. With God, all things are possible.

5. Stop praying against those who hurt you. This year, you will see clearly that God is God of vengeance. Instead, you should pray for them.

6. Do charity work – feed the poor and the needy and give scholarships to those who deserve them. This year, there is great reward in doing this if you do it with all your heart. No matter how little, share it with others. Share their pain and share their joy.

7. Our youth who think always of travelling should use the money to go into agriculture or foodstuff business because in the New Year, God will bless them. They will achieve greatness by transacting in agriculture and foodstuff and become successful in export and import business. The money I am talking about could be in the region of N100,000, N200,000, N250,000 ($1,000, $1,500, $2,000).

Those who have been working for many years and have never been satisfied with the job and salary they receive, the little limited resources at their disposal should be invested in foodstuff business or agriculture, especially those already married. They should divide themselves in such a way that either the husband or wife should step down from service where they receive salary and face agriculture.

Foodstuff business and agriculture or farming are anointed businesses this New Year, to revive the world from economic depression. This is the secret of God revealed to you today. Quote me; you will not regret doing it. My name is T.B. Joshua”.

The Beauty of God’s Creation & Teaching.

The True Islam is The religion of affection, compassion, love, peace, liberty, equality, beauty and prosperity.
We reject Islamic violent extremism, and promote peace, love, tolerance, compassion, accept different thought, ideas and interpretation of Islamic teaching.
Muslims should also make great progress and produce superb works of technology, science, culture, art, and aesthetics, as well as live Islam in the best way, and thus represent it to the world.
Liberty with freedom of religion, speech, expression, and justice for all regardless his religion, race, gender and original nationality.
through the separation of mosque and state.
How wonderful it is, how pleasant,
for God's people to live together in harmony.
Psalm 133;1

Prof Dr HM Quraish Shihab, Indonesian famous philosopher says;

“If an apostle always gives a lesson, which is contrary to your pride anytime he comes, therefore, will you accuse some of them and kill the others?” QS 2:87.

This is human being, when a prophet comes with miracles, they will still reject him. Would you still have no faith in the teachings of Prophet Jesus?

Rasulullah explains the miracles of Prophet Jesus as:

QS 3:49 \ "Surely, I have come to you bringing a sign of wonder from God,
- I made you from the earth in the form of a bird, then I breathed, then it became a bird as God would;

- And I healed those born blind and a person with skin disease and I raised the dead with God’s permission;

- And I gave you what you eat and store in your houses. Verily, this is an apostolic sign of truth for you, if you truly believe".

Miracles of Jesus in the BIBLE:

The Healing of the Demon Possessed Boy (Matthew 17:14-20)
14 When they came to the crowd, a man approached Jesus and knelt before him. 15 “Lord, have mercy on my son,” he said. “He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. 16 I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him.”
17 “You unbelieving and perverse generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.” 18 Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment.
19 Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?”
20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
Jesus Heals the Sick (Matthew 14:34-36)

34 When they had crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret. 35 And when the men of that place recognized Jesus, they sent word to all the surrounding country. People brought all their sick to him 36 and begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed.

God still sends a man of God, like T.B. Joshua with his miracles as those that Prophet Jesus performed . He heals various sicknesses just by touching the sick or by using the medium of the Anointing Water.

Will you reject it as you rejected any prophet who came with miracles from Allah?

If an apostle always gives a lesson which is contrary to your pride anytime he comes, therefore, will you accuse some of them and kill the others? QS 2:87

CONCLUSION
He, who has faith and follows the teachings of Prophet Jesus (Prophet Isa), then God will put in his heart love, respect and a peaceful life.

Rasulullah SAW explains:
Therefore, our apostles follow behind them and Isa, the son of Mary and we gave to Him the Gospel and we put in His heart respect and love. QS.57: 27.

Those who reject God’s commandment above are those who follow some part and ignore the rest – QS 2:85 – their lives will be disgraced on earth and in the hell.

May God open our heart. Amen. Pray that God open our heart. Amen.

@Canisma- You are just right. I think the world need to know who God has sent to our midst. For the fact that he is from Africa does not mean he is not from God. And this is what satan uses to deceive people that ought to have been saved by now.

Well... all I have to say is that watch out for satan agents trying in all ways to deceive people that God does not exist any more.

Religion / Who Is This Man TB Joshua??? by NicolasN: 2:23am On Apr 08, 2012
TB Joshua's Michael Jackson, Mutharika Prophesy, And His Prophesied Life.

Who Is This Man TB Joshua..
"The most surprising part of TB Joshua is that his life had been prophesied by another great man of God..."

When the Africa heard of Malawi's president cardiac arrest , and his death a day later, one word came haunting, TB Joshua. Less than two months ago, the Nigerian prophet told his congregation that God had showed him the death of an old African president. Since he had already built a reputation by accurately prophesying the death of pop icon Michael Jackson, the world did not take those words lightly. Immediately, social networking sites were on fire as to who, TB Joshua was referring to. High on the list of possible candidates was, Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe, Kenya's Mwai Kibaki, Malawi's Bingu wa Mutharika and Senegal's Abdoulaye Wade, who has since lost the election. This was going by the words of TB Joshua that the president is old.

This weekend, just one week before the death of Bingu wa Mutharika, TB Joshua repeated his calls that Africa prays for its leaders as the death of one of its president was very close. Social networks were reignited again.

Temitope Balogun Joshua was born in 1963 in Nigeria and is the leader and founder of the organization, The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), which runs its own TV station, Emmanuel TV. As with many successful church ministers, TB Joshua as been a target of controversies. Some pastors have even accused him of using other powers other than God's.

June 2009 will be remembered as the year when Michael Jackson died. What many people don't know is that his death had been prophesied by TB Jackson 5 months earlier. On a live broadcast on Emmanuel TV, the prophet said,

“I’m seeing a great star whom the world is shouting, “Hey, hey, hey!” In his own area, he’s famous – he’s known everywhere. He is great – too great… I see something will begin to happen to that star and that may likely end in him packing his load and going on the journey of no return…

Some have dismissed the prophesy as too general to be associated with Michael Jackson, but later events proved that TB Joshua actually had Michael Jackson in mind. On live TV, former President of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Tee Mac, told a congragation,

“The man of God (TB Joshua) called me to his office and said to me, ‘Please, tell your friend Marlon to bring Michael here to Nigeria. Michael needs healing; he needs deliverance.’ I told the man of God that Michael Jackson just went for a medical check up because he is going to have about 50 concerts soon. But the man of God said to me, ‘Send Michael here – he needs healing.’ ”
When the tragic news broke, “what immediately came to my mind was that the man of God told me something’s going to happen,”

That statement immediately solidified TB Joshua's prophesying credentials. That was however not the only TB Joshua's prophesy that has come to pass. He is said to have predicted several football match outcomes, including the final of AFCON, where Zambia's Chipolopolo carried the day.

The most surprising part of TB Joshua is that his life had been prophesied by another great man of God, the late prophet Adewole. In 1995, Adewole was confronted by a group of three journalist who wanted his comments on this new young prophet. In his own words, Prophet Adewole said,

“I was attending to people in my office one day when three journalists entered; the three of them came from three different media houses. They asked, “Prophet Sir, we see and know you to be one of foremost Prophets of God in Africa today. Millions of people are looking forward to your comments because you are the only prophet who has never commented on the subject?” At this point, before they mentioned what they really wanted and the man in question, our Lord Jesus Christ appeared to me from the Altar in my office on a golden, very beautiful and mighty chair. He commanded me not to join fake, jealous and envious prophets to say blasphemy against a fellow messenger of God.
'The Man in the Synagogue is mine. He is your spiritual colleague. He is not fake. His power is not mixed. I do as I please. You are all working for my glory on earth. Do never disown or desert him. Truly he is young in age, but my spirit in him is pure and great. His grace is special. Many will fall through him, while others will rise through him also. Advise him always like a son, friend and colleague and do not judge him at all because God is the only judge. I reveal this to you because you fear, adore and do my wish always. I love you' – and He disappeared.

I then turned and faced the three men again. And I started telling them all God told me about the man, Temitope Joshua, in the Synagogue, Egbe, Lagos. They were marvelled and become embarrassed. Then one of them said, “Daddy, we believe you, but we want you to see him conjure with his hand. He is using mixed powers. Two other top prophets and the head of witches have promised to test and punish him.” I told them that all the witches and prophets on earth cannot even face an anointed man of God. I even warned them not to join the unbelievers that are fighting God through his prophets. After that they left”.
He later went on to tell his people,
“a young man from Nigeria would be highly anointed, such that all the nations of the world would embrace the mighty God through him.” He said a time would come that the Synagogue Church of All Nations will become a Jerusalem in Nigeria, such that the number of foreigners would outnumber the Nigerians attending the church.

Politics / Joyce Banda Sworn In As President Of Malawi by NicolasN: 6:20pm On Apr 07, 2012
Former vice-president takes over as leader, following the death in office of President Bingu wa Mutharika two days ago.

Joyce Banda, Malawi's former vice-president, has taken over the running of the southern African nation following the death in office of President Bingu wa Mutharika two days ago.

Banda, 61, was sworn in as president at the National Assembly in the capital Lilongwe on Saturday. She becomes southern Africa's first ever female head of state.

"I will well and truly perform the functions of the high office of the president of the Republic of Malawi," Banda said as she recited the oath of office.

She later added: "I want all of us to move into the future with hope and with the spirit of oneness and unity."

Malawi's government only officially confirmed the death of her 78-year-old predecessor earlier on Saturday, after Mutharika died following a heart attack on Thursday.

The delay in the announcement had raised concerns about a political crisis because Banda had been expelled from Mutharika's ruling DPP party in 2010 after an argument about the succession, though she retained her state position.

"I sincerely hope there is no room for revenge," Banda said after taking her oath.

"I hope we shall stand united and I hope that as a God-fearing nation we allow God to come before us, because if we don't do that then we have failed."

Days of mourning

Banda appeared at a news conference earlier on Saturday to declare an official 10 days of mourning for Mutharika, who had ruled for eight years.

She ordered national flags to be flown at half-mast and the state broadcaster to play sombre music.

"I call upon all Malawians to remain calm and to keep the peace during this time of bereavement," said Banda, flanked by members of the cabinet, the attorney general and the heads of the army and the police.

Asked whether she was assuming the presidency, Banda, a women's rights activist, replied: "As you can see, the constitution prevails".

The Malawian constitution states the vice-president takes over if the president dies, but Mutharika appeared to have been grooming his brother Peter, the foreign minister, as his de facto successor.

Banda is expected to run the country until scheduled elections take place in 2014.

Smooth transition

To convince the international community of the smooth transition, both the presidency and cabinet issued a statement assuring "that the constitution of the Republic of Malawi will be strictly adhered to in managing the transition".

Both Britain and the US which had been major donors to Malawi until they froze millions of dollars in aid over rows with Mutharika over his policies and actions, urged a smooth transition respecting the constitution.

William Hague, the UK foreign minister, said in a statement on Saturday: "I urge all sides to remain calm and [hope] that a peaceful handover takes place as provided for under Malawi's constitution."

There appeared to be little public sorrow at Mutharika's death.

Many of Malawi's 13 million people had viewed him as an autocrat personally responsible for an economic crisis that stemmed ultimately from a diplomatic row with former colonial power Britain a year ago.

Britain and others froze aid worth some 40 per cent of government spending, fuel supplies dried up and food prices soared, leading to popular unrest.

Medical sources said Mutharika's body was flown to South Africa because Malawi's energy crisis was so severe the Lilongwe state hospital would have been unable to conduct a proper autopsy or even keep his body refrigerated.

Different write-ups about a prophetic message from Prophet T.B. Joshua regarding the need to pray for the leader of an African Country are being circulated on the internet. Rather than present the message in the exact manner in which it was given, some jobless people have taken it upon themselves to present to the public misleading stories therefore creating unnecessary worry and anxiety for some people who believe that the message might concern them. Some newspapers have also allowed themselves to be cheaply used to propagate these rumours. I strongly believe that a newspaper of repute will always do its own personal findings whenever news reaches its desk instead of filling the pages of their newspaper with false stories, all in the name of money. One of the ambiguous stories in circulation is that Prophet T.B. Joshua stated that the death of the leader would occur 60 days from the date (February 5, 2012) that the prophecy was given whereas the prophet never mentioned any date or name while giving the message. I was following The SCOAN Sunday Live Service on Emmanuel TV when the prophetic message was given by Prophet T.B. Joshua himself and I can categorically state that the prophet did not say that the situation is unchangeable. The message I have for these rumour mongers is that whatever evil they are wishing to happen to their president will also happen to them. With regards to the misinterpretation of the prophetic message, the perpetrators should let the message of Psalm 105:15 sink into their minds. Psalm 105:15: “Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm.”
