Sickening to see individuals rejoicing over someone dying from battling cancer.
No matter what she or her family may have done, no one should be the judge. God isn't dead.

God bless the dead.

not everyone is religious and ppl have different moral codes. And if there is a God who will judge these people then i think he already did. :-

After all the battle with cancer, she finally gave up. Though her husband is a tyrant and a thief, Maryan is one of the very few Nigerian women I ever admired.
May her soul rest in peace.

It seems you really fell hard for her PR machine whilst looting.  grin grin grin grin grin

No problem. People have fallen for worse humans' PR machine.

There are those that loved Saddam as the Saviour and Father of Iraq.  undecided

How my wife died – IBB

Former President Ibrahim Babangida on Sunday narrated how his wife, Maryam, died in a United States of America hospital.

Babangida, popularly called IBB by many, said that he was at her bedside at the University of California Los Angele‘s Jonson Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Los Angeles, United States, where he said she died at the age of 61.

A statement, which was signed by the former military ruler’s special assistant, Malam Ibrahim Ismaila, a copy of which was available to our correspondent in Abuja claimed that Babangida had been by her wife’s beside in the US hospital till her death since her condition worsened months ago.

The statement read, “With total submission to the Will of Allah, we humbly announce the passing away of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and amiable friend Hajiya Maryam Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida.

“A statement from General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida’s family announced today that Maryam passed on early this morning at the age of 61, after a protracted illness.

“The former chairperson of the Better Life for Rural Women during her husband‘s years in office had been hospitalised at University of California Los Angele‘s (UCLA) Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Los Angeles, United States.

“She died beside her husband, General Babangida who has been at her bedside in the US hospital till her death. Mrs. Babangida‘s condition worsened months ago

For the woman that used to do my mum's hair that always had a miserable and unhappy face at all times and died in her late 30s/early 40s of a minor illness. I pour a little liqour and take a sip in celebration.

For the nice woman that lived down the road that lost her only child to malaria and was wailing her plight back in the early 1990s. I pour a little liqour and take a sip in celebration.

For the thousands that die of car accidents on Nigeria's horrible roads. I pour a little liqour and take a sip in celebration.

For the thousands of Nigerians that get harassed and bullied by authorities, cannot afford a lawyer and none is available for free under the state and have to live life broken due to the injustice. I pour a little liqour and take a sip in celebration.

I meant pour a little liquor to the earth to remember the dead poor, and drinking in celebration for one of the key families in their suffering's loss.

You know when gangster pour liquor for their fallen friends.  grin

How I go pour large amount? I go drink the rest. The thing expensive na.  grin
